All the players here happy when having fun but do take note to do your checks. Singapore is damn expensive. just go to JB and do the test . It is much cheaper there.
I came to a realisation that A lot of people don't do test here in Singapore and STD that have almost zero symptoms like Chlamydia are spreading. I kena and a lot of people I know and are active with also kena.
I do test very 3 months so I know about it and got it treated. But Singapore is too expensive to do regular checkup, so the next best alternative is JB Malaysia. They do cheaper and more comprehensive. I want to continue playing, so I need to spread this info to as many people as I can because end of the day it comes back to me.
Chlamydia is easily transmitted by CB or LC juice. BBBJ with infected CB or LC juice will get you infected. Rubbing outside bare without penetration will also risk infection. Most people zero symptoms, but if don't cure, it will damage your reproductive organs. This can be cured with certain antibiotics.
also if don't cure, you are 300 percent more likely to kena gonorrhea, Syphillis , Herpes and HIV according to CDC.
Don't spoil the playing field for everyone and don't Destroy your life. Imagine if you spread to your serious gf or your wife and you have a family.

May I ask how much does the full HIV+STD cost in Johor? It costs me S$574 here after GST. I don't do rapid tests.

Do you also purchase Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) medicine in Johor? I'm wondering how much it costs there compared to here. PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99%.

You have to take this medicine within 24/48/72 hours after unprotected sex with HIV positive. 1 month of this medicine and have to take it on time. It is kind of nightmare.

Go for protection even if it is BJ. The risk will be low. I did talk with Doctor on this, the doctor say if you use condom for sex and bj. The risk is very low and no need to worry.

Hi Hazelnut, hope you are well. My SO wants to update you on something and she hopes you don’t mind.
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) falls into 2 protocols. Either "Daily PrEP" or on demand PrEP, medically known as "Event Based Dosing". Both methods have pros and cons.
For daily PrEP the dosing guideline for hetrosexual (guy/girl) sex is:
• Take 1 tablet every day, at the same time each day. Wait 7 days after you start taking it before you have sex.
• If you want to start taking daily PrEP but might have sex within the first 7 days, take 2 tablets at least 2 hours before you have sex. Then continue to take 1 tablet each day.
Do not to miss your dose but if that does happen, you must have taken at least 6 daily doses in the past week. to be covered. Also, If you have had vaginal/frontal sex, take your daily dose for 7 more days after the last time you had sex.
For gay, bi, transgender, or have medical conditions where you are taking daily medications, speak to your own doctor before starting.
For on demand PrEP she wants to make clear this is only recommended for anal sex and NOT vaginal sex. The dosing guideline for this is:
• take 2 tablets between 2 and 24 hours before having anal sex
• take 1 tablet 24 hours later
• take 1 tablet 24 hours after that
• If you're continuing to have sex over a period of time, carry on taking 1 pill every 24 hours until you have not had sex for 2 days.
She strongly recommends anyone thinking of buying PrEP meds in JB or Thailand to speak your or a doctor first. Make sure the doctor knows about PrEP by asking them. You may need to let them give you your first course and check your blood panel to rule out any underlying conditions that would make taking PrEP unsuitable for you. Then you can safely buy the meds in JB or Thailand.
This is not individual medical advice but general information for anyone considering PrEP.
Have a good Sunday everyone!

People who take Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis are the dumbest fucks around. This only protects you from HIV, but it does not protect you from other STDs. So if you take this and fuck some one bareback, congrats to you. U will not likely get HIV. However, your risk to get syphilis, gonorrhea, etc. is still there.
Yes, she completely agrees with what you said and adds the following, PrEP is meant to reduce the risk of HIV transmission in case of condom failure but does not preclude the use of condoms. As you rightly point out, PrEP does not protect from other STDs so unless the two parties want/can to do a blood test and repeat after 3 month window with no unprotected sex with third parties, use a condom.

Does this medicine have any side effects?

Does this medicine have any side effects?
PrEP in general, assuming no current or pre-existing underlying health concerns or conditions is well tolerated. Common short term side effects are nausea, upset stomach or developing migraines. Longer term, PrEP can compromise liver and kidney function. If a person has Hepatitis B or C, the regime needs to be altered and "on-demand PrEP" may not be suitable.
Again, she is stressing the following: See a doctor to do a blood panel to determine a baseline for hepatic (liver) and renal (kidney) function and assessment to decide which regime, if any, of PrEP is suitable before self administering PrEP. Also regularly check blood panels to ensure no kidney or liver issues.
It's a minor inconvenience for long term peace of mind. Also, she wants to clearly stress, PrEP is only effective for HIV, not other STDs because some people think it's effective for everything... It isn’t. Use a condom if there is any sex, even oral if your partner has lesions or sores on the lips or around the mouth.

Not sure if sales is targeted at them but they do form the majority of cases even though homosexual sex is probably a tiny fraction of sexual intercourse nationwide.
"Sexual intercourse remains the main mode of HIV transmission, accounting for 94.3% (197 out of 209) of the cases. Heterosexual transmission accounted for 31.6% (66 out of 209) of all cases, while 62.7% of the cases (131 out of 209) occurred in men who have sex with men, including 5.7% (12 out of 209) who are bisexual men. I am having PEP at the moment when doctor say it is low risk of it as my healing wound exposes to stranger's blood.
Previously i had first PEP due to the condom slip off when i had sex with a girl. Both of us had check up after that and 100% free from STD/HIV. But, i started to have PEP before the report out.

Hi Hazenut... SO says she cannot comment on risk level without knowing details but if you have a wound that is still open, healing or doesn’t have a scab covering it, it can potentially be an introduction point for infection so if the examining doctor that assessed you prescribed PEP, you should be ok.
She also says there's generally no limit to the number of times you can be on PEP as long as there's a break between courses, especially if blood panel shows an abnormality. She says good for you that you took it seriously enough to get it checked properly. It's a small inconvenience for long term peace of mind. :)

Actually she has a correction for you, PEP is a combination of 2 different tablets, taken either once a day or twice a day depending on what is prescribed and you take it for 28 days only. Taking PEP long term or regularly is not recommended or prescribed. PEP will only be prescribed by guidelines if you are given within 72 hours of exposure. After 72 hours, the effectiveness is greatly reduced.
The one taken regularly and long term is PrEP. This is 1 tablet, taken daily as described in an earlier reply
Hope this helps.:)

Guys, this PrEP HIV is very helpful. Please go for this is you are high risk.
Meantime, There is PrEP Doxy or DoxyPEP. Many test are already being carried out with promising results.
And if you are wondering what is PrEP Doxy, it is the same thing as PrEP HIV, just that it targets the other STD like Chlmydia, Gon and SIlphilis. It does not have as high as 99 % success rate like PrEp HIV, But test shows 60-70%.

Singapore DSC only do HIV, Syphillis, Chlamydia, Gonnoria,
and their appointment minimum 1 month.
JB do all the above plus Herpes 1 and 2, VDRL, HEP B . Pierce also about same as DSC if converted to SGD
Malaysia appointment immediate within the day,
Average cost of test Rm 240-288, 3 days will get and will WhatsApp you.
Treatment for Chlamydia and gonnoria (they will do treatment for both because this 2 are same family) Average rm 240-260. JB will give you one injection and 2 type of antibiotics. Singapore only give antibiotics. According to what I saw, not so effective without the injection. I don't know how much in Sg but it is Much higher.
A lot of people have Herpes also. they have meds to control it for long term. This cannot cure but the current meds can control.
To find the clinics , just google, there are many and you don't need a specialist for this.
Cost me $80 at DSC. Just did it last month.

Thanks for this info. I've read about PrEP and PEP for HIV on Men's clinic websites but this is the first time I've read about Doxy PEP. Asked a Men's clinic doctor about it and it's very cheap - 2 tablets post exposure is all that is required, and 10 tablets cost $25. So that's like $5 for every post exposure. Bought some myself.
The CDC Clinical Guidelines from US says the follows:
"In three large randomized controlled trials, 200 mg of doxycycline taken within 72 hours after sex has been shown to reduce syphilis and chlamydia infections by >70% and gonococcal infections by approximately 50%."
https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/73/rr/rr7302a1.htm
As you have mentioned the protection rate isn't extremely high, but for the price of just $5 it already does a very good job. So I would highly recommend other bros to consider buying this as well. Even with a condom I think this still helps since there's also kissing, BBBJ where exposures can happen.

Bro thanks for this info! I'll probably buy this as well since the price is really cheap - like the cost of a hawker meal nowadays, all for a 70% reduction in infection rate for the common STDs. Only 2 tablets post exposure sounds doable as well. Unlike HIV PEP which requires you to take a tablet for 28 days. I checked with my doctor HIV PEP costs > $2000. Too tedious and too expensive.
Also appreciate all the quotes and links from government sources you always provide. Always better to read from these reputable sources like CDC and MOH, there's just too much hearsay being thrown around for critical info like this.

ohh fuck....for a moment I saw it as $65 and wondering why it was painful, until rereading realised I missed a zero.
$650 for 4 tests, if I do in jb, still have more than enough left over to get reasons to need to check again.

Yeah I guess so. actually the urine is 4 tests in 1. Cannot remember the other 2. Either way. Yeah. Its painful but for a peace of mind. Its worth it.
Cleared the blood test which is the most hair raising as if tio then will be very very troublesome. urine test ones are very treatable.

Just wondering, are there no self service test kits for common stds ?
Did not take long for covid tests kits to come out, heck, even if need couple of drops of blood, I believe it will still be a hotseller.
I know I would get it for some self tests.

Thanks for the info, actually i always thought to trust the medical tests in singapore. but i think go JB is much cheaper.!

What does a full STD panel include?
It typically screens for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, and hepatitis as part of this examination process. By encompassing multiple pathogens, a Panel STD Test provides a complete overview of an individual's sexual health, aiding in early detection and timely intervention.
