bros, where u all book the hotel usually? by hours or by days? cos i interested in local fl but dunno where to book hotel.. gonna to one full day? or some allow a few hrs stay?

hey bro, this is NOT the place to ask this qns. U should post it on another place. in any case, just a quick ans to ur qns. usually i'll choose to go H81 as they offer transit bookings i.e. for 2 hrs. but depending on which 81 outlet you go, the price might range from 20-30 bucks.

Hotel 81 SOP :

1) First time: $30 - $20 for (2 hours booking of room) ; $10 registration fee

2) Subsequent visit: $20 (for 2 hours booking of room)

Almost all transit hotels prefer to charge by a 2hr-block. There are some who take a minimum of 1hr -- ask at the counter. Prices can vary from under-$20 (for those situated around L1x) to $30 (H81s in the city area).

Of course you can stay any amount of time you like and you will be charged accordingly. If you are looking for overnight, half-day or full-day booking, some hotels have such packages. It will be cheaper than charging by the standard block. Ask them if they offer such packages.

Note that hotels in JC area may not offer transit bookings anymore as there had been a ruling set in place.

So if the hotel offers $20 for 2hrs and $10 for every hour in excess, and you decide to stay 3hrs, then the cost will be $50.

Or, FOR EXAMPLE, if you want an overnight booking, you can end up paying $70 from 12mn to 9am (overnight rate).
