Let me start the ball rolling . For me , at first i don't really like the game of golf ! but it has became a good means of networking as well as a all time reason for as and well i want to get out of the house ! pack my golf clubs into the the car , sayang sayang my wife and off into the arms of another woman !:p I skip all 18 holes , straight for the 19th !

i often do work with bands, sometime this even means going on tour with the bands. nothing like getting away for 1-2 weeks :)

if im not doing that i can then use doing guest vocal recording for some bands or jamming with bands.

if that all fails i sms a bro to ring me and tell me he has an emergency and needs me. then me and bro go out and party :)

I get a fren to do this together. First introduce my fren example "Tom" to my wife, say he's a close fren from army or sch or watsoever. Then when i need to go out just say go out with Tom, go Tom house, Tom's fren birthday... Tom Tom Tom.... Of course, he help u, u must also help him =D

I was getting a massage along East Coast yesterday at a clean Javanese joint. It was quite packed and almost all the beds were taken up but you can hear the other brothers (separated by just curtains). I recall at least 3 brothers getting phonecalls thorugh their massage and ALL three told their wives/gfs that they were at a meeting, rushing out some report before end of year and best of all, looking for birthday present for friend's kid. Ha.

personally, i'm studying in a local tertiary institution, so.. the project excuse works sometimes, (provided you have *something* to show - because the gf does call up the team mates sometimes), and or else for normal weekdays, i'll just say i'm meeting clients, staying over at the office doing stuff, etc. (i run my own biz too alongside school, so pretty much, can kheng most things, plus.. i've a nice office in the CBD ;))

I go out practically everynight on weeknights. I just tell my wife that I need to entertain. Whenever my mobile rings on weekends my wife will ask me who and why. If I want to go out that particular night, I wiil say that my client is in trouble I need to attend to him. Sometimes I pretend and tell my wife that I dont want to meet this client because he has not been prompt with his payment. My wife's response is usually telling me not to be so materialistic and judge people on their financial attributes.

Anyway there are at least a thousand reasons that one can cooked up if one really wants to go out. When there is a will there is always a way. One will never run out of reasons.
