I am getting really tired of some TS, just starting the story, half way post some stupid crab like got meeting to attend to and disappear for 5 days and of course, some liners like, if you like it up me.

it's juz like watchin a street busker perform in Orchard road. if u r happy with his performance half way, then u can give some tokens to show yr apprecn. or u might want to wait til d whole performance to see if he deserves any at all.

Bro, no point lah... this is afterall the internet, gotta come to accept all kinda of shit happening. If story no progress, just move the tent to elsewhere.

Also, we shouldn't feel obliged to give points. Do so at anyone's own free will. Usually, those who ask for points before wanting to continue writing then i lagi dun wanna give ar :p

Hi Bros, although I got only 1 point but I fully agree and support Bro Criminalz idea, not trying to flame, I also noticed this trend of some story writers, if it's real experience as they claimed to be, then why must wait for days for rest of the parts, and it is always out on business trips and busy, perhaps they are gathering points momentum?

Just like below story, this TS posted his so called "real" story on 17 April and said his event will happen in a day or 2 and it's like coming to 1 month now, still nothing from him.I really hope he is not caught while turning his "event" ...:confused::eek:

Points Giving is a form of appreciation for good contribution or enjoyable postings, but to demand for points or trying to gather points momentum before updating stories is quite a turn-off actually.

I been in this forum for quite sometime liao. From what i see, Samsters here need some rules, but too rigid might turn us off instead.

If you wanna contribute story, then good. Whether u get points or not is another issue. If we are so called 'obligated' to give points whether good or bad story, then defeat the points system. Anyway, if u so gian the points, then u shud be posting pics or vids at the exchange corner.

The worst kind of poster in Sammyboy are those who stop stories cos they get zap by one or two person. Or the type who threaten to stop cos they didn't get up points. This kind of ppl should be zapped till their rep points damn cuiz cos they v gian points ma.

Points are good, but cannot be the main incentive. I think for me, if i wanna post a story is becos i wanna share and also show appreciation for reading so many good threads in this forum.

I think it depends.

Some story writers need encouragements. When u write paragraghs and paragraphs of stories, if not points given. At least some encouragements. Like "I'm pitching tent here" and "more more" or whateverever

Without points or ateven at least some encouragements. I doubt the writer is gonna write more. Cos at time writers may feel that his story is not good at all to gain readership.

Lol..good idea..but dun zap when they never or took very long to cont a story la..or else no more stories cos everyone scared of zapping...its because no rules are set that's why got so many interesting stories around..if you zap here and there, end up no more story den won't it be boring?
