familiarity breeds contempt!!

Just wondering if some bros encounter the same issues which I have with some (not all) of the WL/FL that I F****.

It goes like this - in the beginning, when you first meet, she will try to please you by BBBJ and all that. It is all hevenly. And she normally initiallises it. After quite a few meetings, like 5 -10 times, you then notice that although there is more gf feeling and familiarity about it all; she gets less proactive. You then do most of the work. That is to say, should might not give you BBBJ (or give less) as what she did as the first time. Perhaps only ocassionally; and she might even take you for granted. In summary, she is less pro active.

I guess this is normal. To take it to extreme, like after you get married, its gets boring............not like the early days.

Does bros out there encounter this transition?

me encounter this very often...
when me find a good lady to please me...
me tend to stick to her for a while...
but when she starts to slacken in her service...
me change the service provider...at least for a couple of weeks...
then look her up again...see if service attitude improved...
she'll complain why so long no look for her...me just say busy...
if she really tat bad...then me tell her cos she took me for granted...
so me went look for another lady...
tis usually 'wakes' her up about her service to me...
if she still doesn't improve...me drop her from me contact lists totally...

Yup. In fact for me now, I find that once I stick with a gal for some time, what i find then is to change tactics - that is wait for her to call me. Not I call her!! At least you know that she is thinking of you. But of course, to her it might be that maybe she has no one to call her out, so she has to call someone to earn money!!!

理当如此 was what I located on Babelfish, but I believe we normally use 理所当然。And even that does not have the impact of "take me for granted". Language is linked to its culture. There may be no equivalent of this in Chinese.
