mebbe if I get enough encouragements.. I'd upload the DSLR pics as well... ones that she had actually posed for... :) but that too - has to be after some major resizing works...

It's not a major exercise. All you need to do is to change the resolution to around 1600x1200 and adjust the jpg compression slider till you get a file size of around 150 to 200kb.
Take a look at Heroseven's images. They are optimised for the forum. Large enough for great clarity but with a file size small enough for fast downloading.

Boss, evreytime I adjust the slider already right, the pics look over exposed. How to counter this problem?
