I think there are more to it than it appears. This guy from Vietnam is an IT engineer, so he is the upper middle class type back in Vietnam and could hv his fair share of partying and access to VB, so I cannot see how he could get aroused by a female doctor in Singapore...

As the saga continues and the plot gets thicker, the female doctor will likely fumble and then this guy will be let off with some kind of reprimand/warning and probably a small fine.
