prices for flight are sky rocketing

Hi bro,
Anyone got the feeling that prices are going up for flights?
I had to pay almost double the price for my next month's flight, compare to this month' flight.down by 25%.
I had to mix match my flight to get the best deal, fly in one city, fly out of another; all single trips, that is the only way I could cut down my prices
Could any senior bros comments and give advice on how to safe a bit of money.

It was annouce last month by SIA, MAS, Cathay...etc. If you are going on your own expenses, too bad.
I would rather go by business trip.

Bro maybe its because we are near the year end..its the peak season for travelling thats why air fares are going up.

I just booked a flight to Manila NAIA on Tiger Airways next month November and it costs more than 500 sing for my gf and me :eek:

Want to travel this time period than have to pay the price hike lor....

Bro what to do...GF insists to go so must go lor...expensive also no choice...but honestly in all my years chionging in Manila and AC...its really worth the effort to go there. Quality of night life there much much better than Sillypore.

April next year planning to go back to GF kampong in Surigao Del Sur..that should be a more exciting trip and hopefully air tickets by than will be cheaper.
