Oh. Forgot one thing.

While in Shanghai, was brought to this pub called Blue Angel located near to Jing Shi An.

Quite a nice place with a band playing. Very interesting band with the musicians being Chinese while the singers are Filipinos.

Quite a few chio waitress who will gather round you to play dice and drink beer. After a few drinks can even raba. Maybe tat's because my friend is a regular there.

I believe this place can cultivate the waitress but too bad as I had to fly off the nest morning. Anyway, one of them gave me her number and asked me to call her when I'm there again.

Will definitely visit that place again and maybe can even arrange a SMB night there.

I am a very regular "visitor" to SH and looking thru all these post each time I am in SH.. as I gather lotsa places to go.. and more so cos lonely in SH esp since I am there 2 weeks every mth. This trad taught me alot.. and I tried almost all the HCs recommended in here silently..... :)

One place that I tried but was not mentioned is some Gong aka palace in Pudong near Pudong Ta tau. it seems like a clean bathhouse where families etc go together.

Funny thing cab man told me there are 'specials' in there... but being blur... when I got in did not know who to ask... asked waiters and they told me ts a clean joint... anyway booked a "therapist" extended a hr totally paid close to 900RBM,... and all I got was a HJ.... sian...

Thanks for the recommendation on Shanghai Hotel. I was able to get there last night. It was packed. Unfortunately, when it was my turn to pick and choose from the lineup, the pickings weren't that great.
However, when I finished and was walking out, I saw quite a few excellent ones on the line. Kinda made me wanna go at it again. But alas, decided to save it for another day.

Since SH is one of my major travel spots for business, I'd surely visit this place again.

中新网昨天在头条新闻的显著位置，引述商务部网站消息，全文刊载了《沐浴场所卫生规范》征求意见稿。《规范》由商务部联合卫生部共同制定，目的是“规范公共场所经营行为，提高公共场所卫生管理水平”。

新闻标题醒目地点出《卫生部拟出台沐浴场所卫生规范——要求放置安全套》。那是《规范》第二章关于“场所卫生要求”的第六条，要求“沐浴场所内应放置安全套或者设置安全套发售设施”。

《规范》第四章关于“人员卫生要求”也要求在沐浴场所直接为顾客服务的从业人员（包括临时工）必须每年进行一次健康检查，取得“健康合格证”后才能工作。《规范》指出，患有痢疾、伤寒、病毒性肝炎、活动性肺结核、化脓性或者渗出性皮肤病，以及“其他有碍公共卫生的疾病”，治愈前不得从事直接为顾客服务的工作。

《规范》的适用范围是“一切从事服务经营供人们沐浴的公共场所”，包括浴场（含会馆、会所、俱乐部所设的浴场）、桑拿中心（含宾馆、饭店、酒店、娱乐城对外开放的桑拿部和水吧SPA）、浴室（含浴池、洗浴中心）、温泉。

要求在公共休闲的沐浴场所提供安全套，代表当局承认这些场所普遍存在性行为的事实；从常识而言，它们大多属于性交易，也就是目前在中国仍然属于非法的卖淫活动。

此前，中国一些地方政府已经陆续展现对卖淫活动持比较积极的态度。
北京市政府为配合国务院颁布的《艾滋病（爱之病）防治条例》，在去年2月规定，年内北京市指定公共场所都必须放置安全套或安全套自动贩卖机，其中包括“所有娱乐场所和KTV包间、所有宾馆饭店客房、每个高等校园的学生宿舍楼门口、每个大型工地”等。

甘肃省兰州市的300名娱乐场所业主，去年11月21日也与当地的防治爱之病工作委员会签订协约，承诺场所内从事性服务的人员使用安全套。那是中国政府在兰州试行世界卫生组织提倡的“100%安全套使用项目”。

除了爱之病，传统性病如梅毒也有卷土重来之势。中国的梅毒发病率正迅速攀升，1993年每10万人的全部梅毒发病数不足0.2例，而2005年每10万人中仅一期和二期梅毒发病数就达到了5.7例。

《南方周末》引述国家性病中心龚向东教授说，某省一项调查的初步分析发现，星级宾馆等高档娱乐场所的“小姐 ”梅毒发病率约为0.9%，歌舞厅等中档场所为4.2%，发廊、出租屋等低档场所“小姐”的梅毒发病率则超过10%。

卖淫问题一直被中国政府视为道德甚至是政治问题，因此对性买卖的除罪化仍然处于讨论的阶段，无法付诸实行。一些地方在扫黄时，把“小姐”携带的安全套作为卖淫证据，造成她们为了避免被逮捕后遭罚钱而不使用安全套，增加了性病和爱之病防治的困难。

从商务部及卫生部推出《规范》来看，当局似乎开始从公共卫生和商业角度审视卖淫活动。中国政府显然意识到，性病及爱之病的传播所带给社会的危害，要比卖淫本身严重得多。这种摆脱意识形态看问题的务实态度，无疑代表着治理观念的进步。

the place is ok la. here's the story.

138 for shower fees
638 for standard stuff
880 for extra water treatment

i bargain with the manager and managed to get it down to 600 nett for everything.

i was picky, at least 10 girls were called to parade in my private resting room, 2 at a time.

manager says none of their girls are >25 years old. and are at least 18 years old.

i choose one and opted for the 880 which was down to 800. the water treatment is exactly what you have in shower jobs performed by the japanese....followed by EXACT steps on the dry bed....SOP thereafter...a full 90 min or 100 min if needed.

manager suggested a double for 1200 if i wish but i didn't try.

bros can go and check out the place. quite an ok place and friendly manager.

girls are mainly from dongbei. got big got small, got tall got short...all sorts to choose from!!

YPH boss has a few outlets, beside YPH, they are 汤岛, 海浪 and 皇宫. Former manager of YPH has switched to 皇宫, so I myself is not aware whether the Lao-Jiu still enjoy the previledge at YPH. If not, I think the price is more or less standard liao. Or else, those bros visited should verify this.

The supposed main relocation place of the shops from Xiang Yang Road is now under the technology Park in Pudong. Take an MRT line 2 down to KE JI Yuan 科技圆 Station and on the same level you exit the MRT gate, you are in the New Xiang Yang.

Enjoy, but now i think less sellers as they do go home on CNY as wel.

The other location that they have shifted to is in front of Yaohan but behind Times Square. It is a "Multi Storey version" selling the same old stuff. I heard some are in Puxi at Shimen #1 road as well but have not been there.

For your question, I think ever since Xiangyang Road Market was closed, a few places were trying to woo both retailers and customers.

From my understanding, there is one at 金汇路 next to 吴中路, not sure abt the exact name and location, you can try to visit the HC there after shopping. Another one not far is at 虹梅路 next to 延安西路. Another ons is located in Pudong near to 科技馆 subway station.

when i was there last year, i saw soooo many pretty girls, its amazing! so while i was in sh last week, i got a few HK friends and we arranged to go for drinks at bf last friday.

then the lady closest to us will say.."if you come early you will also be able to get that seat"..."ok, next time, we will come early but for tonight, we can only hid at the corner upstairs!" ....thats the ice breaker and i introduced myself to the respondent and slowly, we got introduced to everyone else there....we spent the next 10 minutes shouting into each other's ears plus a few drinks.....its good to approach a table with at least some guys (in minority) because the ladies wont few that they are "victims". "we are going to walk around the place, its not good to leave our friends up there alone....if you ladies and guys dont mind joining us, please come over"....it not nice to invite immediately as it will make them appear "cheapo" if they follow us upstairs, so got to give a hint....so we "ciao" with the rest and move out of the corner and walked around the place to see see look look.

we went back to our seats and our friends asked us what happened etc....all i can say is.."i cant even hear what they are saying!" but it is clear that they are receptive to us.

after 10 minutes of settling back in our seats, we took up our position at the ledge, waved at the ladies and beckoned them to come over...and yes, it was easy to get them to come over to join us!!!!! we had drinks and had fun and exchanged numbers with all four ladies...2 shanghainese, 1 chongqin and 1 dalian...hmm....

we later realised that they are university students having a good nite out and that they just got to know the 2 guys there. but then it is true, for the few hours we were there, we have witnessed many "cold approaches" by men trying to know those pretty ladies. some can be really persistent! so it seems that it is a culture. btw, please do not mistake bf as a pick up joint, its just that the ladies there are in abundance.

anyway, seems like the ladies are like to mix with men around 30 plus, not too old looking and fun loving...it was a good session after that and much fun to be had.

yes, the min expenditure is for the space, irregardless of 2 or 20 pax. so once you order 2 bottles and above, you will hit above RMB 1000 and remember to ask the manager for complimentary fruits and beverages! but then my RMB 1000 was discounted because i was there late. so it could be higher for normal times.

anyway, there are 2 sections; the place is divided into 2 areas - each has its own crowd.

if you wish, you might go to the bar counter if you cant get the tables. you can get a good vew at the bar counters and you can almost always chat up your neighbours in a mild way by giving them a toast, both girl and guy...it'll be as fun

Lately I have been patronising the Ah Long Bah Kut Teh for substitue to it when my craving for homeland food is concerned......not that the Bah Kut Teh is not good enoough but at times really need another different kind of homeland cuisine though.......

The only likely reason is that CNY was around the corner during when u visited Jinsedadi.....or it could be the numerous new KTV joints that were sprucing up everywhere else... take for example Golden Globe Pinochio KTV I mentioned herewith. Not sure if it's been mentioned in here before, I only found it recently myself but there's a decent soapy just near the Shanghai Hotel.

Official address is 5F, 209 North Wulumuqi Rd. It's right near the corner of Nanjing Lu and North Urumqi Lu. Get taxi to drop you off on that corner, walk down Urumqi a little and you'll see a building with K OK, some Karaoke place and the word SPA above the door. Go to the 5th floor, there are a couple of touts who will call the elevator for you so you will know you're in the right place. I think the other part of the building is Agriculture Bank or something like that.

Instead of the communal changeroom and shower scene you get your own room where you change into your shorts etc. Then they take you to a room with a one way mirror where you choose your girl. I was there at about 2p.m. and there were 5 girls all about 6 or 7 imho. I chose girl 27 - don't ask me why..just intuition.

She comes around the corner and takes you to your room..each room is a shower and wet-bed and then a glass divider on the other side of which is a normal bed.

Fantasy Gardens as recommended by the old hands in shanghai is excellent! I follow the directions and recommendations as stated here in the forum and bingo! Everything when as smooth as silk.

Pricing is excellent at 600RMB per session and each of the session is for 80 mins. Most places i have been to are only 40 mins in lenght. Place is decent and clean but most important, some of the girls are pretty.

Pricing is excellent at 600RMB per session and each of the session is for 80 mins. Most places i have been to are only 40 mins in lenght. Place is decent and clean but most important, some of the girls are pretty.

Actually if you have the right chilli sauce the local chicken also can lah just that the rice is not the same but think about it as being more healthy. If really really desperate can still eat at Crossroad but not as good that all lah but it satisfies the cravings for a while.

Never liked the service & food quality @ Crossroads, Raffles City. Personally, think the service & food quality @ Gubei Carrefour is much better.

The chicken rice is pretty good.

I have a friend who likes the chicken rice at a Singapore restaurant (can't recall the name) near the Shanghai Exhibition Center (the one between Nanjing Xili & Yan'an Xi Lu.

In Shanghai it is still very safe to travel alone, however dun anyhow go into KTV or other places following the "promoter" on the roadside (for example Nanjing road). it will then cost u a bomb, and I meant a big bomb for even just a drink.

Chionging alone is what we sg normally do..... maybe we too shy. but come on we all guys going thru flied with our M16 is common in our NS life so charging into the fantasy world also can do alone and with buddies around = more fun.

Had some time to spare and decided to visit FD. Since I speak little/no Chinese, I called and asked them to explain to the driver where it was located. For the benefit of those who would like this convenience, the number to FD is 52650999.

Or you can try the branch of YPH, located at Song Shan Road (嵩山) next to HK Plaza, Shanghai Palace (上海皇宫), price should be the same as YPH @ RMB600 as recommended by Lao-Jiu. Ask for Manager Wei (魏), according to him, there are 2 packages, menu A and B. May be you can find out the differences and give us a FR here.

For hidden charges, I prefer to let it remain hidden, bcos normally you need extra money to find out the hidden charges.

I reckon on a sunday you can go anytime, but it would be the best to go in the afternoon as it might not be that crowded but being a sunday, I reckon there won't be much people at night as well as they have to work the next day. It's only my assumption as I never been to one on a sunday before and I would normally go in the afternoon to avoid crowd and more selection of girls.
