Saw a few really can fuck up their ass and my didi was throbbing already...
Sat down and was introduced to my friend's friend...they already had a few girls in the room...than in came the mother...it's been a while and she still looked damn good...gave me a hug and took the opp to carass her butt and press her chest against mine...asked me what type I want and told her...than my friend suggest I go with mother to the main room where the girls sat and wait..I thought why not...Upon entering the room, DAMN...SO MANY PUSSIES!!!
By the way, the asst mother also fucking solid ...long hair, a bit tan and got CFM look...
Damage: not too sure as my friend foot the bill
Girls: Over 500
Sound System: Solid
Tip: RMB300
After Hours: Up to u to neg. but mkt is RMB1000
Will return there again... :D
Anyway, to cut the long story short, no hanky panky or anything like that, but I ended up with an 18 year old... before you call me a cradle snatcher, she looks like she's 22, and well, really pretty... to me at least... haha.... She's been smsing me... who knows, maybe she wanna be my cow.... Anyway, the girl is from anhui.... I'll let you guys know how the progress goes along.... ;)

Bro,
Went back to the same nite club on the 27th (2 days in a role!!!)..but this time different girl...from AnHui, Heifei...bro WBTM is your "GF" also from the same place? Anyway, had more fun last night cause the girl not Shanghainese...at least I got to kiss my girl and press her nana last night...heehee...but I really still want to fucks the mother and the asst mother...if you guys go there, make sure you look for them...the asst mother is Xue Er (Snow Kid) :D and I bet u my last drop of cum that you guys would also like to stick it up her ass..hahaha...
Latest Info: A friend of mine just told me that there is a place about 2hr drive from Shanghai where a fuck cost only RMB100!!!! And it's a full service massage place...u get to shower and get to pick the girls too...something like KTV style...but to drive 2hr to dive in the hole...hmmm...don't know worth it or not...
Also, there is a small scale KTV along Zhao Jia Bang Lu, girl inside will give BJ for RMB300...that's inclusive of the tip!!! Anyway, I have yet to verify it's true or not...but coming from my other S'pore friend, I doubt he will BS me...Once I verify the establishments, will post here...
By the way, I will be on Leave of Absence from SHA for a period of time...will miss this land of lust and pussies...at the mean time, if you guys find any new kakas place, keep me posted...

This sort of place is normally along the outskirt of Shanghai, place like mei long. My local friend call this 123, 1-one hundred for tips, 2-two hundred for the room, 3-three hundred for "da bao", taking home. Well, have not verified about the three hundred service. Normally, the beer cost RMB10 per bottle at extra charges. If you were lucky you can get a nice MM. As my local friend used to say, this place is a transit point. New outsiders that are not so familair with Shanghai will normally work in this sort of KTV before they venture into those in the City.
Good Luck.
Cheers!

Hi Bros!
My first FR from Shanghai so please bear with me.
Stayin at the Sheraton TYP Hotel in Zunyi Nan Rd and spent the nite klkk along Zunyi Nan Rd, Maotai Rd, Gubei and Xianxia Rd! Long distance to walk but interesting as there are various BBS 'hidden' along the way. Somewhere along Zunyi road (near Yuping Sauna), I was approached by a gal asking me if I was alone and looking for some gals. She was quite aggressive but I just 'act blur' and brushed her aside. Crossed the street and she was still calling after me. Not sure if she is a 'permanent' fixture on this street.
Anyway, had my supper and stayed at McDonald's (Zunyi) for a while. Started chatting with a gal sitting opposite me on the next table asking for directions and claiming I was lost etc etc. She was pretty, nice figure but left after a while so no hit! Damn! Should have asked for her number but did not. Regret!
Went back hotel and met this pimp along the way. He offered gal at 800rmb and i laughed and told him no go. Went back to room but kept fascinating about the gal in McD. Cannot tahan so went down to look for pimp. Told him I have only 400rmb, but want to see gals first. He agreed reluctantly claiming business is slow, getting late etc etc so accept low this time. After about 10 mins, taxi came with two girls. Both are about early 20s with dyed hair but wrapped up in thick jackets so cannot tell figure. Selected the one with a fleshier butt and fair face and brought her up. Absolutely no problem with the hotel even though it was late. I am staying at the Club room not sure if that helps.
Anyway, she dimmed the lights and asked me to shower first. Told her i just did so she took hers. Good time for me to lock up all my valuables except the rmb for her. She came out in a towel and me was already butt naked waiting on the bed! She was a bit shy to remove her towel at first but later I realised why. She was 'SHAVED' like a baby! Wow! Have not seen a shaved pussy before and it was definitely something different. Asked her to blow me while I was 'handling' her body. Boobs was small and it was disappointing! (i'm a boobs man!) Butt was ok but her BBBJ was good. Powerful suction power and deep throat with me ramming it down her throat with her kneeling in front of me. Now comes the disgusting part! After the BBBJ, she spitted onto the carpet beside my bed! Yucks! Don't know why but it seems that they have the habit of spitting everywhere even if you don't cum into their mouth.
Pulled her up and proceeded to finger her while enjoying the view of a shaved pussy! Turned her around for a doggie and fucked for a while. She was moanin (probably faking it) and was quite wet. Pulled her hair back just like a Japanese porn movie and hear her squeal in pain... :D Pump for a while more then pulled my brother out, removed the condom and asked her to kneel in front again as I wanted to CIM. She obliged but said can blow again but must pull out when cumming. Said ok but i lied as I wrapped my hands around her head and rammed it into her mouth till i cum inside! Boy that was really nice as i could feel her resisting while i cum! (Blame it on the Jap movies!)
She spitted it out and started to complain and complain saying I am 'smelly man' and lied. I could see she was smiling so it was probably part of the game again. She washed up and wanted me to give her a teddy bear (compliment from the hotel) but i refused. I gave her 400 plus another 50 tips for the CIM. She looks happy with the tip and gave me a kiss before leaving. Told me to look for her again but i lied saying that i am leaving the next day. Also said she is a native shanghainese but serving only foreigners. Actually i couldn't care less...
Name: Cannot remember, Xiao something...
Age: prob 22 - 25
Height: 1.6m
Looks: 6
BBBJ: 8 (for the CIM resistance!)
FJ: 6 (normal except for the shaved pussy and hair pulling!)
Tits: 4 (A+ cup only, not my 'cup' of tea)
Damage: 450 RMB
So that's my first FR from 'Shag hai'! Wil be meeting up with the bros in this forum tonight so will post again if we have action tonight!
:p

Dear Bro Van Basten,
Not that I'm taking a long time but rather have been travelling up & down Suzhou & Shanghai every alternate days ma....moreover, getting the train tickets is pretty difficult as one dun alway get the exact timing on the train u wan to leave on la.
Anyway, my trips to Suzhou is coming to an end soon as my project is completing so for the upcoming days won't be travelling there so often anymore!
Last but not least, the tain 'stewardess' r not that good-looking so definitley I'm not 'sianing' any of them at all.............

Dear Bro vab basten,
Yes the Sports Hotel at Wen Ding Road should b the same as the one I mentioned here at Nan Dan Road for the fact that Sports Hotel is located in between Nan Dan Road & Wen Ding Road.
The cost of train tickets to Suzhou from Shanghai is RMB 15 per single way trip (Hard seats) & RMB 22 per single way (for soft seats).
Do take note that u should try to buy the trains leaving SHA to Suzhou by the index of TXXX as the T infront of any of the train leaving SHA to Suzhou stands for Express non-stop otherwise other trains timing leaving for Suzhou wil stop along the way at Kun Shan stop & other stops.
Express non-stop trains to Suzhou from SHA only takes about 50mins approx, whereas others trains might take up to 1.15 mins approx.
Hope the info above r useful to u bro.
Cheers & have fun.

Also, dun b folled by the old chinese saying that "Suzhou produces beauties of it s kind".......after numerous trips to & fro SHA & Suzhou, I'm dead sure that that Suzhou dun ahve any beauties as per the old ancient saying goes....I was told that most Suzhou gals who r pretty r either 'booked' by the Rich or have wander off to other states in China to make a 'better living' la....

Hello All,
I will be in SH this week...put up at the Hilton.
Much appreciate some tips, suggestions and places where I can get some entertainment.
Do all tour guides provide services? have this web site of tour guides, seems like they do provide extra services....is it safe to bring back to hotel room?
what are the standard rates...
I know too many questions, but I assure you all of FR's and contacts once I return from SH. this will be my contribution....

nearly bonk the chief train stewardess... cute gal... but thats another story
the head train captain given me his name card.. told me if i cannot get ticket can call him and he arrange...
cheers

Dear Bro,
Not a matter of money for that instance but rather u r not 'clicking' well with the environment here I presumed.....everyone sure to go thru this process bro. Furthermore, your work is not smooth sailing so that add up to your discomfort here bro.

Dear Bro Van Basten,
Not sure on whether the China Southren Airlines stewradess r pretty or not but for sure that the train stewardess r pretty la!
Have fun!
Cheers.
Regards.
Ahhh! Airline girls, once you're on Shenzhen Airline or Szechuan Airline, your life's never be the same again. Most are really beauty and friendly.
Suzhou? Have not seen too many pretty ones yet.
Hangzhou? Yucks! Pretty? quite. Attitude? very!

the airline girls cant compare la... of course they got some standard. in fact very high standard!
But I conclude: the pretty girls in China r all either bao by the rich men, the rest went "elsewhere" to make a better living already :D i think it's true!

I tend to agree with Bro Spyocope. In Hangzhou, even in the KTV, the girls have attitude problem. When two of my friends asked the girls to go out with them, their answer was the same, "We do not believe in One-Night-Stand". What the hack! I was there with them, my reaction was a loud laugh which surprised the girls firstly, and then upset them afterward.
We can still find some beautiful girls in Suzhou, and they are more polite and refined.
Just my 2 cent worth.

Hi Bro,
We tend to miss each other quite a bit. At the moment, I spend more time right south and west, such as Kunming, Chengdu, Chongqing and Xiamen. I will go to Shanghai probably starting from the month of Feb 2005 after the CNY in China. I shall try to catch up with you. This is because I will be in Europe (you know where) for the month of January 2005, sigh.....No KTV nor HC.
You know better than me the situation in China, and I am glad that you concur with my humble opinion and observation. You are right, Bro, working in those places, and the gals say that they do not believe in ONS. Even now while I am typing this message, I cannot stop myself smiling away. However, come to think of it, there might be some gals whp believe in Purity (are we tanishing them???). If it is, let it be so.... Just try to tell the Mamasan to bring in those who believe in ONS.... Hahahaha..
See you Brother, in Shanghai.
With warmest regards.

We believe there are a lot of them who lives and swear by ONS don't we? Been around in HGH for such a long time and I really think that life are getting better for them and they do have a choice to choose customers nowadays. Anyway, I always get the Mamasan to bring me those willing to die by ONS, if not dun waste my time.
Tends to enjoy more when we pre-define our requirements perimeter. :D

Depending on where you compare with. If it's to Shanghai, then GZ n SZ is definitely still much cheaper in living and chionging....
But frankly for most who are stationed or frequent GZ n SZ we dont really chiong in two cities. We chiong in Dong Guang where the costs and the "quality" are better.... It's quite near and convenient too...around half an hr by train or an hour or so by road depending where we're going.....hee....hee...
The other "major" problem is that b'cos it seem "reasonably price", many of us tend to overdo it and chiong more. In the end, our expences may be more than those who stationed in Shanghai or Beijing.....Sign.

Hi Bro,
Finally, you appear. It was a very pleasant surprise and good luck to me to be on the same plane to Hangzhou. Thanks to you and your partner who brought me to the KTV for a good experience. It was an enjoyable evening. The most interesting part was to have heard and over-heard, for the first time that ladies in KTV would use the word or phase "ONS". Although they have all the right to use it, I am just amused by it. After more than 10 years in China, it was my first time. I was glad that your brother allowed me to share in the cost of the night. I just believe in sharing and would not like to be taken as a free-loader. I hope he was not hurt by my desire to share. In brief, many thanks to both of you. You are in Hangzhou long enough that I feel that you are more than qualified to make the observation.
Thanks to you for the contact to the HC. Although I did not get a lady who is 36D, but rather 33A, the service was good. As you have correctly and accurately pointed out, the service did not go all the way, but the package was enough to allow me to have a thorough enjoyment. That place must be very famous, even the taxi-driver guessed right that I was there for some interesting services.
Hope to meet you again in Hangzhou, our Ambassador in Hangzhou. You are the man.
WIth best regards.

dear BIG BIG Bro,
Indeed we have missed each other the chance to meet up many atimes...guessed work schedule are really a pain to actually to coincide with one another!
Nevertheless, wil be looking forward to catching up with u here again after CNY comes Fbe' 2005 BIG BIG Bro....
I'm just as amused & can't stop giggling away should any of these gals in KTVs saying that they dun do 'ONS'...it's really simpLy all bull-s@#T! Ver pretentious of them, perhaps by saying these to us they think they might fetch more $$ should they nodd their head eventually to us on doing "IT"....
Anyway, I've NOT been cheonging for quite awhile.....really got sick of the KTVs scenes here & everywhere else in China...u been to one, u been to all of them...simply all the same (sama sama)...no big deal man bro eh, agree?
Othe tha entertaining clients which I've also cut down on that tremendously, I really can't think of another reason why I would end up going to a KTV again...
U have a good trip to the EU & c u soon bro.
Take care & wish u well....

Yes, Brothers in China,
After having spent a fair bit of my working life in China, I also seldom goto KTV, other than when I am in places that I do not know well enough (such as Hangzhou, Kunming, and very soon Lanzhou). When in Shanghai, I prefer to roam around Nanjing East Lu and The Bunds to sit down and watch people pass by. I also spend a lot of time in Shanghai in those tea shops (such as Tian Fu Ming Cha) to learn about Chinese Tea.
I am in the process of mounting a relative big project in Shanghai, and will need to spend some time there. I shall pm you all when I am there.
With best regards from Singapore

Dear All Bro out there,
From the info provided bro Jans 69, I have paid a visit to Yu Ping Hotel HC last week.
Well, it is not so straight forward as paying RMB600 like bro Jans 69 mentioned. At the entrace, we were asked that whether we know about the charges here and were told to look at the price chart hanging on the wall. Since all the bros have mentioned RMB600, without giving a look we stepped inside the HC.
After clean up ourselves we were shown into the VIP room, when the waitress left with the drinks, the OKT came, again asking us whether we know the charges here.
For standard 2 "clocks" (90mins) massage RMB700 without any special. I said we know the price here, he said no special service for stangers. We were asked to call "our friend" to call him, or else no special service. After 15mins talks, we finally agreed to RMB650/person and were told that 3 gals will be waiting at the room for us to choose. (We were there about 6pm)
Well, out of the 3, there was only 1 choice to pick as the other two were quite lousy. While for my customer, he said he was undecided to choose from 2 of the gals. Unlike SJB or NHH, they start with some simple massage on your back. After 20mins or so, they bring in their stuff.
Start off with dry lick all over your back and legs, then follow by hot and cold water. Follow up by AR, of course with the hot and cold water. Well the later process is the same as other 2 places BJ, then FJ. On the gal,
Age: 23
From: Northeast
Height: 1.6m
Looks: 8, cute
BBJ: 6
BJ: 7
FJ: 8
Tits: 6 (not big enough but acceptable)
My rating after visiting these 3 places:
a) facilities and decor
NHH: 5
SJB: 6
YPH: 8
YPH is more presentable that you can bring your customer to relax.
b) Ladies Dressing & Standard
NHH: More exposing, figures: Generally OK, 7~8.5
SJB: Stadard, figures: generally not so good, 5~7
YPH: Uniform, standard: only first visit
c) Sevice
NHH: straight forward approach, finish and go type
SJB: similar but a little more friendly
YPH: good not so rush like NHH or SJB
I have not been to NHH for quite a long time, so not sure about the current situation.
So for those you interested to go there, you have to call the OKT in advance about your visit, or else they may not serve you or charge you at RMB700. Let me know if you need his name & nos.
Also, if you are going there by Taxi, you may have to drop at the junction of Zunyi Rd and Tianshan Rd, driving you have to go via Changning Rd, turn into Zunyi Rd, as it is a one way street outside hotel, otherwise you will have to make a few turns to reach there.
Cheers!
Have fun and play it safe!

Well, good clean massage comes in the form of "blind person massage" 盲人按摩. I'm not too sure of the pricing, but there are quite a few that you can find around...

和中堂, 浦东花园石桥路166号tel: 58788839. The location is near 陆家嘴。 This place charges around RMB68 for a 1hr foot massage, by the Chinese standard, this is consider higher, though not highest. I know they offer body massage as well. Its a decent joint, so no hanky panky. If u need more infor, do pm me

Fristly a very BIG THANK YOU to Bro DumbAss for showing me around and the "ropes"..
A little background, been in HGH for 2 mths already without scoring at all... getting desperate. PM Bro DumbAss for assistance and assistance was given in the form of a gal from Shandong....
She is a KTV gal that the Mamasan introduced , 4 days old in the industry
Looks: 6.5
Figure: 5.5
Horny-ness: 8.5
( I am very picky on looks...)
When back to my place and started with some small talk.. abt her ex and work and why she chose this line instead... Was getting tired of being a gentleman so suggested that we go to bed!! Where got time to listen to sob story? Time is $$$
Shower: She insisted that she shower alone as she is very shy... I said "ok lo". Waited for the familiar sound of running water before undressing and asked to use the bathroom... hehe... Started to soap her and "feel" her all over... Moaning starts almost instantanously.
My Turn! Shit!!! She dare to say, wash yourself lo...! nevermind, later you will get it.
On the bed: Started with SOP foreplay... fingering/licking etc.. Very wet and squirming all over.. Wanted me to F%$& her immed, I said wait , I am not ready... asked for BJ, she said she don know how and don like cause taste and smell... I said ok lo, don BJ no FJ and continue the foreplay until she was starting to quiver, then she obediently engluffed my dick in her warm mouth, with a little grumbling of course. Tried 69 and with her knelt in front doing a BBBJ . She was licking and fingering herself while doing the BBBJ... alot like Jap AV man... with her eyes rolled backwards.
FJ is pretty standard except that i notice she gets real violent when I moved her on top... my fav position anyway. Finally unloaded and we both collapsed on the bed. She said she came twice... me don know cause still pretty intoxicated to take notice, more concern abt my own pleasure.
Rest for a while and chatted , wanted 2nd round but she say very tired already, PS by then already 3++ am.
Pretended to agree and hug her to sleep with the intent of arousing her again... it worked. Round 2!!
From the bed to the wall to a chair. The bedsheet was in a mess after we were done,
Chit chat a while and slept. She called me the next day and came over for night cap again... FOC of course. Started to mentioned abt "staying over my place for good", " aint I afraid abt her having keys to my place", " wat do I want for B/F"...
Thats my cue to say bye bye and don call me I will call you, the next morning of course.
Damage: RMB 1300 ( 1000+ 300 tips at KTV)
RTF : Unlikely, she don call me I don call her..

The rest needs "work" ! This is the only actual hole in one episode. The others are more like touch touch/ kiss kiss, then SOP answer... " too fast la, I am not ready! "
Been rather busy this week, but plan to work out a timetable to avoid last week's unfortunate episode from happening again. No joke to meet 3 girls on the same night... ended up going home alone. F%^$!!!!! :(

After a while, things started to get a little boring. By now, most of us would have our regular companion that cause us to subside below the 'limelight'. Today, the challenge is - how to make 'friends' without burning a big hole in your pocket or leave a long string attach to a relationship.

Haha... Well, I've only been to ktvs here four times, out of which three times were for work purposes.... Entertainment lah..... No massage for me as yet.... and well, since we're here for the long term, why pay when you can get free? hehe.... but then again, like how other bros will say, it comes with a price.... so what type of friends are you talking about? hahaha.... I'm sure you'll be able to find some, (and note that I'm saying some, not just one... hahaha) that well, you can work out with them for a no strings attached, low maintainance relationship....

Dear Bro thunderstrike,
I am not pouring cold water. Beware of what you read. Not that they are not true, on the contrary, the majority of them are true experience of brothers in Shanghai. Although recently I find that many of them have used the forum for private discussions, but some of them do contain useful information about the scene in Shanghai. Many of what have been written are successful events. Having in China all these years, my personal experience or based on those of my friends, for every success story, there are on average three unsuccessful ones. Please be ready to take downfall, and have the tenacity to wait for up-life.
Just my 2 cent worth.

Hi there,
I agreed with our totally with bro PTR. I have been here for quite a long time, longer than bro SGP69 but definitely not so 'laojiao' as those over here.
Lost touch with thing in SGP, over here it is easy to pick up gal; either at $ or foc.
There was an Amoh working in Beijing, going to Sichuan for project start up. met a gal there, thinking that he can leave the gal when the job completed in a few month. Who knows ended up the gal went to Beijing with her mother, waiting for the guy at his office everyday; until the whole office building known. The end of the story, the guy was fired and the company has since relocated.
Common one are those cheated at KTV, whereby once, I called the 110 (the nos for police here) to get my friend out of the KTV.
On the newspaper (not in Shanghai), there one KTV gal fond of a Taiwanese guy, her jealous bf ended up killing him.
I hope I do not to scare you of, definitely there are more fun here. My Shanghaiese friend has been f around either with internet friends or KTV gals, most of them are foc. I think so as some of the bros here, they keep a few cows. hehe!
Well, there is always risk involved. The cheapest one may ended up most expensive.
One thing for sure, you will not be lonely when in you Shanghai.
Have fun but play safe!
Cheers!

I cannot agree more, Bro Shengge. I know there are quite a number of brothers in Shanghai who choose not to be visible but to have their own share of funs. I have been in China more than 10 years with 6 years in Shanghai. I met some of them, and learnt a lot from them. We ought to be careful. Many of the brothers here have gone into dreamland and have forgotten where they were when a girl they had just met called them "Lao Gong" - Husband in Chinese. I failed to understand why many people fell for that, I cannot see how I could trust a lady who can call me Husband during the first meeting. I think to the ladies, most if not all, Lao Gong = RMB or best US$.
During some of my very few lucky moments of ONS in my earlier days, I had not come across any lady who would call me "Lao Gong" nor "Darling". They said that those were for their real lovers and eventually husband. Of course, I would not deny the fact that I did not, and still do not look and talk like Tom Cruise.
Dear Brothers, I am not so lucky nor handsome to have FOC for my humble number of adventures. However, experience tells me that nothing is really Free, it is when and how you have and will pay for it eventually.
Again, my 2 cent worth.
Sorry if I sound long-winded. It must be my age which is catching up, although I can still have some pleasure moments with some ladies when I am lucky enough..
Good Luck, and like Bro Shengge said "Play Safe"

yes i agree... in SGP everything is so safe n "standard" we take it for granted n it almost gets boring... but I also kena conned almost robbed inside a shop. up to now i still feel like it's really daylight robbery... guess this is nothing compared to wat some of the guys have experienced here... wah btw bro shengge u called 110? I so scared at that time i forgot the number :D haha no lah... to save trouble I didn't bother to report to police but i think I should have done so then...
so in China it's better to be not so trusting by default.

Wah read so many of yr post on meeting gals for ONS in Shanghai, thought maybe we should put together a list of best places to a pickup in Shanghai. Personally, I succeeded only a couple of times in the pubs where there are Waitresses sitting inside the counter, they will talk cork, drink and play dice with you. Not professional hookers.
But if you are able to sweet talk them and with the excuse you are foreigner, could sian them out for supper and then....hehehe...free bonk of course. Can only remember one pub off XianXiaLu called WHITE HOUSE I think. Cool colonial building with live band and not bad looking Pei Jiu mei mei. Think owned by Singaporean too.
So bros, start the balls rolling?

Dear Bros,
Since we are on the topics of con job, please allow me to relate one encounter of a good friend in Beijing (Sorry, this is Shanghai Thread, I know). It happened some years ago in the notorious bar street, "San Li Tuan" in the Chao Yang District of Beijing.
He has just been posted to Beijing, and hoped to have some action. He visited the Bar Street. On arrival, he was surrounded by people who tried to "pull" him into their joints. He finally got into one with the promise by the pimp that the KTV is cheap and that the tips to the ladies would also be low. He did not know that he was in for trouble.
Lead into a small KTV room and with a girl from the joint. The usual singing, chatting, touching, etc. went on for a short while. The KTV girl proposed to give her a Handjob in the room, and went to dim the light. She started with the proposed job, and half way through, three big size thug like guys banged open the door and came in. One of them said that such act (Handjob) was not co-done in the joint, and that he would be reported to the Public Security. My friend was scared, being alone to face the three guys. The thugs then said that they were willing to settle and asked for RMB 10,000. My friend replied that he did not have the money. The thugs then said that they would take Credit Card. My friend had no choice but to give the card.
A short while later, the manager (not one of the three thugs) came in with three slips, two with the sum of RMB 10,000 and one with RMB 8,000 (all Hand-written). The manager put up a show. He said that since they were all Chinese, he would destroy the two with the sum of RMB 10,000 and asked my friend to pay for RMB 8,000 (I never understand why they had to do this??). My friend then said he would report to the Public Security for the rip-off and was willing to risk of being charged. The three thugs then told my friend that he could do so, but before leaving the joint, they stopped him and asked him whether my friend wanted his left or right leg. My friend was really very frighten now, and finally gave in and signed the RMB 8,000 Credit Card slip.
Here comes the interesting part. My friend called the issuing bank of the Credit Card to ask them to stop payment. The Bank did and agree to cancel the card. But, whay my friend found out later was, when he had been issued the new card, a month later, he received a statement for the sum of RMB 8,000.
Dear Bros, lesson learnt? Do not go alone in a new place, do not yield to temptation of promise of cheap joints and low cost enjoyment. Becareful! I have told many of the young and new bros in China this incident, but still there were some of them who fell into such tricks. I have several such events to share with you, but they are of the similar nature.
I hope we shall all learn from experience. This is what I meant in my earlier post that for one successful event, there are on average three failures. This applies to situations which include having constant companion, ONS, etc.
It was great to share, and I sincerely hope that you were not bored by my humble post.
WIth best regards.

Can only remember one pub off XianXiaLu called WHITE HOUSE I think. Cool colonial building with live band and not bad looking Pei Jiu mei mei. Think owned by Singaporean too.
So bros, start the balls rolling?

Lao Gong = Lao Ban = $$$ ......... Very true.
You either pay with money, or pay with time and energy... probably with yourself being bitten in the end. Indeed, nothing is free.
I am a hopeless romantic myself, and like to imagine things when I meet a pretty girl. But I've learned to halt at the right time. An advice especially to those who are attached or married here. Don't do things that will hurt the girl, hurt yourself, and worst, hurt your partner. Clear cuts are the best.
I cannot see how I could trust a lady who can call me Husband during the first meeting. I think to the ladies, most if not all, Lao Gong = RMB or best US$.
....
However, experience tells me that nothing is really Free, it is when and how you have and will pay for it eventually.

It's ideed owned by a fellow Singaporean, I personally knew him in person as well.
Not that it's a spectacular place to be as the prices for drinks there r extremely expensive! The gals or GROs (Guset Relation Officers) r pretty yet sad to say to pay that kinda of prices which is equivalent to paying at a KTV, no big diff!
Just my 2 cents worth of opinions bro, sorry!

Dear Bros,
Since we are on the topics of con job, please allow me to relate one encounter of a good friend in Beijing (Sorry, this is Shanghai Thread, I know). It happened some years ago in the notorious bar street, "San Li Tuan" in the Chao Yang District of Beijing.
WIth best regards.
Yep i vouch for bro PTR! it's the same everywhere in china.... really u cant go cheong alone if u r new! too bad nobody warned me about anything beforehand so i was curious n shit! practically the same tactic used as described by bro PTR here... I think they all use the same method to rip foreigners. damn tulan when i kena rip like a carrot head.
but luckily due to a bit of luck i kena conned only a few hundred rmb phew :D
bro, if only u warned me 1st.. but funny leh... u said yr fren still had a bill of rmb8k even though he cancelled his card, that means the bank is in cahoots with the Ktv? sorry me dont really get that part...
n another thing... the ktvs arent really safe to cheong alone from the looks of it... but wat about those Pubs or discos where u just drink n chit chat with the pei jiu mm? generally less likely to get chopped?

Bros
To be able to chiong safely in China would require some common sense that one should practise wherever one goes. Always remember that there is no such thing as free lunch. For newbies, the safer way to have fun is to go to the more established joints, pay a little more but chiong safe. Unless u r wif some locals, otherwise, dont binge by going to the local joints that may seem cheaper.

Dear Bro,
Thank you for vouching for me. It was indeed a true incident. If I had known you earlier in my early days in China in Beijing, I would definitely relate the incident to you. I would have even volunteered to bring you around Beijing so that you would not be conned.
About the amount of RMB 8000, sorry that I had not been clear in my last post. My explanation would only depend only on my fading memory. I remember he told me that after cancelling the card, nothing happened. He was subsequently been issued with a new card from the same bank (based in Singapore). The amount of RMB 8000 appeared than on the Statement of his new card. I am not a "Bank-man" and hence am short of good knowledge how the system works. Please excuse me!
There is multitude of possibilities to con people, and they are only limited by the imagination. In the opened place, like in a Disco or a Pub, the chances you got conned could be less. However, I have heard of incident that people got conned in a Pub in Suzhou. In some pubs, there would be girls accompanying you, she might order drinks (and god knows what are in those drinks) or ask you to buy them drinks. At the end of the night, the manager of the Pub presents you a bill with exorbitant amount, what can you do?
I know better how to react in Beijing. Indeed, in one incident when I was asked by a friend to help him, I learnt from the Public Security there and then. When you are in such a place where you are asked to pay an exorbitant bill, for your safety, pay up. Do ask for receipt telling those people that you would need it for whatever purpose. After having left the place safely, go to a Public Security Station to make a report. The Gong An will then accompany you to the joint and deal with those guys. In the case that I was asked to accompany my friend, he got most of his money back (if my memory does not fail me, out of the RMB 6000 he paid, he got about 2/3 back). The manager of the pub even had the gut to explain to the Gong -An with a matter-of-fact attitude that there was a mistake in billing. This incident did not happen in San Li Tun, but at a small KTV in quite a secluded spot of Beijing.
In fact, I am not a good FR writer, and seldom post FR of my own adventures. I could probably write more reports of unfortunate incidents if I have the time.
As a foreigner in a Country, we ought to be more careful. I learn to be very humble and always behave in a low profile way. Please excuse me if I have painted a discouraging picture that China is very dangerous. In fact, every where is dangerous, Every year, I spend a good 10 months overseas, and I can tell you that this is very true. I am careful and always listen to good advice. Every bit of information that a brother gives me, I digest and absorb the lesson. Over 10 years in China, I have a lot of funs and a humble amount of good adventures, but very seldom got into any trouble. It is wise to remain as a Pu Tong Ren (like my nick) when you are overseas, especially in a place that we cannot rightfully call ours.

What Bro junior_cannibal said is very true. I would add that "Unless u r with some brothers here who have been there long enough, do not venture into joints that promise cheap and fun".
In Shanghai, outside the Ramada Hotel facing the Nanjing East Road walking mall, when you step out from the hotel, there will be pimps who will approach you and promise to bring you to cheap and fun joints with beautiful girls, etc. Do not ever follow them.
When you are at the walking mall, at times, two (usually) young girls would approach you, pretending to ask for direction. Do not pay notice to them at all, Whatever your answer is, they will try to strike a conversation with the final aim that you will follow them to a restaurant or cafe of their choice and buy them drinks or dinner. Once you are all in the cafe or restaurant, and have ordered food or drinks when you are not paying attention, they will disappear leaving you to pay for the bill the amount of which can buy tons of what you have ordered - see, another form of con job.
Anyway, do enjoy yourselves when you are in China. A peice of old man advice, please do not hurt your love ones at home who might have to attend to the family (children and/or your parents). In time of distress, they are the ones you can fall back to, but not those who call you "Lao Gong" after few encounters, or worst, one encounter.

Dear Bro PTR,
I see that you are really an Old Bird in China, not only Shanghai. Like many other bros here, I don like KTV unless for business purposes. These days, I prefer to bring customers to HC recommended by bros here, after all, that is what they are after for.
To add on to your list of advise, don ever trust those taxi driver that can bring you to some nice place as well. Formerly, (as shown in the TV) there was taxi driver always waiting outside the peace hotel; picking passengers from mainly foreign chinese, whereby they know most of these people like to go KTV.
Same old story the gals will order special drinks, the most common one is red wine with sprite whereby not known to many foreigners. Well, after you got cheated, there were even people to make sure that you gone back directly to the hotel then making police report.
Well, just need to be extra careful whenever you are outside.

Dear Bro DumbAss,
It is always nice to hear and learn from you. I know in HZ, you are the man. You know, once I nearly went into a trap when I was strolling around West Lake when a young and attractive girl approached me telling me that he was a tour guide. After one minute of chatting up, I found that I know better than her. Later, my friends told me that she could be aworking lady and probably there to con me.
I was trying to arrange a trip to HZ as I do not know the place well enough, and also hopefully to learn from you about HZ. But, I failed as I need to go to Kunming, Chongqing, Chengdu and Xiamen. If I go to HZ, I would need to apply for a VISA, This is also because I forgot that my one year VISA has expired and did not apply for one.
You are very right, Bro, I seldom post so much in one go. I have just finished two big reports and commented one more submitted by my staff, and felt kind of Burnt-OUT. Therefore, I have decided to write and read different things. In addition, I also hope to share my humble experience. I think you would agree with me that over the year, you and I must have seen many unfortunate incidents in which many of our country men were conned, and sometimes, families broken. I suppose I would like to do my bit, if not for our country-men, it would be for their families. I am also glad that you share the sentiment that family is really what we should precious.
Looking forward to see and learn from you in Hangzhou again. It was a fantastic experience to be with you during our last encounter. Please send my regards to your partner.

Dear Herr Van Basten,
Yes, many PRC ladies, but not all, have the hidden agenda. I suppose we cannot really blame them as they market their youth for money, or in search of a rich foreign husband or "Carrot". One lady, whom I know for quite sometime, and was working in a KTV in Chengdu, told me once that , or rather advised me that we should not play game with them. She said that she worked in these places by marketing their youth and body, and knew exactly what they wanted. She added that she would go all out to achieve what she set out to obtain. So brothers, I agree with her, we cannot beat them in this game. Even with my humble knowledge of them and China, I am also careful and fortunate enough not to fall into any emotional traps. Like Bro DumbAss said, we have a family and beautiful kids at home in mind keep our mind clear.
You mention that you cannot hurt anyone because you are not married. I beg to differ. Please do remember that hurting yourself is bad enough to hurt those back home who love you. However, if you claim that no one loves you at home, then I rest my case.

Dear Bro Shengge,
Thank you for the compliment. I am not only an old bird, but an old man as well. You need to be old to be a real old bird. Haha... No kidding.
In fact, taxi drivers form an important source of con men. I always avoid them, since my first day in China over ten years ago. In Beijing, they are even able to infiltrate into those 5 star hotel, wait around the lobby (especially near the lift landing) and try to ask you to go with them with the usual promises.
Must well share with you all what I have encountered last months in Shanghai and Beijing. In the hotels where I stayed in these two places, I was asked by very well dressed ladies (sexy looking, but over the prime kind, i.e. late twenties) who approached me and asked me whether I wanted massage. Needless to say, these were the working ladies. Young brothers here might not be approached, I was approached probably they knew that I was over the prime myself many many years ago. These incidents happened all in 5 Star hotels. Of course, I did not take up the offer. Who knows what they were up to.
Said and done, it is better to have a girl from a good KTV, as should there be any problem, you can go back to the Mamasan and make a lot of noise. The girls are usually more "behaved".
I did have one bad incident during my early days. I picked up a street walker one night when I was feeling horny and lonely. I was not careful to have left my wallet in the pants outside the bath room. After the business, she asked me to go for shower and that she would do it later as she wanted to rest a while before taking a shower. While taking the shower, I heard light noise. When I came out, I found that she was gone. I also found out that the stack of RMB 100 bills in my wallet were gone too. I lost around 900 RMB, not so bad. Anyway, I was supposed to pay her RMB 300. The loss was RMB 600 and one bottle of expensive orange juice from the mini-bar. Lesson learnt.
Well, need to go to work now.

Hi to all Samsters!
I strongly agree with the veterans on this board. Nothing is "FREE"! It's just a matter of How? When? How much?
As for those ?? all around China.. let me assure that they do exist and they don't just "cater" to foreigners with passports.....
Recently, I have a SH friend who went to a BJ "KTV" whereby they were promised "no holds barred" action and affordable prices...and things got pretty hot.. one of them started to have S*X and in came a few bouncers with scars and tatoos... they were made to pay Rmb10,000 each before they can be released... scared the SH*TE out of my friend and his buddy..
Moral of the story is... nothing is free.. and even when you want to find a cheap avenue for release.. you might just end up paying A LOT MORE! Beware all Cheongsters.. please stick to the tried and tested paths laid down by the veterans and you can't go very wrong. Don't be too gung-ho and wander too far off.... it's not worth it....
Shanghai is relatively safer.. just go to the bigger and more established KTVs and you'll be ok. Or visit those HCs as other brothers have recommended.. maybe not so exciting but definitely safer...
Just my 2 cents worth...
Cheers! ;)

I do know of brothers in Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, Chengdu, etc... who have girl friends. Some of them keep the ladies at their own home. But, if I may do a statistics on these people, the majority of them are Old Birds and, know exactly what they are doing. They know where to draw the line. If one is confident enough to handle the situation, he may go ahead. I had my fair share of such adventure, but I had never maintained any one of them. I gave them expenses only when they were physically with me, and not when I am back home in Singapore or in Europe. An incident that I have encountered. I was with this Harbin girl (Bro ShanghaiSGP69 knew her and could not stand her). She had a relatively new handphone. When she saw that my friend had a Motorola V70, he asked me to buy one for her. Of course the answer was no. What she did next was to smash the phone on the ground and told me that her phone is spoilt and would need a new one. I said no, then she said that I would not be able to contact her. We were in Shanghai then and her house (her own house) was in Beijing. I told her well, "Too bad, you need to go wherever I go!". She stormed away, and that was the end of the relationship (I supposed I had given her eough money to take a plane back to Beijing). I had a good laugh over this incident. Bro ShanghaoSGP69 was happy that I was not with her anymore. Right? Brother? Anyway, that was 3 years ago.
Let me relate another incidents (I have many of such stories to tell). A friend of mine called me one day in Singapore and asked me for a loan. I was surprised as he had a good and stable job. He also had (since divorced) a very capable wife who was (or is) earning as much as he did. I always envied them as to me, with one son in their condom the couple was indeed a very enviable pair. Well, what happened was he was posted to Beijing in the previous year for about 3 months. Out of boredom, he started to go places and came to know a lady. One thing lead to the other, and he started to "keep" and "maintain" the girl. The girl obviously knew what she wanted, and asked him for an apartment and a monthly maintenance of RMB 10,000 (that is S$2,500), not counting the instalments for the apartment. When that friend of mine called me, he was still maintaining her. I tried to wake him up by reasoning, but I received a standard answer,"Oh, this girl is different!" A text book answer that everyone knows and yet falls for it. Of course, I did not lend him any money as I think he should learn to pull himself up. However, I continue to talk to him. Fortunately, he had left the girl after few months, and is now back to work. What he had paid from this lesson was his precious and lovely family. So, dear brothers, beware... beware... Never accept the answer, even to yourself or use it yourself "This girl is different!". The moment his sentence surfaces, go and have a cold shower first, and think hard.

Hi Bro,
Even DumbAss who knows me well is also surprised that I wrote so many posts. Well, I must be out of my mind. Recently, I spend everyday of my time writing proposals, reports, Board Papers, etc, and reading papers submitted by others to me, request for approval, etc. I am quite sick of doing any work. Therefore, I turned to writing. Another reason is because, recently, I have another friend who fell into a trap because of a lady in China, and had resorted to borrow from Loan Shark. I feel that brothers here should learn to control ourselves and make correct judgement. If my posts are useful in this regards, I would be very happy.
Looking forward to meet you in Shanghai in 2005, probably immediately after Chinese New Year. You see, family comes first. Oh yes, this time in Shanghai, as we had agreed, we shall go to serious and proper Tea Houses to try out good teas, and not KTV nor HC for action. I am kind of sick of the scene in Shanghai, that I know well, thanks to your guidance.
With best regards.

Dear Much Admired Bros,
All of the recent postings are indeed a eye opener for the rest of us.. Yes, this is happening in CN, but it is everywhere I guess... even here in SG.. Luckily I had a cold shower or 2, and ended something I could not afford, or afford to lose what I had at home.. Thanks again for your invaluable wisdom.. Hope to see you all when I get to CN for my holiday! :D

I tried to wake him up by reasoning, but I received a standard answer,"Oh, this girl is different!" A text book answer that everyone knows and yet falls for it. What he had paid from this lesson was his precious and lovely family. So, dear brothers, beware... beware... Never accept the answer, even to yourself or use it yourself "This girl is different!". The moment his sentence surfaces, go and have a cold shower first, and think hard.
My 2 cent worth :o
Well, the harbin girl, most northeast girls r like that aren't they? Tall, fair n hot! attitude hot n sexy even, gan ai gan hen!
actually u know there's another answer i have heard of.... the guy didnt say the girl was different.. I have a feeling he know wat he was doing but he a bit hopelessly CMI already. i felt he knew the girl's intentions, n he said quite hopelessly, "I know la... but she's lovely. she's so lovely that even if my $$$ is cheated by her, as long as the sum is not too big, I will gladly let her cheat my $$."
wa... I don't know man... he's siao liao but still he's sane. amazing. no wonder they say ying xiong nan guo mei ren guan. Even heroes find it difficult to get past the trap of the beauty. ;)

Dear Brother,
Thank you for the compliments that I am not sure whether I merit them. We are here to share, aren't we?
The Harbin girls are hot in sex and in temper, you are right. But most people think that they are very straight forward, which is very wrong My humble experience told me that they are also very scheming. This same girl, in several attempts, using ways that I can write about in more than 10 posts, to get RMB150,000 from me. Luckily, I am an old man, and still sane enough to avoid being cheated. But, said and done, I did spend money on her whenever we were together, simply because amongst all the ladies I had in China, she is still the best in making love. I am glad the relationship is over three years ago. Bros SGPShanghai69, Looksee, and several others know the girl, and they perfectly understand what I am saying. On the whole, I have several unpleasant encounters with Harbin girls that I will write about later. Some fellow samsters in this forum said that I am not normal nowaday, as I keep posting. I will try to return to normal.
"As long as the sum is not too much" - this shows that your friend knows what he is doing, assuming that the amount is within his means. The catch is does one know when to stop. It is a very difficult thing to do.
My 2 cent worth
Got to go to work already. :(
and then go Sing-Song 10 hours from now. Hahahaha........ :D

PuTongRen is absolutely spot on!
ALL Chinese girls (well.. at least 99%) are scheming, regardless of region. It in the culture and blood. In order to beat them in their own game, we have to be extremely cautious and once one gets even remotely attached, it is time to leave. Most of us have families back home... these women, no matter how good they treat you or perform in bed, are just passing phases... families are different... they will stick by you no matter what.
Shanghainese are the worst I've encountered so far though. Being brought up in a highly materialistic society, money and other agendas are always on their mind. Young girls are told by parents that they should look for guys with a lot of money and not guys who would love and take care of them. This came out from the GF of my friend... who is now hopelessly trapped... god bless his soul. He kept thinking "She's different... She's the ONE!" Well.. I can only hope beyond all hopes that he's right....
Horror stories I have heard many. It never cease to amaze me what these women can bring themselves to go through in order to achieve their aims. One woman spent many years with a Singapore guy before getting married, and right after getting her Singapore passport, 180 degrees change! Can you imagine the shock of the guy? People always say, time will tell.. but how long before it will tell? I dare not say anymore.. it's just to scary to think about it...
KTV girls... hundred foot pole distance.. if paying to screw, that's fine.. anything more.. NO WAY HO SEY!! These are a "special" breed, skilled in the art of draining a guy dry. The maintenance of this specific species is extremely high.... if they zero in on you... beware, as they will do everything within their means to get what they want.. you being married or not is not a point of consideration...
I think only veterans (Bro PuTongRen and other fellow "Chinese-fied" Singaproeans) have the ability to identify and control their women and their lives in China. Not to put down other Samsters who visit China "frequently".. you may think that you have control, but note that China is a place where they place Wei-Qi.. unless you have a full grasp of what's going to come, it is impossible to predict and the results can be shocking and sometimes painful. What you may think is "Control" becomes a mere illusion.
Anyway, I love this forum and all the Samsters who contributes so unselfishly to provide would-be Cheongsters and seasoned ones alike with valuable information and the much needed avenues for "release"... WAY TO GO!!!

Dear Bro PTR,
Couldn't agree more with you. Just to share what I have experienced and encountered here.
Well, I did not have the opp to know about this when I was here in late 97. Things were very tough in the beginning, extremely. Also, I did not go KTV except pub. The one that was most well-known during that time was the pub&ktv at the Galaxy hotel. Hundreds of gals, asking for tips immediately saying price is RMB150.... for one hour. @#x$*@! Of course, I asked her to FO. Some other pub, gals practise hit & run tatics, chat with you for a while asking for a drink at RMB50, keep the ¥, a little while they left. I see these still happened at pub in HengShan Road.
Tips of KTV has since gone up from RMB200 to RMB300, thanks to many "generous" new bros from overseas, especially those from TW & HK. As I do not see, their service standard has increased, rather in the opposite direction.
One story to share, when my SGP friend was here alone about 3 years back. Like many other bros he got plenty of opportunities to be-friend with those KTV gals. He ended up going out with a 'mami', staying at his place. Always fun in the beginning, later, she will ask for branded stuff. Lucky for him was that, he returned to SGP few months later and ended up changing his SHA mobile and apt tel. I saw the gal before and 3 of us have meals together before. What surrprised me was that, more than a year later, she can still remember my daughter birth date. May be she is good at her job. Sometime asking me where my friend was.
One incident I saw few years back at a property agency, a young gal with her mum and a jap man, older than the mother; wanted to buy an apt. What shocked me was, they have problem to communicate with each other. Most of the time, the salesperson has to help through broken english.
Well, I am not so old and experience enough to give advice like many other bros here. :p :D just sharing some story.
Cheers!

Dear Bro Shengge,
No matter how inexperienced one is, brothers here will appreciate every single bit of good advice and information. You have correctly described the scene in Shanghai now and three years back. What you said still happened in pub like Hen Sang lu, Mao Ming Nan lu, Fu Xing Garden etc. The same old tactics of buying a drink for RMB 55, asks for RMB 100, and the girl keeps the change and disappears. I still see it happen when I am in a Pub. I just ignore them and have a laugh to myself.
Bro SGPShanghai69 is stationed in Shanghai, and ask him for good advice on where to go and the "House Rules". He is busy and he might not go with you, but I am sure he will give you good pointers. Do it before I drag him to join me in Tea tasting that I am currently in. I will stop drinking, and in fact, partially stop already. Try to live longer, as the maximum length of time that I can still make love to a girl might well be 4 to 5 years. Then I will retire, say, Suzhou.
My 2 cent worth.
Need to go for meeting now.

Thank you Bro Van Basten for enjoying reading our postings. I can still write even when I return to Normal. I have a lot of stories to tell, but no time to write. It is because of some reasons that I am staying back in Singapore, or else I should be in Europe now. From December 2004 onwards till end of March 2005, I shall be in Singapore for a total length of three weeks, two of which are for Chinese New Year - See, Brother, Family above anything for me. When I am overseas, other than in EU countries at which I have my own office and hence broad band access, it is expensive for me to go onto the net for reading and posting. Nevertheless, I shall try my best. Sorry, brothers, you must have seen that I only write bad experience, and have seldom write good one (except the one in Xian, oh.. the Hua Qing Garden Bath house...)
About Suzhou, I love the tranquility with sprinkles of night-life. I enjoy strolling in the famous Parks of Suzhou, sipping good Chinese Tea - sigh... must be the age. Then, at night, with some brothers working in Suzhou, go for occasional night life. I have a regular lady working as Accountants in Suzhou, so there is really no need to search for one. When she is inconvenience, she would make other arrangements for me. Nice, isn't it. Treat them with respect and they will reciprocate your kindness - Universal Laws, right?
Suzhou ladies tend to be more refined, and for a real Suzhou local ladies, they are not as $$$ minded as those in Shanghai. The life is less hectic then in other places of China. I really like Suzhou. Hangzhou is the turf of Brother DumbAss, I will leave him to tell you more. However, due to the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), there are more and more Singaporeans there, and it is no longer the same like before.
If you want to know about Suzhou, search the forum, there are some good posts on the scene in Suzhou. In my humble experience, Health Centre and Suana are less interesting in Suzhou. There is a Commercial Street at the New District, where you would have though that you were in Shinju-ku of Tokyo. All Japanese or Japanese-like joints. I have been there once with some Japanese. Well, I was of course side-lined after the hostesses fouind out that I was (and am still) not a Japanese. But there is a very nicely decorated KTV in the new district called Golden Paris with beautiful girls. The Mummy whom I know is a 38D and young, I was in fact after her but have not been successful. I could not find any Suzhou Girls in KTV in Suzhou, maybe I was not lucky enough. Nevertheless, my regular companion is a Suzhou lady, which is good enough for me.
I begin to spend more and more time in Sichuan area and Xiamen, after I have learnt enough, I shall try to contribute to this forum. Dong Guan is really another enjoyable place, and is a heaven for men. I spent more time there about three years ago, the scene should be the same, if not better.
Yet another meeting to go, and this one is about projects in China, which is more interesting than the one I had this morning. The word "China" wakes me up. Ha hahaha.....
With best regards and 5 hours away from Sing Song session.

Hi all bros,
after reading the recent posts by you guys, especially the wise words from bro PTR, I would like to share my views with bros here. I am in PRC for not very long but I think my 2 cents is worth some reading.
"Cheong" a word that we used so often, what does it really means ?? "swift attack" ? maybe, "conquer" ? maybe. But we never, in our mind, have the sense to retreat or handle the situation after we "cheong". That is why, i think, some bros ended in certain mess.
Therefore, i suggest, whenever before we "cheong", let's not forget to plan the "retreat" after "swift attack". We should all take it as "feng chang zuo xi" like the KTV gals.
Yes, many bros posted ONS and freebies, but how many actually tell you that after the ONS, they pamper the gals with gifts, mobile phones etc ... this not money meh ? Or after how many visits to the KTV, then they got the freebie. all that also money mah ...
so, yes, there are some success stories, but they are factually, far and in between. if cheong, KTV or bars, leave your feelings behind, the gals will say danny devito is a handsome man, don't fall for it. have your fun, pay up and go. this is the safest thing to do in PRC.
I had my fun, enjoyed my cheonging in PRC and have a loving galfren. for now, i must say, i am happy, except for work. bloody boss owe me 2 months salary liao !!! idiot !!!
ok, won't loh so liao ... ciao ...

Dear BIG BIG Bro PTR,
A very lengthy FR here but a detailed & well said one!
I couldn't agree better & more, more with u on the fact that Suzhou is really a nice, cosy place to be at....I personally been there many a times for biz trips but really enjoyed every minute of it even though it's only a short trip stay of maybe 1-2 days affair! The air is crisp & nice as well as compared to Shanghai.......
Knew a gal there after several trips, although that she's not a local Suzjou gal as she's from Guangzhou yet she presented herslef very well. She's working in Suzhou then as a dancer in a Disco....damn good figure she has I msut say.....yummy!
Anyway, u r the man here big big bro as u been around the Greater part of China more than anyone of us bros here so I would really love 2 read more on your experiences here....keep it coming man bro!
Cheers.

Dear Bro PTR & Shengge,
I would like to share my personal experience on dealing with situations as such whereby gals approaches me in a pub / disco (ie Park 97) to buy them drinks....
I usually would just tell them off in english that I dun speak any mandarin & that I dun buy strangers drinks at all! Simple & short....anyway they r out 2 con $$ & drinks for that matter so 2 me they dun deserve any shit respect at all....so dun bother 2 b polite 2 them at all la bros.......that's my personal ways of dealing with these local PRC gals here.......it works everytime 4 me & they will have NO choice but to back off eventually la!
Hope the above situation will be of some help to some bros here who encounter situations as such.....

I see that you live a good life.
I knew bro SGP69, as I am not so active and not like to bother other bros, so I do not know most of the bros here. Most bros here should be very busy here, how can I take up their time, who know they may be having something on. For bro SGP69, time should be more tight for him. How can I still disturb him. :D Anyway got to thanks for his greeting, though I do not celebrate thanksgiving.
Why only 4-5 years? Having too much already? Healthy life style comes with regular s*x activities. Mine is already not so healthy. :(
Anyway, thanks!

Dear Bro ultra88man,
You have touched on a very important word, Retreat. We should thank you for it. It is the retreat plan that we always omit, or choose to omit until we are in deep trouble. We charge forward without thinking about retreat is not a wise thing to do. Even a simple re-org plan for ourselves will help to cool ourselves down and think wisely. Yes, dear Brothers, whenever you charge, please have a retreat plan in place as well. I have not though of this, I supposed I did not go into deep problem because of my age.
There are many brothers in and out of this forum who talk about ONS, FOC, etc. I would like to believe that, except that the Brothers should also mention the expenses in other form. Just like what Bro Ultraman88 pointed out, mobile phones, dresses, cosmetics, etc,. all would cost money. I know also some Brothers who do this in Singapore. A make-love session with a girl in KTV may cost S$200 a shot. If the lady does not want you to pay and tells you that she wants to have a friend, the subsequent maintenance of friendship will cost you few times more than the price of one session.
In my early days when I was always hot, I believe in BPB, Bed her, Pay her and Bye Bye. Friendship does not come cheap with them. To be fair to the ladies, they are some of them who are really good and not out to con money from you. From all these years in this scene, I have so far met only ONE girl, strangely from Shanghai, who does not want money from me. She said she had a steady job in a Trading Company. I did not believe this kind of dealing, and bought her presents which amounts or slightly more than the market rate as she was really good to me.
Well, have to go, thank you for reading my post.
Hey hey..... One hour away from Sing-Song Session.

Still writing a lot. Heard from Bro Looksee you leaving for PRC next week. Will be back in PRC on 2nd week of Dec.
Anyway, Hangzhou is having more Singaporean these days. I might not be the only one around. Unlike 8 years ago, heads turn wherever I go. Everyone knows I am a 'Lao Wai' therefore everyone wants to cut my throat. Very good training during those early days. Come to think about it, I was so Naive then. I also went thru the "She's Different" period. Fortunately for me, I woke up in time to give myself a hit on the head and ask"WTF".
Now I pay for what is worth or gifts to compensate. When FOC, give presents. Don't owe them anything or give them the excuse.

Dear Bro DumbAss,
Yes, as we have discussed in length whenever we were together, all of us in China for a certain length of time have paid the "Tuition Fees", me included. I suppose we are trying our best here to relate our lessons (sometimes expensive) to brothers here so that there will not be any re-occurrence. You are right, there are more and more Singaporeans, not only in the turf that you know well, but also in other parts of China. Oops, you look like Lao Wei! yes, with your clothing and your look, I though you look more like a plain-cloth Gong-An than Lao Wei, hahaha... kidding of course.
Say an done, to me you are my precious source of information in Hangzhou. You are the man there! I have also learnt from you, remember?
I am putting up a paper for a collaboration to form a traingle in China for a High-Tech project where Hangzhou is one of the verticles. If the top people in my company agree, then I shall see you more there. It will be next February as my travel schedule is lined up until end of Feb 2005. Sigh... need to go and spend a month in my office in one of the countries in Europe (I do not wish to disclose where I am going, but you know of course). Yes, I am leaving for China next week, but to Kunming, Sichuan and Xiamen.
Keep posting and sharing with brothers here. But you also know that I do not post in when I am in China, not because I am busy in 'Cheonging", but simply due to other more important activities.

Dear Bro Shangaitan,
I love your post and your English. From your post, I guess that you must have spent sometimes in Shanghai. You have put more weight on what many brothers here and I have written about, i.e. the danger of getting emotionally involved with girls in China.
Like Bro DumbAss and I have said, we have learnt our lessons during our earlier days in China, and we are certainly glad to share with our fellow country men. You know Shanghainese like to describe foreigners as "Ba Zhi - Dog". For
Hong Ko ngers - Pian Ba Zhi (Cheater Dog)
Taiwanese - Hen Ba Zhi (Ruthless Dog)
Guess what for Singaporeans - Sha (or Sa) Ba Zhi - Stupid Dog. This is from a group of Shanghainese that I know for the past six years. Sad... Sad... I heard this few months ago, and have decided that we OLD brothers here should share with our fellow Singaporean to get rid of this not so honourable reputation.
We will try our best to share, and hope that the Younger Singaporean in China can also share their experience to warn others. We shall help to comment and give our two cent worth.
Do not drive too fast, as it will take a larger turing radius to make a U turn.
I hope you know what I mean.
Bro, I enjoy reading your style of writing, impartial and with proper English (although dotted with local 'lingos", but that is okay).
Thank you for the post and hope to learn more from you.
Dear Bro Shengge,
Why only 4-5 years? Having too much already? Healthy life style comes with regular s*x activities. Mine is already not so healthy. :(
TGIF
Hi Bro Shengge,
Why 4-5 years, that is because I am old, and also stubborn enough not to use medical assistance. Like one guy told me, the deterioration is not linear,
Last year, I could do twice a day
This year, I can do once every two day
Next year, I can do once every week
Following year, I can do once every month
Another year later, I can do once in evey three months
On the 5th year from now, I cannot even do once.
Hahaha..... You know, ask Bro SGPShanghai69, he would tell you that I am an old man. Maybe I should try Viagra or Cialis five years from now, maybe Tongka-Ali hehehehe......
I have a good life? Well, I am just preparing myself, as later, if I do not go to the usual night life again, I will at least know what to to in China, like Parks in Suzhou, historiical landmarks in Sichuan, Tea in Kunming and Xiamen, beautiful places in Hangzhou, etc.... I have enough of night-life, the experience derived from which I can write a book of short stories.
I will start to slow down in posting as I am preparing for another two week trip in China. Hope that I have not disappointed any brothers here.
Be wise in dealing with girls in China, they are clever and all trained to drain us (as well said by Bro Shanghaitan). Do not fall into sad trap again.

wow the mummy must be 1 tough nut to crack.. even bro PTR got to beat a hasty retreat! :p
n oh Dongguan... got a fren there but have not gone there personally...
always hear that Shenzhen, Dongguan area is a heaven for men. curious... any bros here can elaborate if got time?
maybe bros can share some pleasant experiences here also... since we have learnt much from the unpleasant ones....
sigh, i dont know... i m sure some bros have this feeling too... i have heard so many horror stories... but still, i have this unexplainable interest in this vast country. a niggling feeling that refuses to go away...
Bro Van Basten,
Yes, the Mummy was indeed gorgeous. If I were younger, I would have gone all out for her. wow.... you make my saliva flow already.
There is a very good thread on Dongguan, Macau and Zhuhai, please read the FRs there. They are accurate. The brothers there seem very cooperative and very knowledgeable. Please do learn from them. I was there on and off for about a year, I mean Dongguan. You will like it. I hesistate to write FR here as I am very sure my information will be very out-dated. What I do know is that, I had this habbit of going to How Jie area, in a KTV / Massage area in a hotel, get a girl, and brought her to a hotel at Hu Men and spent a night. I seldom had any session there and then. It is better to go there and lead by a brother who knows that place or a local, it could be less safe than in Shanghai. My good guide was the Chief Consultant for the building of the Highway and Bridge linking Shenzhen and Dongguan, and was well respected by people. I have even attended a dinner hosted by the Public Security Burean of How Jie.
About sharing good experience, I am sorry that that is not my strong point. What can an Old Man talk about what he does in Bed.... hahaha.....
The FRs posted by many people in the Forum, based on my humble experience, maybe at time exaggerated, but do have some truth in them, especially on the location, charges in the joint, service, etc. I find it hard to believe those FRs that claim that someone gets a session FOC.
Look, FRs on bad encounters are seldom exaggerated and have more truth, but those on good encounters, can at times, be exaggerated. Please do not flame me or cut my Rep-points, I need a positive number to post. If you want to cut my points, please leave 1 to 2 points so that I can still post. Do not bother to up my points, I really do not need them. I just like to share.
I have still a lot to write. But am toning down. I will disappear for a while, and if I have time, I will start writing again.
I have just written a FR in the thread on Chongqing, and SIchuan, you may read it if you like it.
Thank you all for reading my post.
Need to go now for my usual Bah-Ku-Teh breakfast with Nasi-lemak. I miss them as I am in town only about two months a year.

From my expereince, The South is indeed a cheaper place for "fun" be it short or "medium" term as compared to BJ or SH....The supplies is abundants and of many varieties is one and the lower cost of living is the other. There are also many "nice" satelite towns esp.in DG, competiting for the same piece of cake.
However, whereever we're in PRC, the same basis fundamentals attutide and common sense applied. I really enjoy reading the experiences of fellow bros. in this thread.
This is not the right thread to discuss the South. There are a few threads on DG, SZ, ZH and CP. Go to these threads and you can share their fun.
There's a sizable number of "fun" loving S'landers stationed in the South. Give them a tinker if you happen to be there, i'm they 'll be happy to show you the rope....

There're cheap hotels in Hong#### but their condition are bad. Since you are on budget, i would suggest you do NOT stay in HK.
Stay in SZ or DG instead. Around S$50 will get you a reasonable nice room. If you're on holiday...China...SZ, DG, GZ, ZH is more fun... anytime. Be it for food, shopping, chionging or just relaxing. That's where many Hkeys spend their weekends and free time now....

Dear Senior Bro,
Sometimes dealing with these gals, I prefer to let them know that
1) purely business entertainment (when I go KTV)
2) family is with me (that is true)
3) keep low profile (unless you have lots of $$$ in your pocket)
Mid of this year, visited one KTV, the gal called me day after, telling her the no.1 reason above but she still SMS, don know why. Later my friend visited the same place, know this same gal; now he has her house key having FOC every week and sometime additional shot during office hour. Good for him.
Most of these gals like to tell story about their situation, most of them related to $. As long as it is within your range it is ok, otherwise don try to be 'da kuan'.
By the way, I must say I am less experience compare to most bros here, especially coming to the size. For the mummy that you guys have just mentioned here, how can you tell is 38D? The gal I met recently, I have to ask her to get the size, may be my palm is too small, she said is wearing 36C, it makes me wonder how huge is 38D?
Catch up with you again.
Cheers!

Brother Shengge,
There was a website that talks about the measurement of cup size, I cannot remember the web address though.
Go visit www.best168.com, or is it 169. It is actually Hong#### site that gives data of the girls under their web-care. They give the size of the breast of these girls.

Brother PTR,
Thank you for your kind words. I'm think Suzhou was a much nicer place in the past, more tranquil, more laid-back but compared to Shanghai, less exciting for the younger folks.
As mentioned before, I believe that there is still a 1% out there that is worth falling for... but being only 1%, brothers with more to lose (like families, good jobs and huge inheritance) should steer clear as much as possible.
Sometimes, to get peace of mind, it is advisable to just Pay-and-forget. As you have pointed out, we Singaporeans are commonly known as "Stupid Dogs" to these women. Easy to manupulate and drain dry. But that is a trait that makes us stand out when compared to other ethnic Chinese. ABCs and BBCs are too brash, Taiwanese are too crude (Rich but like the PRCs, without much social graces). That's why we are such prized possessions in the eyes of multitude of gold-diggers in China.
I do visit KTVs once in a while but only when needed or when friends come around visiting. In the past, my wife could not take this but now that she's here with me, I get more trust from her and thus am able to make those occassional trips. I feel that guys with families should learn to trasure them. It is normal for guys to want to seek occasional thrills but bear in mind that these are just passing phases...
Used to visit pubs along Mao Ming Lu and Heng Shan Lu but now I find it so boring.. hunting is a basic instinct but as the saying goes, "Sometimes, the hunter becomes the hunted" and things can go badly out of hand. The results WILL BE disastrous. Why I say this is because, when emotion comes into play, regardless of what is previously stated when the relationship began, logic and rationality flies out the window in such a hurry, you won't know what hits you until it is too late. Started one as a fling, stating that we both have families etc etc and must not get emotionally attached but after spending a couple of months together, she began to quarrel with her family and that's when the bubble burst... managed to stem out the spark before it became a fire, otherwise, I'd be a swinging bachelor right now.. hahahaha :p
It's just not worth it...
I wish to apologise to all brothers out there for only writing about negative matters but having seen and been through my fair share of such things, I just wished to help others who only see one side of the moon.. the darker, colder side does exist...
If I happen to come across any "Fire-and-Forget" places or women, I'd surely share the info..
Just some thoughts...

Seemed like quite a lot of travelling around lately... I presume it that time of the year.. Christmas, New Year, Year-end Management meetings and Company DnDs, Chinese New Year.. everything happening in quick succession.
However, some China veterans would already have been acclimated to all this, if not even feel jaded by all these.. :)
Anyway, how can I increase my power rating so that messages that I post will not take so long to be published.. can any veterans please enlighten me!

Dear all "Shanghai-poreans"!
This is a very informative site for everyone, to be more exact every man, to visit should they need to know where and what to do when travelling.
The veterans do offer a lot of valuable advise. Brothers who are will to spend time doing "home work" prior to visiting only stands to gain.
Those of us based primarily in China tend to learn things the hardway (no pun intended). The longer one stays in China, the more disillusioned one gets. The star dust and glitter and excitement tends to subside after a while and when reality hits, so may take it in their strides while others might try to fool themselves that it did not actually happen... that will be silly...
Although I've never met Bro PuTongRen before, I find his sage advise and mature views highly enviable. Maybe one day we might be able to meet up and just have nice chat sessions.
Personally, I only visit KTVs in China on a stictly "Need To" basis as I find that it is a waste of money, having to pay tips and entertain those materialistic creatures of the night.
They will generally be nice if you:
1. Can help them meet their room booking quotas
2. Bring them out for expensive dinners
3. Buy them expensive gifts
4. Pay for rental and/or phone bills
5. Give them money to start a business or buy festive gifts for their family in hometowns
6. etc etc.. mainly $$ related
Some will at first seek "solace" in you... but eventually... when the time is right, I'm sure $$ issues will surface.....
Anyway, will try hard not to frighten anyone away from China.... need more brothers here.. :D
Just my personal view...

Dear Brothers,
I am flattered by so many complements that I feel shy to face you all. I am not putting up a false front pretending to be humble. We will only continue to learn if we tell ourselves that we have not learnt enough, and that others have something to teach us.
It will be my pleasure to meet you, Bro Shanghaitan. The next time I am in Shanghai, I shall PM you, and you can join Bro SGPShanghai69 and I for tea tasting session. I am just like you, I go to "entertain" the KTV girls whenever necessary. I am quite happy to stay in the hotel room, reading books and reading reports.
Your points on what those ladies expect of us are right on spot. I have met enough of them to testify. Like I always say, "Nothing is FOC, it is when and how you are going to pay". I have been giving advice to many people, and there are brothers whom I have never met, but would try to reach me from where they are (in Hangzhou, Suzhou, Xian, etc.) I always try my best to share with them my sad and unfortunate encounters. The usual statement is "This girl is different, and she is no after my money..." Granted that some of them might be truthful, but as I say, girls fall into this category are pathetically small. It hurts me deep inside when I see a brother, whom I have the opportunity to speak to, falls into the trap.
Let me recount any incident to you all. I once knew a girl from Dong Bei region in Beijing and became good friends, and I can tell you that she had put up a good show pretending not to go after my money. But, I was always careful, however, my guard was lowered by her beauty and the body (I was younger then). Once, when I was to be in the South of Chian, I called her from Singapore and asked her whether she would join me, and that I shall pay for the plane ticket (two ways). She agreed and told me that I did not need to pay for the transportation as we were friend (a big Bullshit, I found out later). She came and joined me, and we were together for few days.
The eve of my departure to come back home, as usual, I compensated her for the time spent, without the money for the plane ticket ( I was naive to believe what she said earlier). She turned immediately a black face, she complained that first of all, I gave her so little money, and secondly I did not give her the money for the airfares. Those brothers who know me would know that I am quite generous in my compensation. Concerning the air-ticket, she was the one who said that she would pay herself. I tried to reason with her, but she turned really ugly, telling me that her rate to accompany someone is RMB 1000/day and that I should pay for her airfares. Moreover, due to the fact that she was with me, she had lost a lot of income, blah..blah..... What the hell! Why a sudden change? The attitude was a 180 degree change, from good friends in Beijing to a money minded girl when in the south. Was it the weather? Fortunately, I was cool enough not to make a scene and yet was able to stand firm. I though she would storm out from the room, but she did not as it was night, and she would not want to pay for a room elsewhere. Nothing happened that evening, and obviously we did not talk to each other. The next day, when I left for airport, I was kind enough to offer her a ride, but she refused. I then ordered a taxi for her, guess what? she directed the taxi to the Railway Station. I cannot understand, one one hand, she told me she had bought two-way ticket, and now she was to take a train.
The moral of the story is that the PRC ladies are un-predictable, and $$ is the only thing on their mind.

Yes, we should not frighten anyone away from China, as it is now the land of opportunity. I have a humble advice to brothers here, to survive in China, we need to learn how to do:
Dancing with the wolves.

Dear Brother SGPshanghai69,
Thank you for your compliments. And it was indeed a pleasure talking to you earlier.
Dear Brother PTR,
180 degrees changes happen very often in China.. and that's a fact! These women are as unpredictable as the weather over here... At least in Singapore, we know that there will be showers in some areas EVERYDAY! hahahaha..
Let's have a nice little gathering early next year... those no frills type whereby we entertain ourselves (without having to pay "others").. It will be a meeting for like-minded people trying to (as Brother PTR said) dance with wolves... in packs!
China is indeed a land of opportunities but also a land filled with much treachery... the dangers are ever present and very very real... everyone thinks that expats are in China to be "slaughtered".... we're like walking RMBs, ready for easy picking... so it is very tiring surviving in a place such as this... but alas, we, or at least I, still need to make a living. So, like we say in Singapore, LPPL....
Oh well.. Come what come may... let's us just get well prepared in the mean time...
Cheerio everyone!

Dear Bro Putonren,
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. It takes courage to admit to the silly things we did in the past. However, there was one thing I did not quite agree with you, which was the statement below. You might have written it without much prior thinking, but still it sounds too much a sweeping statement for me.
The moral of the story is that the PRC ladies are un-predictable, and $$ is the only thing on their mind.
There are of course lots of nice girls, for example the remaining 99.99% of Chinese girls who are not working in the "entertainment" industry, or 0.1% of those girls who are. We should always remind ourselves that these girls (not pointing to this one of yours) whom we come into contact with are people who has chosen to sacrifice integrity for money. I'm not degrading them. Patronising these joints do not make ourselves any better people. What I mean is that when our main motive is getting their body with our money, their aim is likewise -- getting our money with their body! What you expect of them mirrors what they expect of us. For us to say, "all China girls are money minded sluts" is like hearing them say, "All Singaporean men are filthy losers."
I do agree we have to be careful as 99% of girls in such professions "know what they are after", but I would rather not call the kettle black. Simply because I'm a pot myself.

DEar Bro,
Well said. I do agree that I have made a sweeping statement, for which I am sorry and grateful that you have pointed out my mistake. I should have written it as "99.9% of the PRC girls in the entertainment profession are going after our $$$", granted that you will find a pathetic percentage of them who is not.
Concerning the statement "What you expect of them mirrors what they expect of us.", while your statement is not wrong, however, I wonder what would one say in cases where they are all out fo con us. If it is an exchange, fine. You can of course argue that there is no fair deal in this world, for which I shall rest my case. Again, I need to be careful to state that 99.9% of them, but not all, are not honest enough. There is nothing wrong in them going after the money from the men they service, but it is wrong for them to exercise trick on their exchange partners. You may again argue that this is their aim, and to a lesser extent their right. There are multitude of possibilty to argue about this kind of situation. In most cases, many of us knowingly or not, fall into the trap. My aim is to forewarn our dear brothers here.
"I do agree we have to be careful as 99% of girls in such professions "know what they are after", but I would rather not call the kettle black. Simply because I'm a pot myself."
You are entitled to make the above statement, however, I beg to differ. I shall not call myself a pot to be at the equal at kettles which are real black. I hope you are able to continue the arguement with a open mind.
Nevertheless, I shall continue to write such story to warn our brothers so that many of them would not fall into the black kettle.

Dear Brothers,
I beg to differ on the statement that only 99.9% of the 0.1% of ALL WOMEN working in the entertainment industry are not good.
Reason for saying so...
1. Do you know that Shanghainese girls have been inculcated since an early age to go after men with money and passports? This is an honest to god remark as I heard it with my own ears.
2. Do you know that it is a status symbol for a PRC woman to have a foreign boyfriend? Even for office ladies... their colleagues will view them with much envy and sometimes jealousy... not just women in the Entertainment industry..
3. Do you know that we're not only called Stupid Dog... but also called Kai-Zhi behind our backs?
4. Do you know that Non-Entertainment industry women are just as materialistic? A shanghainess proposed to another Shanghainese lady with a 0.8 carat daimond ring... and was asked why is it not more than 1 carat. My goodness... it is a proposal ring and the poor guy has used up all his money to buy that ring... and they have been together for close to 8 years!! Now the guy needs to think of ways to buy a house, otherwise, she will leave him... can you believe this?!?!
5. Do you know that a friend's colleague married a "decent" PRC girl from a "reputable family background" after years of courtship, and after getting her Singapore PR, it's 180 degrees change tore his dreams to shreds? They can ENDURE ANYTHING in order to achieve their aims! Beware!
Anyway, sweeping statement or not, I feel that it is always better to be safe than sorry. 小心驶得万年船
There are millions and millions of women out there... pay a small controled sum to know each and every one.. eventually you will be able to find ONE on your luckiest of days.. but until then, my personal advise would be to be extra careful....
I think Brother PTR is a seasoned fighter in this field and if whatever he said is read between the lines, one will uncover a lot of deeper meanings that can only be gained after having gone through numerous "battles"
I'm sure there are a lot of veterans out there who are just as seasoned... let's hear your opinions! This is an open discussion, no right or wrong as everyone has the right to his or her own opinions. Right?
Keep it going brothers (and perhaps sisters? :D )

Hello to both Bro Colourwolfy & PTR,
Bro Colourwolfy,
Your statement, "I should have written it as "99.9% of the PRC girls in the entertainment profession are going after our $$$"", is wronged. 100% of these ladies are working for money. Whether they are going after your money, I think this is equivalent to whether you are looking for a FOC FJ. In this way, then I would agree with you that, "I would rather not call the kettle black. Simply because I'm a pot myself."
I don get you when you said, There are of course lots of nice girls, for example the remaining 99.99% of Chinese girls who are not working in the "entertainment" industry, or 0.1% of those girls who are.
First, you add up 99.99%+0.1% = 100.09% (Haha, just joking!)
Secondly, why those not in the entertainment industry are only 0.1%, they are two group of people. Among them, there are good and bad one. For that I agree with you.
Bro PTR,
In my opinion, I think what you are trying to put up is that, like owning a car,
you have petrol and regular maintenance fees but if these cost keep on going up, either you need an overhaul or get rid of it. However, I must say that these ladies are not so easy to maintain like cars.
To further strengthen your point, a KTV gal (36C only) I met at Kunshan, have been paying for the past few times we met. Last week, I chose not to pay her, as she said she just wants me to visit her and want nothing from me. Words like, "lao gong", "hao xiang ni", "wo xi huan ni" not to mention. She even prepared dinner for the last 2 times. Early this week, she said she has no money liao! As some bros has said, those FOC prob comes with high initial investment.
Well in PRC, like my friend has said
P = People
R = Relationship
C = Cash
You need all these factors to be successful in China, the act of it is to maintian the balance within these 3, otherwise you may ended up in spending too much $ and not getting return.
Lastly, bro PTR, look like you credit is running out, I can top up for you when you are in Shanghai. You may want to add another digit, like 0.39 cent. PM if you are available when you are here.
Cheers!

Thank you Bro Shanghaitan for the post and the supportive comments.
I always enjoy reading your posts. Your standard of English is impeccable. Your grammar is very good, I am sure I can learn from you in this regards. You have been fair in your statements. Judging from your postings, I think you are also a seasoned brother in China. I know many seasoned brothers in China, from whom I have learnt a great deal. They do not post but are always ready to share their experience with me now and the then me, a newbie in China. They are even more bold in making a statement such as "Bro, becareful, ALL PRC ladies are after your money!". I though that was a sweeping statement, and disagreed then. I slowly came to realise what they meant and knew that that was not an over-statement. They are real seasoned fighters, much experienced and seasoned than me.
We believe in fair exchange, no con job no ulterior motive, but do the PRC ladies think likewise? That is the reason why I refuse to put myself at the same level of integrity with them.
The incidents quoted by you have happened many times based on my humble knowledge, and are, unfortunately, still happening. We cannot be over-careful in dealing with them. Like Brother Shanghaitan said, I sincerely hope that more veterans can come out and share their opinions, for all of us to learn. When I post, the main objective is to share with fellow Singaporeans so that they are not hurt unnecessary. Call it patroitism, or otherwise, this is my sole objective. Rep points do not matter to me as far as I am allowed to post.
Let me relate another real incident to share with you. I know of a young man, who travels rather frequently to China. He has a good salary and recently married to an attractive lady. I know him personally. Although his salary is good, and while travelling, he is on company expenses, staying in hotels higher grade than mine (that is okay with me), he is always short of money. Several occasions, when we visited KTVs and he brough girls back. The next day, he would tell me that he wanted to give the girl money, but the girl did not want to take. I kept warning him about this using my usual statement "There is no such thing as FOC, it is how and when you have to pay for it....". True, enough, he has been buying expensive gifts to girls who did not take money from him, sometimes to the amount of S$600-800. All brothers here are intelligent, the amount is close to RMB 3000 to 4000. If he had done it several times, it is not difficult to know how much he would have to spend. In fact, I learnt about his expenditure from others, including the girls themselves. I suppose he is too shy to tell me. If he does not stop, I think he would be in for bigger trouble. We are really what Brother Shanghaitan said, we are called "Kai Zhi" or "Big Carrot Head".
Our most experienced old bird in Shanghai, SGPShanghai69 and the Cheonging Ambassador in Hangzhou, DumbAss would tell you more stories of this nature.
Dear brothers, and Dear fellow Singaporeans, 小心驶得万年船 is an extremely good advice that we should frame it up to remind ourselves when in China. It works both in the entertainment and business scenes. Over ten humble years in China, this statement serves as my guiding light. Yet, in my younger days, with no internet or Sammyboy forum, many of us were not guided and fell. I hope you all will benefit from our humble experience and wise up when dealing with PRC nationals.

I just contribute whatever I can whenever I can.. Have been a "guest" for far too long.. I feel that it is about time I try to do something in the community... hahahaha...

Dear Bro Shanghaitan,
First of all, I do know why you make such comment, Do you know that Shanghainese girls have been inculcated since an early age to go after men with money and passports? Sorry but I would like to say: I hope you are not one of those that was cheated by Xiaolongnv? You made such strong comment, probably you have seen a lot of those cases. Lao Jiao!
You are right to say that 小心驶得万年船, but you cannot 一竹竿打翻一船人。Bcos we can choose to blame other but sometime I think why can't we be smarter than those Shanghaiese. Our education system and environment have thought us that what after one is two, we were not exposed to the situation whereby we have to if, else if, else if.... Shanghaiese tends to think more ahead of the others. As saying goes, 东北人,从早喝到玩;广东人,从早吃到晚;上海人从早算到晚。
Most of us are lucky to have bros like you, PTR, SGP69 and etc to prvoide us with the real life experience here to provide guidance to fellow people. All these lessons take time and money. A big thanks to this forum.
Ultimately, I think if we were not to expose ourselves too much to these ladies, not trying to show off to much, humble practise like our bro PTR, I think most of us can live and work well in China.
Got to stop here, got a appointment later at Suzhou.
Cheers!

I always enjoy reading your posts, and the other old bird's comments. So this is another FR for you.
I've just came back from Shanghai (went there after Beijing) and would like to share a FR on Park 97.
As usual, I was alone, so one bored evening, I went to check out Park 97 in Fuxing (the full name is Lan Kwa Fong at Park 97). This place is actually a collection of bars and resturant under 1 roof. All the establishments are interconnected. Had some difficulty locating the place as my taxi driver did not know the place.
California Club (CC) is the last place furtherest away from the entrance. Looked around and did not enjoyed the music (largely techno). At 10 pm, the quality of most of the girls were poor. and some of them looked like my mother!
Good thing about being older, I was patient. Sat at the bar next to CC, where the music was not so loud, and I could check out the people going in. There was a steady stream of people going in and out. Soon 2 girls and an ang mo came to the bar. Managed to chat up 1 of them, and found out she was from Zhejiang, and was working in Malone (another bar). After a while, I realized that she wouldn't bite, so I moved on.
At about 12 midnight, another 2 girls and 1 angmo came by. This time I was very interested as 1 of them was tall and fair. Must be from the North. Waited for my chance and started a conversation with her.
Her name is Chao and she is from Dalian. After a few mintues, I have already sized her up. She is in for the biz. Her opening price was 1400 RMB. Ha! Thanks to all the info bros have been giving on SHA pricing, I managed to half it to 700 RMB. It was worth every cent!
Interestingly, on returning to my 5 star hotel, I walked hand-in-hand with Chao unharassed to my room. (I used to get stopped in BKK when I do this, and the hotel would require me to register the girl.) This is Pleasant Surprise 1.
Pleasant Surprise 2 - Chao was every thing I want in the women. Aggressive in bed, slutty, and horny!
We started off with a Ying-yang shower, and warmed up in the living room (I had a suite) with some kissing, rubbing, and she gave gave me one of the best BJJ. (It was as good as my favorite G150 girl - the retired Yoko!)
After humping in a few position and Chao had already cummed once, I rested. Guess what - Chao started to rub her breast and cunt to warm up for round 2!! Wah Lau! I tested the water, and asked if I could take some pics. She said YES! Jumped out of the bed, and got my equipment. (I will post it in the pics section.)
Humped her some more, and finished with round 2. While resting, we chatted. You know what she brought up in the conversation? SHe mentioned that she had tried anal with her last boyfriend, and she felt very horny and wanted to try with me!!
But sit, I had no KY!! I tried for a few minutes to warm up her 2nd hole with her own cunt juice. Then tried to slowly put my dick into her 2nd hole.. Tried.. tried.. Chao tried her best too, moving her backside into my pole. BUT alas, Chao gave up. SHe said I was too big! Next trip, I will bring my KY along!
Tired out we hugged each other to bed.
Next day, I woke up to a persistent rubbing at my pole. Chao was one horny woman! We managed to have a 2nd bang before breakfast. And I sent her off before leaving for office.
Chao was a different tpye of bang from Xiang (my BJ GF).

一竹竿打翻一船人, well said, Bro Shengge. I supposed many of us made that statement is because of our humble experience. I also admit that it is perhaps not very correct to say this. I would like to seek the permission of brothers here to allow me to make a statement like
"Statistically, PRC ladies are after $$$, not necessary the Singaporeans, but foreigners".
Yes, I totally agree that we ought to learn to be smart. This is perhaps many of our brothers here are relating their experience to warn the rest. In doing so, it is inevitable that strong statements are sometimes made. Brothers here should not take those statements by their face value. When some brothers here made those statements, there must be some truth in it. Alright, maybe not 100%, but take them as statistically accurate with certain level of confident interval. I admit that I have seen a lot, my humble experiences and those of the brothers. Everyone of us, I can even vouch for many of the seasoned brothers here, had been bitten at least once. We just do not like to see the re-occurrence happens to our fellow citizens. The spirit of sharing.
I will stop discussing about whether the statement is a "sweeping one", but would leave it to the brothers here to find out for themselves. In this regard, I sincerely hope that our humble postings would prevent you from dropping into the black kettles. I would now prefer to continue to recount and to share my experience, in my small way. It is indeed my sincere hope that what we have posted here would be useful. We are impartial, just quoting facts, and incidents that either we have gone through ourselves, or those that happened on others.

Dear Bro Shengge,
Just to clarify, I'm not one of those cheated by XiaoLongNuus before.. I'm not that rich to begin with.. hahaha.. so I'll always be humble...
When I first started out, I always know the limit I have to "spend".. after which, its good-bye time. The statement was note made by me.. but by the Shanghainese girl.. I merely report what I heard.
The dangers of the emotional traps I know very well... almost drowned... luckily, I have a strong supporting cast that brought me back from the dead. It was not easy...
I made strong statements because that is what I strongly believe. And like I have said many a times, everyone is entitled to have their own views and the strength of each person's belief differs. Certain things I hold more neutral opinions and certain issues, stronger stand points. It's natural for anyone to do that, right?
Like I have confessed, I'm not a veteran... which may be the reason for my strong (stronger than some brother might be able to stamach) statements as maybe I have not been through enough to see "the other side". So, I beg some brothers to bear with me... my opinions are from my own (myopic perhaps) views and experiences... and don't take it to heart if it contradicts your stand points.
I apologise if I have antagonized any brothers out there. Please accept my humble and sincere apologies... 大哥们!小弟刚刚出道,如有冒犯的地方,请您大人有大量,多多原谅!

Bro game10199,
Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your post greatly and glad that you had a wonderful time in Shanghai. Dalian ladies are generally quite fair, and are generally not very tall. They can be lookers. The only thing is the way they talk, not foul words, but the tune and the pitch at times. But this is nothing wrong as people in different regions of China do speak differently.
RMB 1400 is exorbitant, moreover, it is near mid-night. Do continue to share with brothers here. I am an old man now, and hence no more juicy experience and encounters like you have, but can only post sad stories. Sigh....

Hi Bro PTR,
Don't be melancholic... Sad stories do happen (after a while...when one starts to realise the truth behind the facades), but I'm sure when you first came over to China, you must have been full of anticipation and excitement. Those were the days when the FRs were filled with wild women and great pleasures! Do tell us more about those encounters as well... hehe.. that would be the good 'ole days stories..
As for me.. I think I've learnt all my lessons the hard way... now I tend to stick mainly will be those P-A-F relationships... Maybe in order to get into my head or heart again, it will need a trojan horse with Brad Pitt hidden inside... hahahahaha
On hindsight, $$ losses can be easily recovered if realised early... like a disease, early detection is the key.... but emotional ones brings great pains not just to oneself but oftentimes to the families as well. The worst kind are those $$ plus emotional relationships. No win-win situations...
Looking forward to hear about your past "adventures" as well as your learned advices....
Once again, I wish to apologise to all brothers whom I have infuriated with my remarks.. not intentional.. just personal opinions.. :)
Cheers!

Hi Bro Shanghaitan,
When I first came to China, there was no internet, let alone FR's. Like you said it correctly, I have learnt the hard way. There was no handphone with roaming serviceavailable at that time, hence communication is really a problem. Handphone then was only reserved for the selected few.
You want to hear about my juicy stories? I will try to remember some and share with you all. But, as I have said, I post because I want to share with brothers here and to warn them on the possible pitfalls, but not to talk about glorious past. I will post some if one day, I am free and have the feeling to re-collect my sweeter moments.... if any
With best regards

Hi Brother PuTongTen,
If you're re=collecting sweet memories, just put a disclaimer at the start and end of it...
The reason why I suggest inputing some "jucier" stories is so that brothers who are following this thread for "lobangs" and other forms of gratifications will not be bored or put off by the negativities that people like myself tends to write. :P
Personally, I rarely cheong nowadays perhaps I have "grown" out of it... even those P-A-Fs are few and very far between. hahahaha... maybe I'm getting old....
Anyway, hope we can meet up some day. I still have so much to learn from gurus like yourself! Hope you have fun in Kunming... never been there but heard that it is a very serene place...

Dear Bro Shanghaitan,
Juicy stories? Like you, I rarely go to KTV, never go to Barber Shops nor Factory, very seldom go to HC nowaday. My stories would be very very out-dated. I wonder whether the information is up-to-date.
My sweeter memory is mostly with those ladies not working in the aforesaid joints. Some which young chamber maids, some with office ladies, one with the assistant to my friend's company (pretending to learn Shanghainese), some with attractive waitresses in restaurants, and a little bit from counter-girls at different establishments. These story will not give good lobangs to brothers here. I do know some good joints due to entertainment requirements. I am into tea appreciation, and hope that one day I could be with one of the tea ladies whose mouth is so sensous (Bro Tsuyoyi cannot take his eyes from her mouth when we were there a few times).
My juicy stories are only good for bed-time reading. I am not sure whether they are useful here. I shall see about it. In fact, I have more con-stories than sweet stories. I guess I am not handsome enough. If I could get some juicy stories from Kunming, I will definitely post for people to see. I did post one in the Chongqing/Chengdu thread about places in these two places. I also post in Beijing thread.

Hello Bro Putonren, Shanghaitan, Shengge and all...
Wow, didn't expect my comments to invite so many responses. :)
Please don't get me wrong. I am totally for the idea of being EXTREMELY careful. Probably because I have strong personal feelings for the country itself, it's more disturbing for me to hear negative comments about it, although I myself often complain about the generally low quality of Chinese people. Like the novellist 柏杨 called them "丑陋的中国人". (Yes I'm very Cheena). And how sad... *sigh*
I totally agree with being careful. And it's really good for us to see our brothers warning us and keeping us on our toes. Keep up the good work!
I'm not as active as many of you when it comes to having fun in China, really have much to learn from you guys. But I've had bad experiences myself on many occasions, not just with girls, but with people in every imaginable profession. My first trip to China was a backpack trip 14 years ago. Travelled around many parts of the country and I was so wary at that time I didn't dared to tell people whom I meet that I'm a foreigner. When someone asked, I would say I'm from Hainan, my origin. And still I was ripped off by trishaw riders, hotel staff.. etc, but Hey! there were also many genuine people whom I just bumped into and helped me alot along the way, and we remained close friends until today.
To be continued..

The "sweeping" statement comment was not my main point and of course not directed at Bro Putonren. :o Everyone makes sweeping statements, including myself. Like I always go, "Americans are liars"... or "中国人的素质就是差!" :D My actual point is so that we should not be too disillusioned with the place. The girls we are talking about here probably only make up 0.01% of the population, and they seem very loud. So loud that we might be overwhelmed, as most people remember the bad things you've done and forget the good deeds you ever performed. (trying to clarify my maths, which is why I said 99.99% of the remainder WHO are not in such profession)
Agree with Shanghaitan too that some girls think having a foreign boyfriend etc. means they are superior... but these things happen even in Singapore. And again, there are girls who would never want to go out with foreigners or don't buy Japanese products...

Part3...
I'm in Europe myself, which is why most of you guys are sleeping when I post and when I wake up there'll be much to read. :p I have a friend from China who told me she was accompanying some other friends for lunch and took salad from the salad bar anyway since nobody knew if she paid for it. I told her not to do it again, simply because if she's caught, the locals would not say "This person... Like bro Putonren said, it's important to keep an open mind. So I just hope that brothers here while staying careful (which is VERY important especially when you are abroad!!) do not portray the country with the small group of loud women who give their country a bad name.
There are always two sides to one thing. So let's stay open and have fun... :)

Dear Brother,
I am happy to read your response. At no time, I though that your statement was directed at me. Even if you were, I would accept it as I did make a sweeping statement. I am glad that you still keep an open mind to discussion. Good! One thing that I hate a lot is when someone, during an open discussion, takes thing very personal. As I had said, sweeping statements will continue to appear, but please do not take them at their face value. In addition, what I would do is to think hard on why such statements are being made? There must be some essence that we can extract either from the statements, or from the reasons that these statements are made.
I work in Europe 3 to 4 months a year to look after an establishment. Everytime when my friends or sometimes, my subordinates, throw comments on Singaporean or Chinese, I usually react rather strongly, not by shouting, but by questioning them until they can give me a reason for doing so. I am a Singaporean Chinese, and proud to be a Singaporean and a Chinese by origin. We should all defend the name of our Country and our race.
Yes, in China, we have to be-careful, not necessarily that it is dangerous, but more importantly, it is not our home.

ColourwolfyBro colourwolfy, I think your suggestion is great, in Shanghai, other than the offical Singapore Shanghai Club, there should be plenty of room to start a Shanghai Samsters Club. Although the Singapore population in Shanghai is small, if we were to bang together, its not that bad after all. I am currently in Singapore and will be back to SH in mid Dec, shall see if we can catch up then.

Dear Brothers,
Your acceptance of my postings and reading are the best rewards of my minor effort in writing those rather long postings. About writing a ten-year series, it will be quite an effort. Actually, I have written some during the old Sammyboy Fourm hosted by Delphi, it will be nice if I can get them back and post here. I will continue to write as far as there are readers, even if they flame me, as I believe that they must have done it with a reason, which can be good one that I can absorb and improve myself.

Dear Brother Shanghaitan,
As promised, I have written a simple FR in the Kuming - China Thread. It is a simple and factual FR, and I do not find it juicy myself. This is a turn of the habbit of writing only rather sad postings. I hope you will enjoy it.
So many brothers in Shanghai agreed that we should meet. I would think so. Unfortunatly, I can be there only after Chinese New Year. Why not you all meet first? I will join you all for Tea, as I have started to try to stop alcohol driinking already.
With best regards from Kunming.

Dear Brother PTR,
Thank you for your FR in the Kunming thread. I think that the juicy part of the entire transaction is secondary. I feel that the underlying importance is the lesson that we need to be careful with our valuables and also to be careful not to become stereo typed as a "stupid" customer who can always "drain" a little more than what is usually necesseary or required.
But then again, unless we have a correct and accurate price guide, it will usually depend on gut feeling and individual satisfaction level, right Bro PTR?
To all brothers out there, do keep the FRs flowing and keep the discussions as open as we possibly can!
Cheers!

Just to clarify, I'm not one of those cheated by XiaoLongNuus before.. I'm not that rich to begin with.. hahaha.. so I'll always be humble...
Hey Bro Shanghaitan,
Well, I should be the one to apologise. Actually like bro colourwolfy has said not all of them are bad. Like yourself, I am not rich...haha.... Though I have been here for many years but I did not cheong much, so cannot be considered as veteran.
I made strong statements because that is what I strongly believe.
In general, your comment about the Shanghaiese Gals are right. Most of these ladies are self-orientated. I think many times, this single child policy resulted in these problem. Also they like to be pampered and most Shanghaiese guys like to do that as well. Even my Shanghaiese friend has to pay his former Shanghaiese gf during the break off. I know both of them. Another time was Shanghaiese guy told me that whenever his gf looks at certain things for too long during shopping, he will have to work hard to pay for it.
I apologise if I have antagonized any brothers out there. Please accept my humble and sincere apologies... 大哥们!小弟刚刚出道,如有冒犯的地方,请您大人有大量,多多原谅!
There is nothing to apologise, as you probably have a lot of adventure and exposure much more than me. I am not very active, prob getting older and dislike the KTV environment.......you are not paying for their service but you pay to tell them to leave.
We are just exchanging info, no hard feeling against any individual.

Dear Brother Shengge,
Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated!
Saw something interesting last weekend in the Raffles City food court... let me recount that incident...
Saw this Shanghainese couple sitting beside me.. the girl was throwing a tantrum so the poor sod have to find ways and means to appease her..
First he bought her rice with Brinjo.. she said she does not eat that... so off the guy went and bought her hot-pot soup with rice.. still she refuses to eat.. just sat there looking glum..
No choice.. so the guy finished the Brinjo rice.. all the while coaxing the girl to eat.. but to no avail.. after he has finished.. he started to try to hand feed her... at first, no reaction.. but slowly started to eat.. FINALLY! As she started to warm up, she complained to the guy that her socks are loose.. so, he quickly went down on his knees and pull up the socks for her... OMG! I cannot believe my eyes.. Shanghainese carrying their girlfriends' handbags (which he did when they left) was bad enough...
To cut the story short, she eventually warm up enough to feed herself, all the while pouting.. sigh...
Shanghainese women are so pampered.. and the guys are, in my personal opinon, "useless"! It is natural for guys to pamper their love ones, but to go to the extent of scurrying around, wagging their tails and begging for affection, I think is pathetic.
For argument's sake, I think that Shanghainese women are much more capable then their male counterparts... resulting in the sorry state of Shanghainese men... which in turn breeds contempt from Northern guys for these "weaklings"..
On the flip side, there are Shanghainese men who, due to the fact that they have money, are utterly unbearable. Talk super loud, acts like they own the world and everyone owes them.. sigh.. so extreme.. the weak and the brash...
But I guess, this is China... have to go to extremes to be "noticed"...
Just my 2 cents worth...
Cheers!

This sort of thing is very common in Shanghai. Too bad that I still don know how to carry the lady handbag. :( These ladies probably 'boh gan buai tua'.

hey shanghai brudders,
I am actually not in shanghai, but a client has asked me, if I know a simple question. (I'm more into Jakarta scene at the moment).
I am still reading through the posts in this thread, but I am only up to page 57... can someone help me out?
If my client picks up a girl in Galaxy disco, but does not want to take her back to the hotel? Any other cheap joints nearby to fark her in (short time)? Or maybe you guys can introduce a place that can fark right there, pay up and get the fark out (like a massage joint maybe)? Somewhere close to Galaxy hotel?
Don't worry, if you guys think this is a dumbass question man. I know the rules (heh heh, just trying my luck). I'll continue to read the post regardless. Thanks brudders.

Shanghaitan
Dear Brother Shanghaitan,
Here, I still beg to differ. It only works when everyone is telling the truth. I am not sure how many of us really give the right figure. At times, some brothers may give a figure that did not correspond to what they have paid due to "face" problem, and this pressure exerted by us on "Not to spoil the market." It is just like the giving of tips to waiters or waitresses. If a client is happy with the service rendered, he gives more. If he/she is not satisfied with the service, he/she can opt to give nothing or lesses amount. I prefer to tell the truth even if people say that I do not follow market rate. What is market rate then?
Price guide needs to be accurate as well, who should be the right people to give a reliable one, sorry, I am not sure as well. I still feel that personal satisfaction with the service is the most important factor. The only time that I do not give is when the service provider gives me reason just to get more from me, such as the case reported in Kunming.

Dear Bro,
You can ask your client to try out
http://www.jj-inn.com/
it cost about RMB200-300 per nite, there is no hourly rate room available after evening.
First of all, why Galaxy? (Don't think it will be cheap!)
Secondly, why go to another hotel? (Waste money)
Thirdly, I would rather recommend him to visit one of the HC that posted here. Safe (I mean for not being caught by police, not the lady, be careful not to bring them to a place that you are not familair with or going to her place)
Hope it help!

Hi Brother PuTongRen,
You're right to ask "What is Market Rate?"! Agreed that there are no clear-cut figures. And I agree when you mentioned about tipping.
But I feel that tipping is something above and beyond the actual price.. example.. a bowl of chicken rice (SGD 2.50) but if you feel the service is good and responsive, you might say pay SGD 3.00 and walk off, telling them to consider it as tips.. (though this does not usually happen in our hawker center context but I'm a hawker center going person so that's the only food pricing I know.. :P) There is still a base price.. ie. SGD 2.50.. right?
Likewise when dealing with these "providers", we usually know that the basic cost is room charge+sauna(maybe)+massage(maybe)+additonal sevices... then whatever tip you want to offer when the "providers" ask for more.. right?
My mistake asking for accuracy in the pricing.. Sorry... I'm actually referring to guideline figures... eg for Health Centers, Hair Salons, KTVs, FL etc etc... how much more we actually give will be directly proportionate to how we "feel" at the end of the session. Some brothers might expect more, thus in the end not that satisfied, others who have never tried it, it might just turn out to be the most mind-blowing experience ever.. so each will pay differently, but definitely not less than the basic.. right?
How's the Kunming trip so far? Fruitful?
Cheers!

Dear Brother Shanghaitan,
Your argument by looking from the angle of "Basic Price" is sensible and intelligent indeed. Basic cost or Basic Price does differ from places to places You are a just person in making your view. Thank you.
What I do not quite enjoy in this forum is that when someone was kind enough to make a FR, what he received would be comments like "Spoiling the market;" "You are stupid to pay so much,".... etc. This does not apply necessary to me (I care less anyway). Talking about market rate, I know of two brothers who were the preachers of market rate". Taking the case of one of them as illustration. Three years ago, one evening, we went to a KTV, both of us brought back a lady. As usual, the next day, we talked about the adventure. He said that the lady (Miss X, say) only asked for RMB 800. Knowing that in Shanghai, normally, an One-Shot would cost between RMB 1200 to 1500 (Again, some brothers can claim that they have paid only RMB 1000), that was not expensive. I trusted my friend. Was that really the truth? No, he revealed himself one evening (maybe one glass too much) that he paid RMB 1500, the usual rate. Well, this is the reason why I said some brothers migh quote lower price as this is the matter of face.
I totally agree with you view of Basic Cost. This is the reason why, whenever I was in a place that I was not familiar at all, I would ask what would be the minimum charges. I took the service only when I agree to it. For the case in hand in Kunming, I did talk to some taiwanes friends who were here before, They told me that depending on the quality of the girls, never pay beyond RMB 1500. They said that the usual damage would be RMB 1200 minimum. Well, as I had said that I liked the girl, the service was good, I paid what she was worth. Frequently, many brothers here quoted only the short-time service in the hotel room and started to make comparison. They have forgotten about the amount they have paid in the KTV. If we do that, we will find that the amount that I have paid will not be excessive. I am not defending myself, but just to make a point.
In the old days, even in Beijing, outside Kunlun Hotel, we can get street walkers for RMB 300, and even cheaper when it was getting late. I do think I would even attempt to put my organ into their bodies. You want cheap, of course in Kunming, I could have gotten a street walker near the hotel, the two girls who approached them told me that RMB 300 for one-short and RMB 500 for overnight. Granted that at time we would get a gem, however, the service girls that they have shown me, although from far, looked more like Country girl (Cun Gu) one one hand, and did not appeal to me on the other hand.
Well, I always enjoy your writing and openness. Please continue writing to continue the discussion. Do read the Kuming-China thread to learn the comments made by other brothers of the forum, and of course, my reply to them.
With best regards

Can't agree more with bro Putonren on the pricing thing. Who is it that sets the "market rate" anyway? If I'm really happy, I can be very generous. Otherwise, I'd think one penny is too much. Just like when I'm in China, my friend could not believe I bargained from one hot pita for 3 yuan to two for 5 yuan. That 1 yuan difference is only S$0.20 ... but you are free to determine what you "think" is reasonable and are willing to pay for. We can each give our own opinion of what we are willing to pay, but in my opinion there's no such thing as "market rate".
Hope you have a good time in Kunming. The Bai minority girls are known to be beautiful. Don't know if you can get one?

hi all,
i am new to Shanghai.
May i know where is a good and reasonable place for massage and place to go for KTV? I heard the ones in the city center are really expensive. The prices in Shanghai is so much higher than Chang Ping, Zhu Hai, etc. Am trying to spend less but have a fair bit of fun in Shanghai. The gals along Hengshan Lu hanging out in the pub are fairly old.
Any kind recommendations?

Tien Heng Da Jiu Dian - there's a KTV / Nite Club on the 5th floor where the girls are quite solid......but must bargain the overnight as there does not seem to have a 'market price'.....
There's also a health centre on 6th floor (or issit 4th floor, indicated on lift), which offers 'FULL PACKAGE' at RMB 800 or the 'European style' which consists 45 mins PROPER MASSAGE and 45mins of breast rub and HJ.....c/w free food, big TV room and sauna...for RMb 380 (inclusive of tips)...IT WAS quite an interesting experience and the girls i tried (no2. 27 and nos. 57) were quite friendly and service quite good....
Hope this helps.......
Btw, I'll be arriving in Qingdao on 15th Dec and will be in Shanghai on 17th......so any bros wanna catch up, pm me...
Cheers,

Dear Brother,
Thank you for sharing. I shall try the places that you have indicated. In fact, yesterday during late afternoon, I rented a taxi to go around Kunming city, and asked the driver to show me the good joints. We have gone pass the place that you have mentioned, I think it is along Deng Feng Lu (??).
I went to one yesterday evening and had a Chongqing lady. I shall post a FR in the Kunming-China thread later after my meetings, or maybe tomorrow as there is an official dinner this evening.
Keep up the spirit of sharing, Brother.

Dear Brothers!
Christmas is just around the corner. Just wondering if any brothers are returning home to spend time with their families?
Sincerely,

Hi Bros, I have been reading thru the many postings on Shanghai and quite honestly, I have been there on a few occassions and yet I have yet to get laid in Shanghai!!! Yes, believe it or not, Ihave not found anything in a city everyone is having a good time!
I guess I am blur like sotong!
So can some kind bro please help give me some recommendations?
I will be staying at Jin Chen Hotel on Huai Hai Zhong Rd.
Any fun nearby?
Thanks in advance for your kindest help! :D

Hi Brother,
I believe Mao Ming Lu is near your hotel.. walk to the end where the pubs are.. but the quality/standard of the WL there are not too good if you're going for the Streetwalkers.
Conversely, you can take a cab to Heng Shan Lu where there are a few discos and pubs. Just read through the thread for the DOs and DON'Ts just so that you'll not be taken advantage of.
If you have friends with you, then you might consider going to a KTV and get the mummy to arrange "take-outs" for you. Again, the price you can find in this thread. It should be around Rmb1,200 - Rmb1,500 for ST. Unless you are feeling very loaded, try not to go to the KTV in Parkson (Huai Hai Lu)...
As for HCs, you'll have to get the info from other brothers as I am not too sure where they are located and what kind of services are on offer. Heard New Huai Hai (on Fuxing Lu, Near Shunchang Lu as brother SGP69 just told me) is good but personally have not been able to locate it's exact position.
Enjoy but be alert at all times...
Cheers!

Hi guys,
I'm in Shanghai now (2 week trip), but am currently staying in a company apartment (which means having other ppl in the apmt). However, I have been blessed with one and only one night where I'm going to have the place to myself. I had initially abandoned all hope of bringing anyone back for overnight, but now.. heh heh
So I would appreciate it very very much if anyone could give me pointers as to where would be the best place to go to hunting alone (without being too obviously newbie-ish and getting chopped). Alternatively, if anyone wants to go out for a drink tomorrow (thursday night, i know, short notice), then I'd be glad to meet up, and then we can go hunting together. The apartment's in Puxi, near the JW Marriott / People's Park area.
Thanks (and I promise a detailed FR on friday morning!)
