Difficult to give you the exact lobang without knowing makan joints you prefer - economic bee hoon, ang mo hamburg, or japanese sushi.

Economic bee hoon - Village girls
- after leaving arrival at mactan airport, bypass all the prepay limo taxis which cost around 500-700pesos. instead go across street and to the right. up steps to departure and grab cab just dropping off. get driver to use meter or negotiate to maybe 200 to downtown cebu hotel. beware of meter scams but i never have problem so far. Stay at midpriced Midtown hotel which is a lil outta the way though. Other options that I have not tried are Holiday Plaza, Parklane which may be good. Now some courage needed. Ask taxi to take you to Honquera (Hon-keh-rah) for girl. Tell taxi you will give tip 100-200peso tip for SYT. Generally for safety stay in taxi and let girls come to you. Examine girl in cab. Can get 18-20yo SYT but straight from village so rough on edges. Pay from 1500 to 2500peso for short/long time to mama/papa. Tell driver go to short time hotel or go back to your hotel. Short time hotel very private but can be intimidating and dirty. Your hotel can be intimidating due to walk of shame past staff and security but they won't bother you. After I give girl tip 500peso since they very poor.
Also "casas" (brothel houses) also possible but I think girls are high mileage with bad service, but I heard from others it's good.

Ang Mo hamburger - cheap, dresses sexy, looks older to asian eyes
Before trip go on internet dating sites for filipinas and arrange get a list of prospective GFs to exploit. Buy local SIM card so have local phone number. Go to bars on Mango Ave like Silver Dollar, Vikings (rate 3-7) or try to pickup girls at malls (time consuming). Can be had for free-500-1500pesos but older, hardened look to them. Some looking for marriage to older Ang Mo. Good if you want to hang with girl for longer time and pretend to be BF and GF.

Japanese Sushi - costs more but worth it sometimes.
Take limo taxi for 500-700peso from airport arrival area to hotel.
Stay at Marriott in Lahug for high class, biz-like hotel. Good location next to Ayala mall with KTV within walking distance. Safe. Also Waterfront in Lahug with smallish casino and disco. Go to high end KTVs like Arena and Jaguar but even though girls are 7-9, I had more luck at Volvo, Papillion, Love City, etc. To many to list. Also can try notorious japanese places back on Mactan island but i have never tried. Generally price can go as high as 4000peso for short/long time but generally girl will give good service, clean, etc. Tip 500peso.

Other fun things to do. Give taxi 1000-1500 pesos to take you around all day to visit tourists spots like where invading Magellan was killed by locals and old churches, shopping, boat to Bohol for beaches for 2-day trip, cheap mactan resorts - can buy ticket just for day visit, discos.

Cebu Bars For Men

Part of the Cebu nightlife are the bars for men in Cebu. These are called 'Bikini Bars'. The basic idea is to have several women in bikinis dancing or talking with the customers. These women (guest relations officers or GROs) are in the bar to earn money through a customer buying them a drink or the customers pay the bar a 'bar fine' to take the woman out of the bar.

If you are going to the bikini bars as part of Cebu nightlife, it is wise to use caution. I don't recommend taking the woman to your hotel room. Take the woman to a short time hotel. They rent inexpensive rooms by the hour. Two popular and clean short time hotels are Queensland Hotel and Sogo Hotel.

Cebu nightlife is to be enjoyed, take my advice and you'll avoid any problems.

Arena is the biggest and most expensive bikini bar in Cebu. They usually have over 100 women and the dance show is a little more entertaining than other places.

Silver Dollar Bar is a well known place for expats and it's in a convenient location near Robinsons Mall and Fuente Osmena Circle.

Club Temptation near Mango Avenue is a nice place with a relaxed atmosphere and they have a good mix of women which are recruited from the small towns. It's a comfortable club for Cebu Nightlife with couches and usually good service. The staff is friendly, helpful and cheerful.

after making some calls I finally remember the names, 1st one is Sunflower(very near Mactan hotel in the city, every cab driver knows where it is) and the other one is PUMP(now this is my favourite fishing ground!).

At Sunflower, it is a club filled with locals, lookout for the usual signs of gals who are FL, shouldn't be difficult to identify...and also there are those who just go there to party hard, again these are the really wild ones and can be quite a orized catch.

PUMP : there are 2 PUMPS, always go to the one next to the CONVENTION CENTRE, again it is very prominent and taxi drivers know. Action starts late here, go after 12 for good action, lots of KTV gals come here after work and lots of FL here too...this is the place where I had 5 ONS in all over a period of time. Now over here this is the trick, when I go with my friends, I always have a designated bouncer(usually I shove him 300-500peso) and he is my man for the night(if u ask me why,read on, it really helps)...he makes sure u get a good table, makes sure all my drink orders are in place, makes sure I always get to cut queue when taking a piss(even waits outside for me sometimes) and the BEST PART is whenever I see a gal I like, I just point and he helps me do the ice breaking part and the rest is history. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name, but most bouncers will do that.

PENTHOUSE : This is located at the IT PARK(an IT park filled with Call Centres), now this place I figure no FLs hang out as the people here are like higher class but still, nothing a drink or two can't solve, drinks here are more expensive and what I don't like is the fact that it is small and bad ventilation when packed(always packed btw). Opens only on weekends. If you spot any hot pinoy with local guy there, just drop the idea cos any local guy who goes there probably has a daddy who pocketed enough $ to last 2 generations. But overall music is good, suppose to be the best club in CEBU when I was there, bros who are into clubbing can check it out.

JAGUAR : I went to this place twice with my supplier and never once he let me pay so I really have no clue what the bill or damage is like but from what I know it is suppose to be expensive.

CLUB ARENA : Always wanted to go but somehow I never got the chance, either ended up somewhere else or asleep, heard from foreign friends it is also worth checking out.

Overall I prefer Cebu to Manila as people there are friendlier, girls are fair and easy to "sian"...and they don't do as much "drama rama" as those in Angeles or Manila. In fact, I even brought one of my ONS to MOALBOAL for a weekend at one of the resorts and enjoyed myself so much cos she really took care of everything being a local.

Sadly now I am posted back to Manila...god I miss Cebu.

If you want even cheaper flights, fly SIN-MNL-CEB by either Cebu Pacific or Airphil Express. You will be surprise as it is cheaper to fly this way but having said this, the savings may not be significant to some of you.

As I am not able to get a cheaper flight, I use my SIA points to redeem the Silkair flight to Cebu. Cost me $124 for the tax and 25,000 points.

Was in Cebu for a month last month.. Temptation is not bad, but i would recommend Red Lips, the latest joint owned by same owner as Viking. It has more young chics and better quality, and believe it or not, cheaper than the rest. Now many koreans are flooding this place.. For Arena, LT is 5.6k upwards, Red Lips is 1.5k/1.7k

I visit cebu once in a while. arena has been there for ages! and it kinda established itself as high end. thus, expect really to pay more there. the new ones are obviously catering to the lower budgets.

Nice booking you got there, I had the Cebu Pacific for 2-way to Cebu for S$84.16, to be exact including 15kg check in luggage for both flight. We just have to wait for the cheap promo to flash then grab whichever your prefer flight you could. Well I'm here in Cebu city now, good sunny and usual humid here in the day time.

Been to the Loft... same location as Penthouse. Quite an attas joint given the location at IT park. Many call centres in this area so office gals aplenty, no FL (i think).

If you're there, do check out Sunflower also (along the main road, 300m from Penthouse). This place has many chiobus in the weekend, esp in the dance and Live band section, but they're mostly young kids of richer families in Cebu..

Pump is alright, i think. But this place has more koreans than anything else. I still prefer Julianna's.

Can't comment on moalboal as I've never been there. Was supposed to meet a gal in alcantara at one time but i backed out in the end.

Anyway if I want to go to a beach, I go to boracay. Domestic flights via Cebu Pac is quite affordable and only 1 hour journey. But for trip to these places, i'd recommend you bring someone with you and you'll have the time of your life!

Anyway if I want to go to a beach, I go to boracay. Domestic flights via Cebu Pac is quite affordable and only 1 hour journey. But for trip to these places, i'd recommend you bring someone with you and you'll have the time of your life!

The main theme of my trip is diving la...so I want to go moalboal..if there is any extra there, it be bonus. hehe

Got back from Cebu. Julian Disco is really a good place for pickup. Plenty of girls even at 10pm...A lot of Koreans Chicks too and you might want to try your hand on them provided there are not a big bunch of korean guys behind. kekeke

You may try to have some massage at those 24hr parlor? There are a few outlets near Fuente Osmena area. I thought that check-out time is 12pm and check-in time is 2pm? Well usually I tried to stay at those accommodation that allow me to check-in early, just like you I took the Cebu Pacific flight too. :o I find that it was ok for me to arrive in the wee morning, cause it will be smooth traffic to anywhere and much cooler. Once I check-in the room, I would get some rest then start my day activities. ;)

Well Tiger Airways started offering flights between Cebu and Singapore recently only. We had to accept that Cebu Pacific Air was the only budget airline which offer such a flight timing for this route from the past. Since Tiger Airways offer this route, hope that consumers will get better option in fare and schedule as well. However I could get two way flight ticket under S$100 from Cebu Pacific only, lets hope Tiger Airways may pose more competitive pricing.

Actually you can check in to Sogo upon arrival and have a short rest before proceeding to your hotel. Sogo's rate is by the hour so it's okay to take a 2 or 3 hour rest. :)

If around Mango, approach by kids, avoid them. Front ones will do the talking
and the back one behind u will pick yr pocket.

There are lots of OKTs around the Colon area especially Paerez street vicinity. All the girls are FLs there and do not pay more than 500p for ST. Locals only pay 150-300p max. Unless you look and talk like a filipino most likely the prices are raised for foreigners.

They may look tough and menacing but they keep to themselves and leave the foreigners alone. You have more to worry from the beggar kids and the street peddlars, there a nuisance and irritating lot.

Mango is situated within Uptown Cebu i.e. refers to the northern part of Cebu city. Uptown is where most visitors stay: more bars and clubs, area here is more modern, and safer than downtown areas. Around Mango area you'll find many gogo bars and clubs like Julianas... If you want more upscale clubs, go to IT Park (5 mins from Ayala).

Downtown refers to Colon St area(South of Mango). It’s the older part of Cebu, more local, more seedy and unsafe after the dept stores close (9pm).

Another hint: From Mactan airport, ignore the airport taxi (cost 600pesos). Instead, cross the small road and go up the short staircase, and hail a cab from there. Tell the driver to use meter or nego to 200-250p to uptown (mango area) area, wherever your hotel is. If you want to hang around Mango, there are many hotels around Robinsons area.

This is standard procedure and you have to show this paper to the guard at the checkpoint.At the arrival exit(near to the money changers mentioned above),cross the road/path to the other side and take the sliding walkway leading up to the departure level. Go to where the taxis drop off the passengers and wait in line. The white taxis are plentiful.Cost to Mango Sq is about 200 pesos I think but make sure you have small notes as the money changer usually dont .

Thanks for the info. Came a little too late as I was already in my hotel when I read your post. Dint want to take a risk so I changed a small amount at T1 before boarding CP. Rate was 30.50.

It was raining heavily when I arrived at Mactan so I shared a yellow taxi with a fellow passenger from the same flight to Radisson Blu hotel.. fare was 3 hundred something so we rounded it up to 400p as the cab driver was friendly and helpful. He went out of the way to shield us from the rain by borrowing umbrellas from the hotel reception while we sat in the cab. Cebu has the highest concentration of massage parlours amongst all the Philippine cities..... you can practically locate at least one in every street. :D

For the most part, Cebu is relatively safe. The only "sleazy" area you might want to avoid at night if you are newbie is the downtown Colon area as many bars here are mainly for locals (if you arexperience in Cebu then Colon maybe ok as some expats also hang out there). But definitely avoid the pier area at night as sometimes in the past some local gangs hang out there along with drug dealings. You dont want to be caught up with that. Stay safe.

Just return from Cebu yesterday;). This time stay in Colon and had a enjoyable trip.For exchange rate, Ayala mall do give best rate @34.1 though you can get 34.5 from places like AC. Mall fishing is possible but unless time is on your side. Mango square is happening but action only get heated up late in the morning around 2am where all BG will gathered there.Me with a newies had our enjoyment in fun in Mango avenue pub and with drinks(P95) and LD(P200).Total for the 3 nights on drinks and Ld(P5000). Yes, Colon area is a little dangerous but my advise is to be on guard on personal belongings. Was appraoch by many FLs and was quoted P300 to 1000P on many occasion. In fact, was offer P200 by one 30s Milf with look 6/10.:eek:In the end,parted without any deal but a tip of P200 for her time spend chatting with me. She is doing this to feed her 2 little kids who is sleeping in the open at outside one of the shophouse.
In colon, massage can be had for 2 hours @P250 and simple meal for P250. There is night market like our pasar malam. You can forget about it as items sold will of poor quality. Before going to Cebu I got a contact from Bro. Cupid Express but unfortunately, due to work, I couldn't commit certain time to book a nice session..will try again when I go over next time. :p

Anyway, I did went over to Club Mermaid (a go-go bar in Mactan island), the gals there are quite pretty and managed to get a gal back to the hotel (after confirming that gal, saw another gal coming into the bar, more fair and tall but slightly smaller asset).. Damage for bar-fine is 3500 (for 3 Hrs only) Peso and then after the session, she ask for tips 1000 Peso.. :confused:

Next night I went to the KTV in Waterfront Airport Hotel (small KTV, not many rooms), then found out the KTV boss is a Taiwanese and the style is similar to some KTV in Southern China (not as wild though..:p) but the karaoke system damned 'chui'.. see book to find song and #.. Room charge is 300 (1 time if got gals), beer is 80-100 per bottle, gals tips is per hour 390 Peso..A bit buay song because when ask the mummy if bring gal out what is the charges, she keep saying "If the gal is willing to go out with you then I will tell you" :confused:

The KTV will have performance at 11pm if business is good, but if not many customers then no performance. Friday and weekends will have live bands instead of gals performing.

All charges in the KTV is subjected to Svc Charge and VAT. Can be paid cash or card (except that if you tip the gal at the end of your session).

Also found out that when you are leaving, if you foot the bill in your room, the receipt will show the breakdown with the order slips you signed, but if you pay at the counter, only a lumpsum is shown and you got to go through all your order slips yourself (which I think they did it on purpose)..

I was supposed to fly there last Thursday and return today but Cebu Pacific pushed back my flight schedules to fri-wed..... so I cancelled my flights.
