hide contact list using samsung galaxy

sry that i know i am in wrong discussion forum, but just want you guys to help,

Is there any way to hide contact inside your contact list?

or is there any useful application can intro?

Like eg: want to sms,video call but dont link to contact list type.

Any idea?

i dun like to use my galaxy S to sms. 1 sms need to delete 3place. message, histroy and activity.

Android phone very easy to do this. Put those people you want to hide into a group (using Google account). Then go to the Contacts app, bring up the Display Options. There is a section "Choose contacts to display". Just uncheck those you dun want to appear. They'll still be available for autocomplete if you wanna send SMS though.

One of my camp buddies used to do this: If the gal name is like Jane...he will name it as Jim...but yeah..if u have too many contacts...sometimes can very hard to differentiate..hahahaha
