A 20-year-old polytechnic student has been convicted for two counts of molest.

The two molestations took place last year in May and July, at 11pm late at night.

In one of the cases, Dong Zhi Jun had followed a lone woman from a carpark into the lift of a HDB flat at Eunos Crescent. The man lunged at the 24-year-old woman and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming for help.

While the woman struggled, the man reached into her clothes and bra to grope her breasts.

The woman tried to defend herself by curling into ball and squatting down. The man instead took the chance to reach into the woman's skirt to grope her private parts.

Details of the second molest were not provided.

Dong has been since been sentenced to rehabilitation, but he is appealing for a lighter probation sentence.

Better warn our local ladies to be extra alert & careful when takin lifts with all tis foreigners esp prc, pinoy, burmese etc etc... seriously our cheng hu invite all tis "trashures" here to create more social crimes to our tiny island

He should have grabbed her breasts inside the bra , squeezed for abt 15 secs max then get the hell out of lift. Now he got caught, cannot go grab other girl's breast anymore. Stupid.
