I went out with a Viet girl I met at Geylang, of cos I was there for her services. After that we kept in touch and I asked her out yesterday. She agreed and I drove to pick her up. However she came down wearing a black see through shirt showing her bra and all, as if her short denim shorts with heels are not hot enough. She wanted to go bowling but I had to try and explain to her her dressing is not ok in SG. I had to tell her that after bringing her to a bowling alley but I panicked a little after seeing loads of families with children there.

So my question is, are bros here comfortable with going out with a girl who dresses similarly and are not afraid of stares by other people (in SG)? I'm usually quite thick skinned myself but I was thinking of the families and the young children there too. I told her not to dress that sexily again the next time we go out, at least a more decent shirt. (if we were even to keep in touch at all hah) can't really blame her as she felt that was quite normal for her in Vietnam.

It really depends on your own perspective, marrital status (married or attached?) and social status (common man? high profile? lots of friends/relatives?).

For me, I may even enjoy the attention PROVIDED that she is one hell of a hot and pretty babe where most can never have; call it men ego. I had similar experiences and it's akward in a family-going place, but as long as you don't act indecently in the public like kissing, groping her, etc. it's really just the stares. What you could do really is to buy her one of those cheapo pullover to wear.

Next time, bring her to somewhere more hip hop lor, but I don't mind she wear so sexily.
