I knew my gf through a missed call. Made friends at 1st and progress from there.

Kinda lame but just sharing since as per TS question.

Farnie story about my current squeeze: I was in Hong Kong and clubbing with a Pakistani friend who speaks no Mandarin or Cantonese. His one big mission was to bed a Chinese gal, so I played his wingman for 4 straight nights of clubbing.

On the 2nd night, we were hitting on this group of gals and I got on very well with one of them. Heard her say that she was going to another club the next day to celebrate a friend's birthday, and 'wink-wink-smile' asked me to look for her there.

3rd night and I had nothing better to do, drag my Paki friend to that other club, looking for the gal I got on well with. Couldn't find her so damn sian, but my Paki friend got to chatting with these 2 chicks whose English were not that good - hence I jumped in.

And THAT's how I met my gf. :D
