Dear diary,
Someone told me that humans have memories like sieves and as time goes by we'll start to forget. So I decided to start writing in you with the hopes of preserving my memories. Maybe 20 years down the road, I'll read this and reminisce. Don't know if I'll feel happy or sad but here goes.
Today I went for a walk with him. We enjoyed the cool night breeze. He knows that the night scares me and so he held my hand tightly. I love how he takes note of these little details.
"Stay with me," I said.
"Always and forever..." his breath was barely a whisper in my ears, a warm caress, a promise.
