A while ago, got back from China chionging trip. Well, i wasnt a regular chiongster in sg also, just occasionally.

Ok my point here is, i dont know why, when in China, i was really disturbed. When i hear their stories, like 20 yrs old only, left home alone to work here just to support family... You guys get the idea lah...

I know many of you are going to say, some of the girls are just making up the stories. I agree with you. But while i was there, i also thought to myself, which girl will want to work such a job if it wasn't because of monetary problems? And also, for them, it's a very very big country. So if they leave their home-town to work as KTV Girls, they have to leave ALONE and go far away for fear of their family members discovering.

Thus, i didn't really have a good time there at all. It just keep making me think... what if i were in their shoes, and etc. They're really poor things..

I know that, but when i chiong in Sg, i don't get that weird feeling. Only when i was in China recently.

Many of them r paying for their house or even houses which can cost about half a mil RMB n their normal salaried fellow countrymen earn something like 1k-2krmb per mth

Know the thing in-depth, its a matter of sustaining lifestyle but there r also real nice 1s out there

My guess is dat they left their home far far to come SG to work partly is becoz of monetary problems. At the same time they are hoping to hook up a rich hubby so they can live in comfort for the rest of their life. Its the same in every countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc). :)

True lah Bro, yr heart too soft, maybe u still young.......but me not asking u to be iron-hearted, juz that to take their stories wif a pinch of salt.

I believe that there r sum real cases whereby they do this to support family, with 2 old sick parents, and a few younger siblings still skolin or can't work yet due to very young age.

However, there are also gals that do this to fulfill their aspiration, like to earn the most $$ in the shortest possible time, thereafter , they will use this $$ maybe to buy a decent house in their hometown n also start up a small biz.

In a big country like china, getting a decent job may not be that easy, competition is tough, unemployment rate is high. Many smaller cities/towns ppl rush to the big cities in search of a career/dream, but in the end realise that the cruel fact is far from the idealistic picture. So sum of them may not even got enuff to pay for their journey back home. Even if they do, what happen next, they become even poorer or in debt.

So for the gals, at least there is 1 way out, get into the flesh trade lor. There, they realize that they can earn much more than the normal salaried men, and the smarter 1 will save up the $$ n plan for their future.

Then of course when they cum accross kind-hearted customers like u, they will tend to pour their sorrows, they r human too. But what can u do? Help them financially? Udun know who is telling the truth n who isn't. Summore, even if it is true, if the gal has been in this line for a period of time n has been saving, she may actually be richer than u or us (a $ to a $ lah).

So when u cheong, leave yr sympathy behind, enjoy yrself, but of course, pay for their svc accordingly lah. Like that u r oreli helping them financially for whatever their needs r. Fair transaction, no need to feel bad. The most if they tell u their stiories, juz gif a listening ear or leaning shoulder, but that's all, dun go n fork out $$ to help them, like that u bring how much there also not enuff.
