JC TN All Closed?

Went to JC Pl and JC Rd last friday with my brudder. Noticed all TN shops closed. It was abt 3pm in the afternoon. Is there a Raid going on? Can any bridders kindly advised.....Greatly appreciated......

Jus last week, saw the rows of TNs near GL lorong 21 kanna raid while I was on mi way to the coffeeshop for some supper. Nowadays raid until sebei fierce.

I rem last year before national day gt raid leh.Wah if lidat carry on,dun knw whether jc and geylang will becoming a deserted street for those who wanna go TN.

Not all closed, some of the raided shops sprung back very fast
But there are a few that is wary and playing it low

i walked past d stretch of JC abt 2 wks ago. i was tryin hard to find a TN shop that was OPEN rather than closed. Seems like d ones closed far outnumbered those opened.

Gone were those days when u walk past d stretch of JC all d way down to Koon Seng, u will see a bevy of gals waiting at d shop entrance, screaming for yr attention 'Xian shen yao an mo ma?'. It was such a wide selection n we were really spoilt for choice then. Now d place is so quiet it really lacked life apart fr d few popular eateries n pubs which keep d place alive.

Hotel 81 n Fragrance muz have regretted building their hotels there. Occupancy muz haf surely suffered. Y would 1 wanna go to a place which is d subject of frequent raids when he could romp in comfort elsewh?

Rest in peace bah, JC .......... :(

Was walking along JC yesterday in the afternoon. All of the TNs are close and there's chain outside. Think AV hit them pretty hard lately with too frequent raids.
