Reasons for buying (or not) for SBF Reputation Points


Buy:
1) Get power - to get minimum of 40 pts
2) Get back power - zapped below 40 pts
3) Hit target/Feel great - points is synonymous with "power/popularity", etc.

Will not Buy:
1) Reputation System - Upz only for contributions.
2) Not interested in points/power - can't get NTUC voucher etc.
3) Can get points free: Geylang Exchange (Pts) Thread (http://www.sammyboyforum.com/showthread.php?t=337422&page=1015)
4) Can join Premium: Premium Membership (http://www.sammyboyforum.com/showthread.php?t=338343)
5) Wrong to sell points/ have PM (4 above), trade points (3 above). Reputation System meaningless now.

SBF Members: 267,150. As expected - there is always a silent majority who are inactive, not aware, not interested etc. :p Probably more may vote - if secret (no nicks).

Statistical results is as good as whether the sample (those who voted) is representative of the bigger whole/all.

Conclusion (assuming sample good): Overwhelmingly for "Will not buy" points.
