I am putting up this thread to seek your opinion on what u bros and sis think out there..
the following is my personal opinion, nothing more, just to share:

In any opposite sex attraction or development of relationship.. I find if we have looks ( which is to our advantage), but the most important is still the charisma, the ability to listen/attentive and not forgotting the right attitude..

To me, i feel that looks is somehow like ur educational level..
it gives u e immediate advantage or standing out from the crowd.. or gets u through e interview in e case of educational level.

However, in order to allow others to keep their interest on u, u will have to show that u hav wat it takes.. a.k.a. skills, personality, character etc..
its e same as maintaining the job,...

So bros, dun despair!! Work on ur charm!! :D

i think its looks first.. but i dont mean very handsome or what. but have the charisma.. like andy lau.. den its how u bring ur self.. how u speak etc... all sums up to ur social skill. some pple no money can dua kang till like CEO :rolleyes:

Depends on what kind of relationship/attraction you're looking at.

If its those sexual or 'one night stands' type of attraction, looks will most probably come in first.

If its those serious and long-standing types of relationships, looks will be an advantage but ultimately, its how well you click with the other side.

Just to add on and sidetrack a bit, we humans r quite similar to lions in the animal kingdom. In the lion's world once the Lion conquored the lioness, she will do the hunting, taking care of the young and feeding them. For the lion, he just eat, sleep and f**k...shiok man!

Appearance matters, for a significant part of a relationship. I suppose it goes as simple as, no one likes to sleep next to a frankenstein or, for that matter, a lady from "Death becomes her".

The thing about certain inherent dislikes goes deep in the blood. In one sense, love is a necessarily biased and/or if not prejudiced process where the result is certainly one which is absolutely partial.

But, everyone is partial at one point in time or another. There is really, IMNSHO, no problem with that, except for the element of misdemeanors committed that run contrary to the trust and confidence placed on both parties in a relationship.

Personally, I prefer to be forthcoming in a relationship. But, it seems that I seldom have the opportunity to be forthcoming, especially since most girls preferred to be deliberately "misled". Ahh... well.

girls in diff stages have diff priority -

Pri school - whoever give her nice candy or lend her the newest toy
Sec school - only the tall dark cute boy in the basketball, swimming or athletic team attracted her
JC - gays with look and 10 As
Uni - good sense of humor
Working - must be romantic and caring + most important thing...car!
mid thirties - good finiancial status...a bit bald nvr mind
mid fourties - sound finiancial status...bald and belly pot can be accpeted
Fifties - as long as he bring back $$ montly on time...who cares...

just my humble thought only... :D
