what if i put into my hp and then suay suay spotchecked, or HP lost and turned in to police... same for pics?

Can they charge me for anything?

because i've been picked up by police for being drunk before and also coz they like to spotcheck nitespots. always like to choose me.

This is what I roughly know if the SMS contains threats or incriminating evidence, it is up to the register user to prove that the SMS were not sent by him. However, I would not be surprise that SMS can be submitted as evidence to Court.

Its better not to have any porno clips on your HP. Anyway the screen of the HP is also small, see also don't enjoy.

Its unlikely that you will be charge for it but then again it really depends on your luck. For example, you have past record and you were guai lan or uncooperative with them, you are likely to be charged. The IO has to submit his findings to his HI and AG Chambers before he can procceed with the charge against you. He can recommend a warning but its up to his HI & AG Chambers to accept his recommendations.

As for the drunk charge, unless you are a habitual drunken, they will not charge you. They will probably send you home if they know your address(Provided it is near by, Don't expect them to send you home in Jurong if you are found in Mohd Sultan) by searching you for NRIC. If not, they will bring you back to the Police Station and put you in a holding bay under you are sober and let you off with a warning.

When someone handover a found HP or wallet, they were searched for ownership and everything in the wallet will be recorded in NP322 Lost & Found Report infront of the the Complainant(The one who handover the found property). I would not worry if I were you as chances of anyone handing over a found HP is slim.

If you are detain and put in a cell, your personal property will be recorded and kept. They will be return to you upon your release. They will not go thru your HP unless the they suspects that there are incriminating evidence inside your HP connected to the case that you are being investigated. If you are arrested for non criminal offence, it is unlikely that they will check your HP throughly.

by right, they have no right to check your hp contents. Unless u are suspect in a case whereby the hp is involved. Eg, taking upskirt, etc

u can refuse also during a spot check if they wanna check your hp contents, but then again if u are a habitual drunkard. ;) then u better not keep anything inside which can incriminate u, cos u won't be able to say 'no".

There is no official number of times. Like I said, if you are found drunk nearby your house, they will probably send you back. If you are found far away from your house, oyu might wake up in a holding bay.

You are quite lucky that they had sent you back, but don't be surprise that one day you wake up in the middle of a graveyard! :D
