Been down for a year or so...

Try goin to the Thai Buddha Temple in East Coast or is it at Pasir Ris... The sencery is good air is fresh, just relax there and breathe in the best....

I am a firm believer that God, Jesus, Buddha, Kwan Im, Allah, Mohammed, Ganesha, Krishna, Moses, etc.. will not help those who do not help themselves. I think the most important thing for anyone to do is to pick themselves up after a bad spell and just work very hard and things will always turn for the better. All these r fates.... I dun believe in looking for it. Some ppl purposely go all the way to this so called very 'chun' place to buy the amulet, thinking it is very 'real'. This is too religious, if u know abt buddism, since when can u buy 'this'. It is faith, a teaching n not idol. U dun need an amulet to change your luck. If u r into this, remember this, what u get now was what u did b4.

I have been to Buddhist temple and church...
But this did not offer hope then.

They say I kwai... although in my view, I am not so kwai but got principles- only human mah.

Done a lot of good things... In fact, my friend introduce this sifu
after I helped him work through his own problems...

If you are more specific, then maybe someone here may be able to give the correct advise instead of speculating.

How is Buddha or God going to help you if you don't even have the initial faith? You go to the temple not truly believing in Buddha, and also go to the Church not really believing in God. And hope that maybe one of them if they exist, helps you?

The whole world is related. All of us are interlink by our mind. I am not saying anything religious. Bear in mind that, our mind (spirit) transform us to energy and lastly form. We are now living as a human being which is a type of form. Luck is an energy that is caused by very subtle mind or spirit or soul. There is no origin or begining of the world and it is also endless. We have to know that our mind have no begining. Nobody creates us. We are here due to the cycle of samsara. Even if u escape the cycle, you are still exist but is formless. Means that we back to 10 eons ago.

I myself have being wearing 3 kun peng, also dun see gals throwing themselves at me, only my relationship become very smooth sailling only. Like wat an archan told me b4, when u wear amulets u will have lots of metta but how u focus them on is very important cos of karma. Like wat bro Aviator had mention, chantign the Da bei zhou does help but make sure u chant every day .. dun only chant when u need help. yup the one u listening to is mantra of great illumination, a very simple yet powerful mantra. Upon invoking this mantra, spirits and lesser dieties will have to kneel to this mantra. Which version do u have? I have some very nice and relaxing ones too. Maybe by tommorrow i zip up the more populars chants and put in some webbie for u all to download.

You don't only need to recite Om Mani Padme Hum. You must also recite the whole set of Buddhism Chant. I hope you will be careful. I also hope that you were not born in the year of Dragon. hmm no offense ok? reciting all chants? i think that is quite impossible. By chanting the ten great small chants already take u 2 hrs, not including the sutras and pali chants. but if u really want to chant more i suggest chating the mantra of great illumination, da bei zhou and zhun ti zhou will do lah. if possible include the heart sutra or amitabha sutra. no need all lah.If strictly speaking u want only one chant just do heart sutra or da bei zhou will be enough(remember to transfer of merits after all the chants). Btw dun strick strictly to the forecast of ur future, it was mentioned in one buddhist text, we could change our fate by doing more good deeds,mindful of our speech and actions. We are not judged upon by our birth but by how we carried ourselves. The stuff i had mention above are the best to my knowledge, if any mistakes , pls pardon me.

Relax. I have no idea what's a whole set of Buddhist chant... maybe he means 1 set of scripture... like Heart Sutra or something like that.

Been having this weird back ache...
Yesterday, went get holy water.
Prayed sutra and drank... it calmed me and removed pain yesterday.
Today, whatever it is was acting up again.

Been to western docs - nothing...
TCM... only ba guan then came back.

Donno what that means...
except it makes me irritable and temper.
Not usual self. - which was one reason I came to this site
some time back.

Maybe you should try more chanting , it might help. Did u try meditation?
If all else does not work, may be you should see ur doc to get "relaxton" type of medicine. But this is only short term solution only as such medicine is quite addictive.
