Imperial Hotel is facing Jalan Alor, the famous food street.

There is a money changer on the 1st floor, beside the hotel main entrance.

There is some exterior facade renovations going on at the moment.

Beside Imperial hotel is Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Not to be confused with Sheraton Imperial Hotel at Jalan Sultan Ismail.

Hey bro, I also remember Imperial in past when they had Thai fishtank style, back in mid-90s. Oh so sad to see those golden days pass by now. Why don't they go back to that style? The place is now quite run down with very poorly maintained rooms, often quite dirty. I used to stay at Corona Inn in 2004 and 2005 whenever I go to KL and they charge me RM 80 to RM 90 for a small standard room without window but with buffet breakfast thrown in.
