Anyone brought handcuffs back to Singapore before? In LA at the moment, saw a pair of cuffs that is kinda sexy.. The cuffs are all furry! :) Buying them for a close friend of mine.. She luvs these kinda stuff! Maybe get another one for my GF!!! :)
Will there be any problems with the customs when I reach SG?

If I'm not wrong, the law doesn't allow it although I've brought back a pair before for a friend but those days, not every lauguage goes thru X-ray like now.
Anyway, you can always try. If kenna arrested, they just use your new furry handcuffs to cuff you mah, at least look sexy... :D

Woah!! That serious ah?? Gotta think twice of it already.. In the event that the customs officer discovers it, can I just surrender it and pass the customs without any fuss? :)

i remembered it was during the early 1990, our tour coach arrrived at the malaysian and thai border, we alighted for stamp chops and inspection when one of the tour members, a teenager, was found to possess a pair of handcuff . he was interrogated and fine heavily. as a result, the coach was delayed for some time.
never again shall i go on a long-distance trip onboard a coach.

Confirm it is illegal to possess such items. May it be designed for bedroom activities.

No, you have to declare it and it will be confisicated.
If you do not declare it, it will be considered as you're trying to smuggle it it.

Few year back went Aur diving with one of the local operation. One of his DM brought along a pair of handcuffs. No problem into Malaysia (maybe becos bags not scan). However, on our return to SGP, the handcuffs was spotted when going thru the X-ray.....he was stop and and interrogated by the custom officer....not sure what happen as the dive group operator decided to leave without waiting for him.......heard kanna warning and fine....
woah! Better not get it then!! :) Not worth it to go through all those trouble!! :(

Yes handcuffs like the ones used by law enforcer is illegal. I bought a pair in Bangkok and was confiscated upon arrival in Changi. U can see the list of illegal goods in the brochure printed by immigration, handcuff is just one such item.

Been to Pearl Centre today for lunch and visit adult shop manned by a young lady.. and saw plenty of handcuff, dog collar and foot-cuff there..
The price is at least S$45 ...
It is better than buying overseas , then bring back to Singapore..

I brought a pair of handcuffs and thumbcuffs from Thailand back last time when I went SAF overseas training.....came back on a C-130 and smuggled them thru the 'ops box'....my army buddies brought back air pistols, stun guns, switchblades and what have you......but the cuffs now turned rusty already and I misplaced the keys too so never use already:D

last year i went to bangkok n brought back a pair but when going throught the xray scan i was caught. later i was handed over to the bedok police station for investigation. they ask me how i got it. i just bought them on the streets n bring back. i told them i dun know its illegal. so they gave me a warning n let me off.:p
Going to Bangkok for the Good Friday weekend... Anyone knows of any Adult Novelty stores in Bangkok that I can visit? :) Time to get more toys!! :D
