I have a friend whose wife used to work in Singapore legal red light district for 8 months(Fishtank).
It has been past 2 years from the day she return to Thailand.

They are married legally in Thailand, he need to know if by now, his wife is able to enter Singapore as tourist to visit his parents.

Please help if anyone have experience or knowledge on this.
He doesnt have rights to post in Sammyboy thus request my help.

TS, your friend can go under ICA website and check. Thais does not need a visa for entering as tourist. if she is deny entry, then could be for other reason. anyways i have post the link below for your ref.

Discretion of the ICA Officer upon entry. She might be called into the interview room at airport and Officer On Duty to determine her real purpose of entry into Singapore. So to convince the Officer, juz make sure she got the marriage cert doesnt matter if in Thai, copy of the husband IC so Officer can tally name and IC number on marriage cert, return air tix and sufficient finances. But again no guaranteed entry, all is at discretion of the ICA Officer :)

Actually the official answer is No.

They, the "yellow" card worker should have been advised of this when she 1st got her approval. It is very different from other work permit holders.

The best is to try and register the marriage at ROM. If it clears ROM, then high chance to clear ICA.

Bring Enough Cash on Hand and mentioned that she is here on holiday with husband. custom will check her cash amount and also call you to verify all these.

Not trying to be funny but a little confuse here..... If denied entry to Singapore how to register marriage at ROM? :confused:Btw WP holders if wan marry Singaporean must seek permission from MOM first :D
