Why don't you post your pictures full size. It's a waste to shoot at a high resolution and then reduce it by more than 50%.

I do not mind posting teh original high resolution pic at all but the problem is this forum would not allow me only limited file size are allowed. That is why I have to reduce it.

You need to reduce the FILE size but you don't have to reduce the IMAGE size.

I posted your pix at the original image resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels but the file size is only 76kb.

You reduced your images to 600 x 450 pixels but all your pix are around 110kb to 130kb.

Just adjust the jpg compression. Don't touch the image size.

Sorry, I reckon I am a computer illiterate. How can I adjust the file size by maintaining the resolution???

By adjusting jpg compression settings. A setting of around 25% will do the trick. In some image editors, there are "High", "Medium" and "Low" settings. Selecting "low" will do the trick... more than sufficient for displaying on a monitor.

It's only when you want to print the image are higher settings required.
