110kg and pesB ? what is your bmi? over a certain limit of BMI, can warrant a pesC due to obesity.

Can you please explain you heel injury? how did it happen? was it after enlistment? how is it affecting you?
If recovery is an option , lowest is a B2L3 if with minimum/negligible side effect/pain.

Please get a referral to a specialist from a government hospital (fully covered by 11B), as some MO might be sceptical about private doctors. Do request a MRI if nerves/ligaments come into question.

best case is that the specialist recommends a downpes. if MRI report suggests anything out of the norm, MO will refer to his "secret pink book" and see which PES is suitable for you.

If you dont have any chaokeng history, or frequent visitor to the Medical Centre,
Add a bit of acting ... sure C9L9.

need letter from specialist..
usually the 1st step would be excuse lower limb/ippt for a period of time

after that they will ask u back to "renew" yr excuse and this period of time u have to continue yr physio/whatever the specialist recommend u

this will ding dong abit until they submit yr case up for medical board review
with a recommendation by the specialist the case is usually quite strong for a down pes

but u have to make sure yr excuse period doesnt laspe - meaning no window of which u have no excuse from ippt otherwise another headache

plantar fasciities I believe it a bit difficult to downgrade.

for my case I have high arch feet, my GE private specialist wrote a strong worded letter recommend me for downgrade and excuse boot.
went for medical board but downgrade was rejected by medical board sgh specialist.
spent some money go for a mri if you really want downgrade and ask yr specialist to write a strong recommendation for downgrade

56kg then and pes b. i find it no point talk to my camp MO.
Most MO will tell you it ok. unless you keep reporting sick till yr file is thick thick, then they might sent u for specialist review.

i got 6 mth excuse from my mo using my specialist recommendation letter while pending for my medical board. i pretty lucky i got post out under holding list after i got my long term excuse.

without a mri report, yr chances of downgrading is almost zero.

You're asking a basic question anyone who keng can tell you

See mo establish a record.
See specialist get report n up to mo to give u medical review.

It depends on yr injury n yr camp.
Some camps, even if you diwngrade, you can't go.
I feel sorry for those ppl who are injured bt can't downgrade n are in pain n have to stay in camp. After ord, don't think saf take care of them.

Becareful wad u wish for

I know many ppl where t unit refuse to let them go
So they go medical review after medical review n are excused ippt etc bt they have to do t rest. If cannot do, they'll b made to volunteer n do stores etc.

And they've to follow t units timing. So have to stay in
And of cos ppl jealous of them at t same time n say they're kenging

bo la..not expert..
just been through the process..
tbh it's a chore coz the original excuse was for like 6mths/12mths
so I need to go back whenever it's expiring to renew..imagine going back for a 5min talk with the MO but needing to wait like 2hrs
ding dong for like 2-3 years till they reviewed my case

can i used my 6 mth old medical report to give to MO?

bro
that time i was referred from my MO to get a x-ray and MRI
so after i get the results i need to send it to them or the hospital automatically sent them one..cant rem also

but like many bros here mention, yr specialist letter will be yr biggest bullet la..
i actually specifically requested my specialist to write that I am not fit for ippt

honestly i dunno anyone who downpes due to plantar fasciitis
usually ACL/slipped disc most common and i suppose these are the straight forward cases

private specialist maybe can help u more.. but if not u better widen ur reason why u cannot take ippt and it affecting ur daily activities. higher chance.

If directive don’t change much, I’ll write stuff decades ago.

If there’s no operation done onto the limbs, it’s unlikely to go below Pes A, B or BP. Active NSF & Reg will have to go physio. But excuses MC off that injure area will be given. Pes C1 (upper limb), C2 (lower limb) & C9 (back) are for non-permanent disable injury. Pes E is for permanent disable injury.

To be exempted for IPPT, make sure that there’s 6 months of light duty MC without a single day break for that window.

For active NSF Reg in non-combat unit, just tell MO & he can issue light duty 61 days straight (except in BMT). If need to see gov hospital specialist, just tell MO to arrange or ownself arrange If need to see private specialist, svc men is to arrange himself.

For active NSF Reg in combat unit, light duty MC all depends on unit CSM, OC, RSM & CO.

For NSmen & before enlistment svc men, just get light duty MC from GP. If need to see gov or private specialist, svc men is to arrange himself.

When seeing specialist, please request the specialist to write a Meno calling the camp MO to apply for medical board review for a downgrade or upgrade for the svc men. Then wait for good news.

(Rumor) to buy private specialist letter, please check with ex & present men & women from Army Logistic Formation for contacts. Decades ago was S$100. Now, probably S$1000 or 10000. Or go third world country buy cheap specialist letter. If medical board requires evidences, lab technician can adjust the machine until it shows a problem.

Take note, that all specialist & GP from gov or private & including camp MO or specialist from medical board; all have worldwide recognize MBBS. Unlikely, Meno & MC will be turned down for life threatening situation.

During ICT, if don’t want to go outfield, just get light duty MC from camp MO & sleep in bunk. Take note, those on-the-ball combat NS unit may off-pro the svc men or write high-key clock as low-key for not going to field. Using low-key method, svc men need 20 low-key to MR ROD.

For Pes F, please read my old tread on army issues: https://www.sammyboyforum.com/showthread.php?t=545269

do you intend to reduce your weight, if not then your next likely injury will be your knee pain.

you need to reduce your weight fast else you'll be spending a lot of money on medical fees in future.

like me i m a kachang puteh man standing whole day selling peanuts end up having same problem as you, its suffering man :D
