i am currently 21 years old, studying in nus year 3 medicine. I am a introvert but was asked by my seniors to join nus cheerleading and I agreed to join to overcome my shyness especially towards guys since i was in a girls school for my secondary education. I get very shy when guys talk to me. It also came across my mind that many of my friends already sexually active but i realise i nvr felt horny before and never masterbate in my life. before.
Am i abnormal?

Sure you can. Most importantly learn how to make friends and socialize. I've been an introvert as well. It takes alot of courage to step out of our comfort zone. Don't have to take it sexually, though yes this is a sex forum. But you don't have to go to that first, you'll need to feel comfortable around people.
Think of how to strike a conversation, be it guys or girls. We are all humans.
The old me, whenever girls talks to me, i'd run away as i find them scary. Took me loads of courage and experience to be who i am now.
I've loads to improve as a person, but never stop learning. Never give up. Be more confident of yourself and people will come to you naturally.

A little abnormal for a medical student...imho doctors male or female shdn't be shy abt the opposite sex ;)...if they are, tink they shd hv been trained on tis during their course in medical sch...how to be shy :o if u are a doc & r required to attend or examine a patient of the opposite sex ???...fortunately, so far hv not come across any female doc who refuses to attend to me cos of shyness ;)
