An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Guangzhou police recently arrested 28 members of a prostitution ring and seized more than 10,000 Yuan in cash, five cars, cell phones, and a POS machine. That’s right, this particular Guangzhou ring took credit card payments for their services.

13 women arrested for prostitution, along with 15 gang members, and 9 male clients. The ring specialized in online prostitution.

The gang worked in and out of a hotel, and divided up labor accordingly. Some members were responsible for organization and coordination, others dealt with the online aspect of the business, and some had menial tasks like driving and cleaning. The gang would use special software to recruit clients and bring them to the hotel.

The gang’s clients were mainly executives from major enterprises in Hangzhou. The men were wealthy and powerful, but also wanted to have fun. They were struck by the mysterious and skilled women and happy to follow the rules of the organizing gang.

Police actually had been building a case against the main suspect in the case, Mi, since July 2014. Mi organized connections between prostitutes and customers in a number of one-star hotels throughout the city.

Mi is currently in criminal detention along with the prostitutes and clients
