Somehow, my relationship with Danine progressed to another level from that day on... She really didn't seem to care about being secretive when she was out with me anymore. We'd go out in the broad daylight and she would initiate holding hands, at times introducing me as her bf to some of her friends that we bumped into (those hi-bye frds whom do not know her husband).

This was the start of a new chapter, we were like a real couple and it was what I've always wanted. Danine knows this, and she was doing everything she could to please me. Sometimes it even felt like she wanted our relationship to be found out by her husband. She would meet me almost everyday and go back home late constantly, spend her weekends with me. Perhaps it was easier for her this way rather than to say it out in words to him...

Me: How's everything with him?

Danine: we haven't spoken much lately

Me: doesn't he get angry when you...

Danine: I think he is trying to avoid the topic... And I just don't know how to talk to him about it... I feel guilty when I see him like this... Fact is, he's done nothing wrong... (Sobbing)

Me: he knows that you're seeing someone?

Danine: yes he should know, caught him checking through my messages on my hp the other day

Me: funny lei, he nvr call me... How abt u? Do u really know what u want?

Danine: ever since we broke up the other time, I know I can't do without you in my life... But now... I can't bring myself to hurt him...

I know it wasn't easy for Danine, I felt bad about the situation too. Someone had to be sacrificed in this relationship. Love is selfish I guess.

During the past months that we've been together, Danine and I didn't really talk about her "bf" much... afterall, it was really just all about us. Danine never liked mentioning about her "bf". Maybe she didn't want to make comparisons, or it could be she didn't want to add in more lies to cover the initial one that she was actually married... I never did ask her why. Well for me, I didn't want to remind her about anyone else when she was with me just so that we could truly enjoy each other's company.

Later on into the relationship, we were probably in self denial and decided not to have the topic of her "bf" altogether. But the day came when we couldn't live in our fantasy world anymore. I came to realize that she was married and her hubby too found out about us. Thinking back, it was just a matter of time wasn't it. So for the first time, Danine and i spoke about her hubby in detail. What was he really like, their common interests... the feelings that she felt for him... even down to the point about his relationship with her parents, siblings.

So here's the chapter on Danine's "bf".

If I were to give him an anonymous name, I'd think Leonardo or Leonard suits his character pretty well. Not Leonardo Dicaprio from Titanic, Leonardo from teenage mutant ninja turtles (if you did not watch TMNT cartoon series when you were younger, you may not get it). Leonard was not those suave romantic types, he was a more stable matured type of dude. Faithful to his family, contented... the typical Mr Nice Guy type of character.

This is just my opinion but with a bf, she's single (and available) as she still hv the right to choose her partner. To me marriage is an act of commitment. To some others, marriage could be sacred.
