We met on wechat. I told her I was married and she told me she was married. I said my marriage had betrayal and she said she is similar too.

I said I am not scared as I can come back SG and start afresh. But if he does that to me, I will do the same to him with his company.

So now see what happens. I do suspect they both are cahoots.

In China, hiring a hitman is like calling an Uber car.

An app in China allows customers to hire thugs to beat up their enemies, the China Times reported. Didi Da Ren — which means Didi Hit People — was available through the Android app store before its creators pulled it last week. Users can still find the Uber-like app in several third-party stores.

Customers post “help wanted” ads through the app, listing how much damage they want done and their asking price. For-hire fighters — including gym coaches, soldiers, gangsters and outlaws — typically charge between $30 and $80 for an attack.

The illegal app has been downloaded more than 40,000 times, the Independent reported.

Didi Da Ren was first proposed as a joke by an online talk show before developer Changsha Zhang Kong Information Technology Ltd. stepped in and created the mobile service.

The company claimed the app matched workers with odd jobs and did not tolerate posters seeking hitmen. Still, after rumors swirled that customers could hire an attacker through the app, a local Chinese newspaper put it to the test.

A reporter offering 32 cents for a beating posted on the app, and another user answered the post with a phone number. When the reporter called the number, a man explained that he charged between $32 and $80 for a pounding. The man, who called himself “Lei,” promised he could send any victim to the hospital and claimed that for the right price, he'd go as far as the customer wanted.

Lei, who said he needed two days’ notice before the attack, asked the reporter when and where he could corner the victim. He also asked for a photo to identify his target. Payment — which could be wired through another app — would be collected after the beatdown, he said.

The app is not related to Didi Dache, China’s version of Uber. But Didi Da Ren's developers admitted they selected its name because it sounded similar to the ride-catching app.

Didi Da Ren staffers also confessed that they had seen listings seeking hitmen on the app before, but they said those kind of illegal ads were swiftly deleted.

The company pulled the app from the Android store Thursday, but it is still available in several third-party stores.
