How to get out of addiction to sex

I'm in my late forties and have been cheonging HC, FL etc. for many many years. I tried to get myself out of this addiction but didn't really work. Just plain high sex drive and pretty SYTs still turns me on. :o

Fellow samsters here have any good suggestions on how to get out of this addiction? This bad habit is burning big holes in my pocket. Average $3-400 a month on cheonging. Sibeh Siong man! It is time I really call it quits...

Sigh, I'm also trying without much success.

What I do nowadays is to restrict myself to the TN/massage places that provides HJ only. I am trying not to go for FJ/BJ.

My next target is to reduce the number of times I go, from once a week to once a fortnight. Hopefully in 6 months' time, I can reduce it to once a month max.

Thereafter, my new target would be to reduce it to once every two months, and to stop completely after a year or so.

I tried going cold turkey but it was really tough, especially with so many temptations lurking around in SBF.:D

i'm facing the same issue too...so below's what i did :

1) tried to work myself to death - but the occasionately late night supper at GL with colleagues ain't helping much.

2) tried taking a hobby to take up my time - end up painting nude anime figuring.

3) tried taking a sport as hobby - spending the weekend roller blading at East Coast just simply back fired.

4) tried forming a team to play soccer - choose the wrong venue, we played at marina south and after some hard tacklings, i end up lossening my aching legs at DHC.

5) when i tried spending my time setting a web site or write blog, i end up surfing SBF and writing "dirty" stories...

6) now still trying....:o :D

- the pics and links exchanges are great - can DIY
- the FRs on the local HC scene
- can research cheong places overseas
- OKT hawking their chicks

how to resist the temptation like this?
i like the idea of switching over to just HJ and gradually cutting down the frequency.

Trying my best.. picked up too many hobbies seriously.. spent too much to chiong... photography, pool, blading, tennis, tech toys, cycling, etc..

urge is there.. but really gotta curb the michael douglas syndrome.. I realised also that we think too much about sex when we got too much free time in our hands.. coupled with the fact that most addicts are both introverted and/or extroverted, I feel there should be both ways to solve it.

home-boys can play PC MMPORG's, read comics, pick up cooking..

outties can take up social activities... I do both.. especially difficult now as I'm all alone in China with lots of time and freedom from my CO. But as I've said.. I'm trying my best.. it's working so far..

Change your SBF password and block off all porno sites from your PC. Then delete all your porn files from your computer. Last but not least no DIY for 1 week. If you survive the cold turkey treatment good for you. Most people have gone mad trying it.

i just stopped very naturally after i have been together with my current gf for 1 year..have been together for 3 years liao..

think the main reason i stopped is because she is really a very good girl and i didn't want to hurt her and it prick my conscience whenever i think of myself engaging in commercial sex behind her back..

Tried to cold turkey yourself? Just give yourself a few days and concentrate on something else like a hobby or go on a holiday with your family. Think the former works better. Probably very hard at first but you'll need lots of perseverance to get through.

OK, Saltpeter, also known as Potassium Nitrate will lower libido, it was used in prisons a long time ago. This is the same stuff used in gun powder. Look it up on the net to check dosages.

But look at it this way. You are in your 40s you only have a few more years before maybe the hydraulics don't work anymore, and you may need viagra. So just enjoy it while you can. :D Maybe you need a FB instead of paying for the SYTs.

Btw the above method only help u to save money but not getting out of addiction of sex. High sex drive is to due the chemical produce in our body (dunno wat testro****, estrogen and hormone, spellin may be wrong) so i dun think can solve w/o medication.

Let me give you some suggestions.

1. Chop it off. For obvious reasons, it's 100% effective. :D

2. Find 1 or a few fuck buddies. Free mah. So will save you $300-400 monthly.

3. Practical one ah. Cut up all you ATM and Credit Cards. So next time you need cash for sex, you will need to go queue up at the bank to withdraw. Very troublesome and most people dun have time to do this as they work 9-5.

the biggest concern is really not $$$. $3-400 a month is not a small sum of money but if can cut down expenses on other things, still can manage lah. i have been cheonging for the past 10+ years liao. always practice safe sex and so far so good. it is the health part that i am more worried about. like PCK used to say - dont pray pray...

some of the samsters also bring out a good point. i am already 40+ (more than 45 to be exact.) how many more years can my didi still function? must cheong while i still can right? i feel so damn bloody shiok each time i make love to young chicks. make me feel young again. this is something that DIY cannot replace...

can join church counselling session but usually church got many SYTs so initial period will be even tougher. but hang on , they 'wash' ur brain til u very clean, even naked woman in front of u also wun make u steam( except ur own wife or gf). Try it, got 1 church at Margaret drive call COOS-church of our Saviour. They specialise in counselling, free one, every wed.But u need to book many weeks b4.went b4 cos i also got this problem . Now quite ok liao but still visit Sammyboy la. I empathise cos been in the same situation b4. :)
