Hi guys,
Will like to ask if anyone know of ways / apps to decrease the max capacity of your Iphone.
Background:
Want to replace current Iphone battery before the $38 battery replacement offer ends on 31 Dec 2018.
Heard that Battery Max Capacity needs to be below 80% to be able to get the $38 battery replacement.
Any Apple workers / inside information?

Discharge the battery until battery flat. Let the battery flat for 1 month. During this 1 month don't charge the battery

I was just at A.Lab on Tuesday to replace the battery on my iPhone 6S Plus.
Replacement is at $38.
They will replace the iPhone battery at your request. The recommended replacement is when max capacity is >80% or between 500-800 charging cycles (their diagnostic software will detect how many charge cycles on the phone).
My phone was at 83% & they replaced the battery at my request. Takes about 1hr. Make an appointment in advance first. Go through Apple Support website.
Check what your battery max capacity, if 90% or so, should have no usage issue.

Bro, what do you mean by max capacity? Anyway find out what is. My max capacity?? I thought if your batt is gone case, the max capacity should be lower? Why >80% then can replace??

How to determine battery capacity? All depends on usage and network.
Unless totally defective then can replace under warranty
