Well, because the rules of the arrangement are different, depending on the couple. There is no specific definition, it all depends on what people are comfortable with getting into.

Yes, there are "pay and fuck" arrangements without further obligations. No dates, full discretion, meet-ups in hotels, no other expectations. To me, this is no different from hiring the same prostitute several times a month. Which is not what I'm looking for. But for other people who are married and looking to fool around outside, this works for them. No judgment here - "willing buyer willing seller".

In the current arrangement I have, she wanted not to be seen as an SB, but a girlfriend who needs financial assistance. So we do bf/gf things. Movie dates, Netflix and chill at my place. Walking the dog together. Stuff like that. Naturally, this includes a fancy dinner for Valentine's Day, which if I may add she agreed to with enthusiasm in advance.

Suffice to say, she claimed to be unable to meet. And is not even willing to meet below her place for me to pass her a gift. I gave her no pressure to do so and just said "ok". But in my head, especially since this is not the first time something like that happened, she is no longer fulfilling the terms of our arrangement.

Which is why I'm putting myself out here again, as well as reactivating all my previously deleted dating apps.
