Yes, I am a regular.

I book 4 star hotel for few hours .
Yes, Dayuse will begin operation after June 1, 2020
(But that depends on whether Singapore Tourism Board grant approval to those hotels to take in Singaporeans.)

You book hotel listed in Dayuse app and you go to hotel on that day and pay cash /credit card.

That's all

different hotels got different system, so have to read the fine print carefully...
unlike budget hotels where u book for 2-3hr block and u can check in at your convenience, meaning u reach at 9.30pm, the timer starts running at 9.30pm...
dayuse rooms are at fixed hour blocks, 10am - 6pm, 12pm - 6pm and non negotiable, these 2 are the more common time slots...
say u book the 12pm - 6pm slot, then u reach at 3pm, u cant say i want to stay till 9pm, even if u check in at 5pm, die die 6pm u must check out...
although for 4-5stars they are not so rigid at 6pm check out time...
4-5 stars hotel introduced this dayuse system so as to maximise their profits during the afternoon slots where there are late check in, so the rooms dont go to waste...

Yup, tried before, if you want a better taste of hotels other than budget hotels then this is for you. Works the same way but irregular non fixed timing, you get the timing that the hotel provided at that point in time.

Do you need 2 ic/permit when checking in? When booking online or app booking, need the other person detail?
Thanks
