I decided to check it out with 4 bros. In short, it sucked!

Visited the place 3 times so far. Newly renovated, fresh furnishings. Check out the wallpapers, it's the only thing nice in my opinion.
Price for martell vsop is $398 if I dun recall wrongly. Only gripe is no LCD/ Plasma tv, except for 1 or 2 rooms. And the mic is NOT wireless...
Was told the AV's from Lisboa, hence the cost saving measures.

And in the hall there are pole dancers fr thailand dancing at certain times.

Yes, some bros here said it right. The girls, fr PRC, viet & local cannot play. Was told the same reason, place still new...

Nothing to shout abt, really. Was there to support the mummy and the management.

And yes, confirmed happy hrs starting soon. Ard next week.

Went to finish off our considerable balance yesterday.

Place is pretty empty for a friday nite. Even emptier than the last time I went, which was a thursday. Girl sitting with my bro even complained that she had not enough tables to butterfly and actually went off early cos of that. And the place was freezing cos there simply weren't enough bodies in the place. Also, the girls hard-selling the ladies drinks/shots were starting to piss my bros off.

What I can't figure out is - my girl said she had only 3 tables to run. But each time she will sit 5 mins with me and then disappear for 45mins at least. Fortunately she managed to redeem herself at the end with a longer stint, even though she didn't know I was leaving. As a first post and a newbie KTV chiongster, I am going to try to give a recent FR/update/changes to Club Armani.

Disclaimer : I am writing this in the context that this is the 2nd KTV that i have been to ; I never screwed a pros in my life ; I am slightly below 30 ; I make less than 5k a month ; I don't believe in God ; I have a steady GF. Please feel free to disagree as other brothers might not agree totally with what i said due to our differing background, but i just want to share.

Been there 4 times in 3 weeks this month - Wednesday HH, Tuesday 2nd Shift, Wednesday 2nd shift and Friday 10pm-3am. I was just there last night for the Friday one.

Most recent change is that they used to have a mummy system on 3rd shift, but their system also quite weird. Always i ask the girls which mummy they are with and the standard response is - Bu Yi Ding (not confirmed). I clarify with mummy and they confirmed that this was the case. I don't know how other KTV works but kinda weird if you need mummy and the girls are still going on butterfly. However coming 20th May 2008, they will scrap the mummy system and go on full butterfly.

Mummy Carol and Asst Mummy Jasmine was serving us on Friday night. They will have to change location and will be moving to a certain KTV in Orchard Plaza. Go guess ;). I know got 2 famous one there but they claim that i'll be able to find them in either one.

They still have this pole dancing event at about 1am. Kinda novelty and can view the dancing from inside the room TV.

Just on Thursday, they installed a new pool table.

There are 3 pricing schemes.

Happy Hour
From 3 - 6pm, you get to drink free flow for 18++ with fruit and nuts. I took a small room with 2 other buddys and total damage just for drinks + fruit + nuts = $118.72. No room charges. Extremely worth it for those who can eat snake in the afternoon or don't have to work.

2nd Shift
From 6-9pm, order 4 jug to waive room charges, i can't remember but i roughly recall that its 38 per jug with total damage coming up to about 200+ for 4 jugs + fruits & nuts. On that Tuesday, we went down quite late, at about 7.30pm. Drink for a while then tell us 3rd shift coming and want us to order more beer or open bottle. Open bottle is $398. We asked to just pay for room charges because we still have 2 jug have not finished and was quoted $168.

3rd Shift
From 9-3am, order 4 jugs at $58/jug + fruit & nuts. Or open 1 bottle at 398 nett and no other charges. Me and my 2 other buddies opened 2 bottles. The waiter told us that we can come during HH and drink the booze and only pay Fruit & nuts for 2 sessions.

The place looks cleaner than bs & nsh.
The main hall is quite nicely deco & the environment is nice.
As i was only there during HH,therefore k only comment on the HH only 4 nw.
The gals r not 2 bad,u k see some gals fr San Feng & the ktv @ the plaza.
But 1 thing i feel that it is better than bs & nsh is that the gals here don't butterfly so often.

first time been there on tuesday evening invited by my customer; and spent from 6 till 10.30pm during HH...this place is quite nice and packed with a lot of customer u ever seen. no mummy system was carried out here and i felt that viet & prc gals are half half.

sat with total 5 gals include 2 standby singers, which heard from them the flower joint session will start on 10Aug. one of singer was brought by BOSS ivan (this place is also owned by shen hua) is quite pretty & chio. she is new in spore only her 2nd day, called Amy 23+.

but later on, my surprices is a familar pretty and quality gal walk-in; and i realised that she is xiao ting from shen hua (the gals who look alike Faye from FIR). she is also first day tried in Armani, and she claimed that she wanna to try here at HH cos no much bussiness at shen hua during HH. and she told me that i was vy vy 1st customer for her at armani...ha ha.

If you buy meat at Sheng Siong, it cost $2. The same meat can cost $3.50 at Cold Storage. You should tell her that you met her at Armani, the rate is say is $100 or $150 per shot and $300 for overnight.

yes..this is their "standard" market rate if u visited that place and take her out on the same night, cos $50 need to give to their mummy...

but if she asked u out, then the outside market is only 200 buck and over night is depend...300-400 buck...

was there last friday and saw just a handful of singers singing on the high stage, kinda strange though.

normally i only drop-by show face only during weekday HH...from 7-8pm...cos night hr got entertainment at another joint...

quite fun if cheong with friends or buddy....but totally difference with client/customer entertainment...like working OT

just an update to some bros here who are not aware that singers have started singing at this joint.
was there last friday and saw just a handful of singers singing on the high stage, kinda strange though.
well, another flower joint for bros who prefer singers.
just curious how are these singers to survive against the other SYTs at this joint?!
many of the SYTs are younger and sweeter, yet more economical.
furthermore, many people are there not for singers, else they (including me) might as well go to HFJs, right?
there are so many HFJs with better quality singers around / not too far away; Pebbles (one of my personal fav), HKP (more ex than pebbles), huang Jin Shi Dai (never tried before), Da Du Hui (cheap beer during HH; $26), Hoomiko (never tried before), New World (never tried before), 21st Century (recommendable; spoilt for choice for singers),Phoenix (recommendable; not many customers and singers can spend quite a lot of time with) and there is another one in Eminent (not too sure what is the name; tian xia something-something, i think. not really a place for singer-goers.)
anyway, this post is just for information, for budget cheongsters.
there is never any issue for big-time singer-spenders.
