I had been an extremely active cheongsters for many many years. Now I died down a lot and am happy with current "companions" whom I limit to a few.

Seems that there are many young men/guys/nsfs here who are bent on getting girls of their dreams but cant. So I would like to share my personal real-life observation about my own life and reseach. No bullshit for sure and it borders on my personal experiences with chicks in Singapore.

Before I entered NS, I was really poor. I had quite a difficult times hooking up girls. For sure it was because like 90% of the guys here, I am not good looking for sure. However, I still manage to hook up about 50 local gals, not FLs mind you, through various channels. IRC, friends recommendations and then follow up.

Those were the times where there were no HPs, no sms, No msn, no friendsters or whatnot and all these silly craps. Therefore, getting to kao gals was damn hell more difficult than now. No such thing as sending msn to kao girls so that you can hide behind your PC.

The fact that I still manage to lay down some girls, of which 5-10 are virgins who are basically in their late 20s or even early 30s, shows that u can still up girls despite not having the wealth factor. However, wealth factor is a crucial one though. You need to have that, not for the gals but for yourself, your family if u decide to settle down.

When i focus more on my career, suddenly found that it is THAT easy to hook up ladies ( OLs, Air stew etc ) when u are rich.

You basically dont have to invest in a MERCs or BMW to spoil your budget. Cos these are depreciating assets. You buy and after sometime when your statements come, you cry. So whats the point? However, must agree this is important.

Save enough money. Eat less good food. Dont watch movies or go shopping. Save money for 5-10 years and work like a dog.

Buy your first commercial properties ( factories / offices etc )

then use the money, rent out, buy a few other commercial properties.

Girls know already, will go gaga. Why? Let me elaborate.

Buying commercial units is definitely not like buying a 5-room HDB. HDB, well, u can use CPF to buy. After working for 5-10 years in the civil service for example, who the hell wont have money to buy HDB??? CPF is forced saving. Therefore, any tom dick or harry can buy. No gals will be impressed if u were to tell them that you own one bloody small 3 room flat and paying S$800 monthly instalment per month through.... CPF. *shake head*

For commercial units, a 30% deposit will mean a hefty S$100,000 in COLD HARD CASH fo sure. You cant run away from this. You cant run away by using CPF to pay. The government will ask u to Fxxx off. Tell me, how many guys in Singapore have the ability to come up with S$100k in cold hard cash multiply by the number of office units he has purchased? Very Very limited. I can tell u that many BMW guy owners who are in their early 30s slogged like donkey to pay off their BMW but at the end of the day, they faced a depreciating car without much value. They dont see the returns.

When u got your own offices and when rentals start reaping in after years, then u can go for better cars. If not, a normal vios or lancer will do, esp with the hefty petrol rate in singapore.

But dude, you must be humourous. Gals should agree with me that they rather go out with a guy who can joke rather than be with a scholar who talks birdshit. I mean, who dont want to enjoy the company of someone who can joke? IT makes the gals feel at ease. It makes them feel happy being with u because at the same time, u are destressing them. No stress when going out with u.

Remember, you dont need to be handsome but at least know how to dress a bit better.

Trust me, with a few commercial properties under your belt, a good sense of humour, a decent looking Japanese car and not too petty, you can land the girl of your dreams.

The problem starts when you reached your pinnacle. Girls mean nothing much to u. You see chio bu on the street. Yes, u want to keep ogling even when u are driving.

Sadly, the urge to up them isnt so strong and there anymore. IT has reached a point whereby GOT or DONT have doesnt make a difference. Cos when some things are too easily achieved, you dont feel so desperate getting it anymore.

you buy the office space or warehouse space then you divide into smaller partition and rent out or rent out the whole unit.

Commercial units mean factories, shops, offices, etc. Anywhere that you can do business. Of course, please dont take those illegal roadside stall as an office unit.

Yes, if u have problems renting out WHOLE offices in dull markets, make it into small partititions and rent it out. With so many foreigners coming in on so many pathetic kind of passes, S-pass, entreprenuer pass, fucker pass etc, its easy to get FTs to rent a small office unit.

Demand for commercial property has not gone down. Even if it goes down, I am not afraid. Whatever goes down will come up. The most important thing to note is your HOLDing power. Therefore, never buy a good car which drinks petrol much. Use extra spare cash to improve your holding and bargaining power.

This approach not only attracts women but most important ensure a more financially secure path for yourself and your family. Total = $102,000

I lost the oppotunity to save the $102,000. But I enjoyed my life in my 20's when I and young, energetic and fit. No problem in hooking up alot local SYT.

It is now rented to a restaurant (means considerable size unit). Monthly income can support the entire family (4 grown ups plus mother). If you work hard enough, should be faster to get that $100K. Maybe 2 -3 years time, or even half a year. If you use 10 long years, by that time, i think property might have gone at least 20% - 30% higher, and $100K wouldn't be enough. And after saving up $100k, still need to have extra cash in your pocket, at least another $10 - 20K, so the total sum should be around $120K.

It's too late for me to save up.. My current car is fully paid up.. But only last week i confirm my new car already.. Otherwide I can save up another maybe $3 - $5k down the road for 2 -3 years.

I agree with you but i would say that for looks, no one can change unless go for cosmetic surgeon.

For cars - if you know how to buy/sell, you might be driving for free. I own a sports coupe (Convertible) myself when i was 23. But the car was free and i still earn after deducting all expenses when i sell it off.. Of course opportunity doesn't always knocks on you. But driving a old car with full modification will also do, of course outlook dun be too ah beng, it can be quite tiong look and the car must be fast enough. Because you can tell them that what for drives a WRX, Integra whereas they can't even beat my car.. But of course for me, i still perfer comfort cars, that why i'm changing from tiong cars to normal sedan. More comfortable..

Card / Cash - I think cash would be the best. But you can have cash but no need to spent if off. I've tried before using card and cash as a comparison and research. You can have a platimum card or whatever card you have, and you sign and sign at a high class restaurant, high end boutique. The gal might only think you are a big spender. But if you bring $3- $5K in your pocket, but bringing her to hawker centre or coffee shop with good food, eg like Punggol Nasi lemak Centre. The gal will still think you are rich, and at the end of the day.. Your money is still in your pocket.. Expensive food is not always the best, but nice foods which you consume in regards of the price birghtens up your day. There are so many places with good foods and the price is not expensive at all. And if you wana save even more, go to Malaysia lor.. Even more good food with lowest price. Eating till you bust your stomach and it will never go beyong S$100 for 2 person, and still can save a bit on your petrol.

Personality / Character - You can change a bit intially but shows your tail in the end. Depends on the gal also. If the gal is really your dream gal and she is good to be your future wife. So what is you really change a bit for her but of course change to the better.

I tried to do what the TS suggested. Target $20 k property. Saved $20k, property went up to $50k. Saved $50k, property went up to $100k. By the time I saved $100k, property went up to $1 million. :( In the end can only buy HDB flat and only only enough to pay partial payment.

As for chasing after decent gals (Non FL or WL), most of them are out to look for a husband during those days. U need to spend much time, patience and money to buy her heart. If u bonk and run, u break her heart. If she is timid, jump from 14 story (That time the highest Government flat in Singapore). I also got to know one OL holding high post and driving a big car. Turned out to be a miser. Treated me like a sucker. She enjoyed my company but every time go clubbing expect me to pay. i agree with what the TS said. I used to really suck at girls. I mean I dun think i'm not that bad looking at all, with normal bod, abit of expected beer belly. But I think it's only in recent 1-2yrs I got more and more confident with women and naturally better in hooking up with them.

2) Stable and promising career (money is always important. The more the better for sure. But we don't want women to only want us for our money, so go easy on the splurges)

3) Humor and adaptable personality (Women dig humorous guys who know how to crack them up into loads of laughter, so that they know they'll always have a happy time with u. Adaptable personality means one must be able to present diff sides of oneself to adapt to a girl's personality so one is sort of mirroring that girl's personality. This is the mirror effect, every human is a natural narcissist, we like it when we find someone with similar characteristics n personalities, it validates our own belief that our personality/characteristic is the right one when we see other pple carryin similar characteristics/personality

Having said that, one must caution not to be too adaptable until one loses his own main personality. Yes we need to be adaptable, but we still must have a very strong core personality which is exciting, interesting n fun but level headed)

4) Possess alpha-male traits. (Every guy wants the coveted chio bu. Every girl wants the coveted alpha-male. It's as simple as that. It's simple social rules. 'If everybody wants something.. it must be good, so i gotta have it also!' 5) Be widely-read and a sweet mouth (It's important to be able to always strike up a conversation about anything with anyone. It demonstrates intelligence and the girl wud dig that. From politics to simple soccer or cosmetics or fashion wear for different type of girls. A sweet mouth is in knowing how to talk and charm and please a girl. Being charismatic is what's needed here. Know when to compliment and be exciting and adaptable in conversation is needed here. But beware from being too sweet too early. Women can get turned off so I feel looking out for girls' reactions is important. Observe and adapt accordingly)


Pple think money is everything. I say it's a major factor. But it's not everything. It's no point showing off in trying to get the girls. Yup, u may get one or two girls who are super materialistic. But these girls are mostly shallow-headed and emotionally void to provide for any long term trysts and adventures. I personally continuously invest and trade my family's wealth to take care of my family's finances but it has never been a topic of conversation with girls as it's no point showing off such stuff. Such serious conversations are only with close buddies and like minded people. In fact, I might one day considering playing the role of a poor guy and try to pick up a girl somewhere.. :)

Paying for a FL might work, or finding a ONS is fuck... But there's no real thrill which is supposed to be there. We men are born hunters inside it. Using money to gain the 'fuck' makes it too easy.
