A note on my adventure with SexTherapy.

I am a young indian.

Was in bkk in october for the first time . stayed at le fenix ( soi 11 ) .
was there with one of my brother .

headed to pattaya for the initial two days . nothing great in pattaya .
No good looking thai girls .
went to a MP called RASPUTIN , good looking girls and prices from 2300 to 4500 baht.
later in the night went to some night club called MIXXX . picked up a UZBEK freelancer. damages 3000 baht LT , worth it .

came down to bkk, checked in at le fenix . checked out Q-bar in the night.
not so happening . maybe because we went there early . free entry though because of the le fenix key card . also at the BED supper club , but unfortunately didnt get a chance to go there.
Went to CM2 , entry 650 baht - 2 drinks . lots of russian/ middl eastern freelancers quoting 5000-8000 baht LT. hooked up with a nice thai girl 3000 baht LT , good looking .. but not a great job . Kept crying about a few things, so tipped her.
the next two nights went bar hopping . ambassador basement disc ( too crowded ) , shock 39 ( it wasnt that good too ) , bossy ( full of middle eastern FL , a few thai as well )
I had my brother with me , so i wasnt at full liberty.

Slim and Route 66 are the most popular in RCA. Alternatively try the pubs in Ekamai/Thonglor, Ratchada, Khaosan, etc. Talking about Khaosan have not been there for a long time. Can be quite fun as not as glam as Ekamai/Thonglor pubs. Worst days to go are on Fridays and Saturdays. Too damn packed for all these places.

For G-Club action you can do a search and read up.

Checking with booking.com is a good comparison (with nett rates). But not all are free cancellation (different tiers for same hotel). Guess promo deals on Agoda can be interesting and competitive. Agree one had to add on +10-15% for taxes on Agoda's pricing (their excuse: transparency?). But their reach is mind boggling. Besides upfront discount, there's also some points with +500 for each FR.

Sometimes, hotel promos directly maybe worthwhile too. No shows only if you at least give 24hrs notice.

The few times I went to check out MPs at lower Sukhumvit i.e. Annies soi2 and Darlings soi 12 few years ago, have been disappointed with quality, quantity of gals and facilities. 4. Afterhour joints like Insomnia and Climax gear more toward farangs, hence, the place more like a garage party and girls on the more "tanned" side. If you are more inclined toward "hi-so", stay with Funky and Muse. With that said, I still noticed quality of girls there going down. Perhaps, more men bringing working girls there to party?

Nang Leng (name in Thai means "Sit Play) is usually closed on Mondays. Which date did you go? Saturdays is golden day for biz. If you don't have reservations or not a regular don't expect to get a table after 9pm.

Lately Funky has been getting a bad rep amongst the regulars. It used to be a "hi-so" club but now the "lower class Thais" (not necessary WLs) are invading their turf. A few fights have broken out there so the more "hi-so" & Bangkokians are avoiding it hence why Nang Leng is so packed now.

Funky didn't really have a reputation of a pick up joint because of its clientele but maybe thats changing. So a better bet would be RCA at Slim/Flix or Rachada clubs like SNOP, Zaleng etc...

After hour joints are necessary a bad place. For one you can be sure than most of the girls are FLs (for those who wanna be sure but still have an element of fishing). New kid on the block Shock 39 has been very aggressive. You can see their stickers on most tuks tuks & taxis that ply the tourist areas. Other after hours place are Scratch Dog, Insomnia, VVIP... though I won't recommend VVIP coz it has a large katoey crowd. After a night of hard drinking can impair your better judgement.

Landmark is as the name suggests a landmark at corner of premiere most happening Sukhumvit soi- soi4 Nana (yes, IMHO more happening soi than soi cowboy cos soi4 has everything besides agogo NEP like shopping complex(Nana Square), nightmarket, roadside noodle, insect stall, burger stall, pool bars, irish bars, BJ bars, tonnes of hotels/restaurants, discos, streetwalkers, katoey walkers etc). Though I must admit the one type that soi4 does not have is the waitress can book restaurant that is available on soi cowboy :)
Anyway, Landmark is considered classy hotel (4 stars) and popular with farangs- have irish bar at basement and nice al fresco diner that faces Sukhumvit road and is ideal for gal watching and man watching. FLs do sit here looking for potential rich customers while men do sit here ogling gals going to work at soi 4. It is one of better hotels around here besides Marriott and Majestic Grande. Gals are quite impressed if you say you stay at Landmark and your chances of getting gals are not dimmed. :D

Last I went to Inch Bar was last two years ago, once the legal hours finished, the club transformed into underground disco, playing house music. Didn't know Inch closed down, one of good club to hook up pooying, especially this club playing Hip Hop, just like Slim, good thing here doesn't need to come early for the table, unlike Slim.

If 11pm can't get table, means WIP is well establish laew. Unlike last time, crowd only came in after 12 or 1am. Last I went is last year April, tip the waiter, and he bring me one table and put near the exit door. Here is like last time Phuture, can smoke, and even they got shisha to smoke. So anytime can happen like Santika. :) Whisky is 100 BHT cheaper then RCA.


No doubt Chula is good, but here I have CMU, Payap and not to forget the hiso U Far Eastern, but all far from my house. In order to bio them, need to go to Central Airport and drink coffee, but also far from my house. zzzzzz. :D
