A more Discreet H81?

Anyone knows which H81 is more discreet?

Want to bring my gf there, but she scare pai seh lah.

So bro, u know which H81 that is not so exposed one? like underground carpark or covered carpark. Then got backdoor entrance one...which means no need pass by the reception counter and can go up lift to room one?

Intend to pay a visit one afternoon so, she like wanna minimise "exposure" to public. Basically just wanna go to a place to make out without exposing too much of herself to public. She scare people see her and pai seh. :P

Any idea anyone? Help....

I would recommend kovan 81 cos they have a basement carpark at the back, you can park there and take the lift straight to lobby , don't have to go thru front door.;)

Don't u guys have such problem? No matter what, public view H81 as a place for make out one. I think if i book the higher class hotel, i think she will have no problem entering from the main entrance..hahaha..

Lor 39 one is what ah? old one or not...i must say, H81 is very clean and well maintain in terms of rooms. Some places i read in this forum very old la, dirty la, eerie la. I dun want to spoil mood of gal man. Better be safe... Thats why i stick to H81...

Bencoolen and Bugis very open leh and so crowded... Best is those go in get key and go up fast fast one... actually i also pai seh. :P

Or sometimes lunch time, can bring your colleague there, especially i am reading quite abit of office affair here in the forum ...ha.

Today i went to check it out..wow, quite full wor. Yeah indeed the carpark is limited. But i like the way it has the access lift up. :D which is what i wanted.

But i think crowded. :(

I dont think there's anything to hide.. 70% of the couples at Fragrance or 81 are there for the same reason. I for one wont be bothered to look at the person next to me.
Room rates in Singapore and risen a lot and will continue to rise due to the govt's continious effort to advertise the country as a venue for business conventions. The coming F1, Youth Olympics and upcoming IR will only spur the touristry industry up a few more notches.

Yes, there'll be new hotels, medium tier hotels but I think even with the slowing economy the demand will overwhelm supply. So enjoy the low rates at 81/Fragrance while you can. 30-45mins wait can be very long when you are on heat but just imagine the day when you have to make a reservation at 81 2-3 days in advance....

And as for those that are worried about being spotted.. move around. If you stay at the east then use the 81 in the east or west. And you can find all the locations and maps of the 81s on the internet. One word of caution.. I did that and ended up bumping into a cousin at 81 Lavender.. 30sec of embarrassment but we are now best friends, exchanging info, bonk list and even swapped partners on 2 occassions. parkin lots in KOVAN is super limited... u can park in d shoppin centre ler... but bear in mind.. think itz S$1.00++ in d shoppin centre... also.. KOVAN although doesnt have much sleaze ard, apparently they have high customer flow there.. hehehhe..

yeah very discreet but parking very limited..i brought a expat wife there a couple of times and she really like the place for its discretion...furthermore she did not have to walk thru the recept area as the stairs were located outside of the reception..

bro spices, I can understand your dilemma. I remember the first time I went to H81 was also quite a pai seh experience for me, it all depends on the individual..if the person's personality is shy, then definitely will be pai seh compared to thick skin bro or sis;)

Anyway, I think Kovan or Bencoolen is the best bet for you. Another possibility is Tristar 81 cos they have a huge U/G car park but have to walk through shopping mall at the 1st level to get to hotel lift. At Kovan, as other bros say, you can also park at the shopping mall behind H81, then walk across. Kovan rooms are newer and since you are member, sometimes they give the bigger rooms with small sofa if hotel is full.

In the west, you can try Pasir Panjang Inn..they have ST also but more ex, however there is basement carpark and very quiet. Rooms are a bit old though. For myself, I always carry a list with most of the budget hotel telephone nos. and I always call before going there, just to check the queue, especially during busy period. After the session, I throw away the list and print again if needed...hehe:D

no problem, bro. I have tried some Fragrance branch for overnight, never for transit. The ones I have tried are not computerised.
The recep will take your IC and fill in the form, then ask you to sign.
So, I always ask my gal to sit in the car and wait until I get the room key. Then I will go and fetch her from the car and go into hotel together.

1. Your chances of getting seen by female relatives/colleagues in GL area is the least simply because these ladies would not want to venture into GL area, right?:o
2. If you bump into a male friend/relative in a GL hotel recep, your mind goes: 'Dun you dare ask me wat I'm doing here. What are YOU doing here?':p
3. If you stay close with your girl, I dun think the guys are so bold to check her out in your presence, right? (In GL, you need not go check in and leave her in your car alone because, like I said, your chances of meeting someone is pretty remote).;)

Hmm...now to convince your lady of the night that GL is a SAFE place to check-in...

fragrance viva is always full house de.. even at the weirdest hour.. sibei sian de... best to go JC area.. many many different ones to choose from.. u want bigger rooms then go h81 tristar 30/2hrs.. the rest like classic/JC is standard 20/2hrs... fragrance waterfront(clementi rd) also always full house de.. limited rooms also.. been there once at 4am.. also got to wait!
