This is old scam...think was back in 1990s...many sexy babes befriend me in yahoo messenger to chat and asked me to turn on video...I turned on but my laptop can see the gal and she cannot see me becos I had taped the laptop camera...so she gave me free show and I showed her nothing...:)

Why don't u make some excuse that you can only give him cash. Show him a picture of the cash. Make some excuse that your bank block your account because of suspected fraud activities. Then a malaysian phone number called me and a dude picked up the phone... telling me that he's in charge of protecting the girl from police and therefore needed a deposit... i told him i was not comfortable with that and I would like to cancel the meeting... however he tried to insist and I told him no deal and I blocked the number...

then on telegram the 'girl' messaged me saying that if i don't answer my phone to him they were gonna call my wife...

i stupidly played into their hands out of fear and responded to the Malaysian number...

ever since then, they've been asking for more and more money from 1k to 5k etc etc... saying that it's to put a deposit for their 'hotel'... it's a deposit to protect the 'girl' bla bla bla... and each time i said that I have no money... they would say we will find your wife to settle for you...

this despite me saying that you find my wife... you will get nothing... and these clever fuckers everytime they do it, i ask them are you threatening me now? they will say...nonono brother... i never say i'm threatening you... I only say maybe someone will go find your wife settle....

at first i thought their threats were empty and then they suddenly they could tell me my wife's phone number and described her instagram account... I'm terrified of what it would do to my family... however i'm terrified of what they would do to my family physically...

I have since decided that advice just like all my other friends have suggested as well and blocked whatever numbers they have used to try and contact me…

The harassment has not ended… seeing the photos they spam me it’s very clear they have gotten the pictures from both my and my wife’s instagram… this is despite already setting the account to private…

However I thought it through a little bit more and feel that they have nothing to earn by telling my wife anything… the threat of her knowing is the only thing that would frighten me into action….
If she does know… and whether things fall apart or not with my family… they will not earn a single cent… if anything I’ll use whatever resources I have left to hunt down these people and take my vengeance…if they leave me well alone… I will follow suit…

Just wanted to consult all the bros here and let bros know about a certain 'group' that's operating in singapore...

So about a month back... due to various reasons and circumstances... I ended up looking for a 'lady' (I'm now 100% certain the girl does not exist, despite their claims that she's legit with an instagram account) via telegram... she guided me to meet her at a certain location. When I got there... she asked me for my mobile phone number, which in hindsight I was stupid to give. Then a malaysian phone number called me and a dude picked up the phone... telling me that he's in charge of protecting the girl from police and therefore needed a deposit... i told him i was not comfortable with that and I would like to cancel the meeting... however he tried to insist and I told him no deal and I blocked the number...

then on telegram the 'girl' messaged me saying that if i don't answer my phone to him they were gonna call my wife...

i stupidly played into their hands out of fear and responded to the Malaysian number...

ever since then, they've been asking for more and more money from 1k to 5k etc etc... saying that it's to put a deposit for their 'hotel'... it's a deposit to protect the 'girl' bla bla bla... and each time i said that I have no money... they would say we will find your wife to settle for you...

this despite me saying that you find my wife... you will get nothing... and these clever fuckers everytime they do it, i ask them are you threatening me now? they will say...nonono brother... i never say i'm threatening you... I only say maybe someone will go find your wife settle....

at first i thought their threats were empty and then they suddenly they could tell me my wife's phone number and described her instagram account... I'm terrified of what it would do to my family... however i'm terrified of what they would do to my family physically...

and its starting to feel like this would never end...

the advice I've gotten from quite a few people so far is to block these mother fuckers phone numbers.... the chance of them actually contacting my family is actually low... and the 'perceived' shared live whatsapp location can be artificially simulated

this is partially a rant and partially a cry for advice from senior bros...

if there's a claim that a malaysian gal... and the price is too cheap... don't go for it bros and NEVER reveal your handphone number to anyone EVER... these fuckers are damn tech savy now to find you and hurt you...

Previously i think it appeared in the news that got people working in the telco selling cust data to ‘repay’ their debt.

With that. Mostly mobile phone are linked to your fb/ig and etc. so that’s how everything got linked i guess
