It's a rock and a hard place for them.
With publicity , they can milk Singapore for all it's worth. Especially those on short 1/2 months tourist visa. These will cram as many customers as possible and work like mad dogs. Because the money they earn will usually last them for many months after they go home - for their daily expenses, a new house perhaps, some travelling, and their predilection for that branded handbag or two
Those on long term work stay, or PRs want things more quiet. They don't want to attract unwanted attention, also because they space out their sessions, not to over strain themselves. I actually advise some of these girls that they should take a day off each week. Because though their spirits might be able to work non stop, their bodies cannot. Sure crash and burn if they don't let their bodies rest and recover once in a while.
