There may not be a universal standard, so yes, a scoring system may not seem adequate...
However, I still prefer it. Because one can read a lot into it.
Just describing doesn't say much, because many don't describe enough... Not everyone is an English major. So very generalized statements, "very good service, recommended", "the best I ever had", " walk out a happy man" , "AP in the making" ...then no proper justification .. Hahaha.
Scoring for me is better because can "average out". Just like sports, omit the highest and lowest scores, average out the rest. And you'd get some initial idea of the ML. Of course, the final decision is from personal instincts and experience.
I also like scores because I can immediately recognize the fake FRs! Hahaha.
