They tip the chambermaid to get more towels, especially if the chambermaid comes from their home country. The problem is, some of these chambermaids are double-headed, they supply extra towels on one hand, and report to hotel management on the other, since excessive requests for towels is a dead giveaway that the girl is providing sexual services.
