Agree that paying upfront will not give any incentive for the ML to work harder for tips.
Not to worry about forgetting to pay, you can always paynow their agents. Or you can pay during RTM.
For those who deliberately don't want to pay, they are recorded in the database. In this case, the ML may ask for payment upfront if they accept you.
