You hit the point on the last sentence, 'hard earned money'! I don't think bros here are heart pain for the MLs. It is all about balance and everyone being happy and gaining something out of it. It is a tripartite. As long as any one party becomes greedy and gain too much over the others, then one party loses, balance tipped and the whole ecosystem collapse. When we brushed it off as they easily earned 30k, then we are losing the plot. It is not only rental, but taxes and agent fees etc, plus daily expenses on utilities, detergents and so on. They do have to fork out a huge sum before coming over, and takes a while to break even. If they get caught earlier, then it is a huge loss for them. So they take the risk upfront. And yet we put all the blame on them.
We are all greedy. Human nature. Free pussy which customer will reject? Free offer of more money which ML will reject? The one that gains most is actually the agents. They are the ones tipping the scale.
So if there is a 30 days visa free for them, I am hoping the agents are the first to get F. And hopefully there is enough competition with happy MLs flooding our waters to bring down the price.
To be honest, I am happy when my regular ML is easy to book, very few customers so she is fresh and energised. But if she cannot survive and have to pack up and leave early, then it is a bummer for me. So it is not heart pain but being selfish. I just want a balance, so I see happy MLs when I visit them, not naggy about not being able to survive, which puts the session off.
