Anyone here cheated on their wives and caught genital herpes?

My wife and I took a comprehensive STD test before we got married and we know that we are both HSV-1 and HSV-2 negative. Sex right now is only once a month or once every two months. Have been tempted to go find FL to release (wanking just doesn't cut it) but I have a fear, perhaps irrational, of catching herpes as I read herpes can be transmitted just by skin to skin rubbing and you still can catch it even if you use a condom and even if the positive person has no active outbreak.

Anyone here faced a similar situation before and how did you explain to your wife? If your wife didn't catch your first outbreak, how did you continue having sex with your wife while knowing you may potentially transmit to her?
