Bros who cheong regularly in Batam know the kind of risks they would face if they were to quarrel or engage an arguement with the ceweks (FLs) over booking price. They would rather pay watever price agreed upon and just let the ceweks F off even though her services sucks! Not that we are cowards and if any bros here like to prove that they are heros there, then he must be an idiot! Just like Bro Dnat said, we are foreigners on their local soils. Just dont mess around with them. Wat is another $40 - $50? Ur life more important. Do u guys know these Indon have very good memories. Joke aside. I had engaged a supir only once and its been almost 4 over years, he could still recognise my face (even after shaving my mostache) and even remember my NAME!!! So, better be safe than sorry.

I agree to a certain extent what fellow bros have mentioned about experiencing bad ceweks during our 'regular pilgrimage' to BT. Be it FLs or gals from joints, there'd always be a bad egg or eggs dying to spoil our fun in BT.

So thinking back, it was quite dangerous for me to have scolded Indri as I do not know a single thing about her background; but then again, I ain't gonna be a 'robert'/'carrot-head' or whatever one calls it by letting these ceweks have their way when their service and attitude stinks to the high heavens. I'm not trying to be a 'hero' when the incident with Indri happened and if she takes it one step further.. well, all I can say is... LET'S GET IT ON! haha! Just kidding lah, just f**king pay lor, what to do..

From a neutral perspective, by not paying them any or lowering their tips demand, aren't we all making things even more difficult for ourselves during our future trips? And if we give in to their demands, wouldn't the tipping scale be on the constant rise? When will enough be enough? It's a vicious cycle indeed; either way, we lose. Personally, I think it's best we leave it to fellow bros to decide for themselves if they should tip the bad cewek or not, if at all. We are afterall answerable for our own actions

Of course, the above is just a simple illustration of the worst-case scenario. I'm pretty sure not all ceweks are like those we've encountered. Like my gal, Tania, she's a gem! She text me today during lunch saying she missed me lah, told me to go find her when I go back to BT next time lah etc etc So I'm already planning to see her soon...

Frankly I'm quite surprised how my simplistic post generated so much hype & debate on the confronting the FL issue ^_^

There are no right or wrong answers and various people will have conflicting views, especially in a forum like this, thats what makes it so colourful.

There will always be people whom feels that the risk or potential trouble is not worth it, and prefer to pay-up rather than confront the FL. This is definitely a normal and safe approach, no doubt about it.

Yet there will also be people that will rather confront the FL and preserve their pride, rather than simply be cowered and humiliated by a much younger gal, most of the time half the age of the bro. Most of the times its not the $$ itself, its actually the thought that of paying full-price but getting half the service, plus getting conned by a much younger gal with much lesser-worldly experiences. I think its safe to add-that that particular bro may even feel happier to give a bigger sum to the mata's to chase the troublemaker off, instead of giving the $$ to that troublemaker.

Lets not get too violent or over-enthusiastic about this issue, just do whatever your level of tolerance or risk-taking allows, as long as you yourself feels its right and happier doing it. ^_^

I'm not interested in debating who's right or wrong, only interested in gathering right-minded sincere bros for cheonging our common aim.

Last time my friend tried once.
But instead of "lam thinh" both at the same time, become one in toilet and the other one service my friend.
