Usually first 3 or 4 days, no shop open for business, staring from Aug 1 this years.

If you go during NDP time, it should be shorter working hours for entertainment, still got service, if you know where to get. But disco and pubs close earlier. Also, note that many shops are not open for makan, I refer to nasi padang ones, they dont open.

If this is your virgin trip, then don't go at this timing lah. U will be disappointed unless you have a contact to call. If not difficult to get cewek, I mean the nice ones.

The restaurants oso have to cover with red cloth so that ppl eating cannot see from outside. Sometimes, can also see dark sink ppl eating inside oso, so damn funny one leh.

I tried 1 time, but was not very happy ending of the trip. Maybe U have better luck...lol

Thanks for the info. Wanted to ask what will the closing time for disco and pub at that period? Cause I read from this thread that they are girls we can pick up from there. I plan to book the room in advance so no need headace to find room when reach there.

Unless it's a major holiday then u might have to worry a little.
Other than that, plenty of rooms of varying prices/categories.

So I guess next fri and weekend many bro will cheong at full strength again.do they open the front door business as usual or discreetly go in from back door?

Guess they mata have to take into consideration if they totally shut all vice operation their hari raya bonus also shut.

The matas are not the ones they are afraid of. The religious zealots are the ones that these places are afraid of. Suka suka, wear their white shirts come out of masjid and wack the KTV places. As if they are doing the work of god.

Vice places usually close about 10 or 11 pm from past history, you still can go in thru front doors. Most vice places are asked to tone down their acitivity or ask to be not so prominent.

No need to book in advance. About 100 hotels in Batam you scared what? Only scared you no money to pay only.

Only thing to be aware is to find gals earlier, rather than to go late, where most gals would be taken liao, espeically major holidays and sat.

Most of the hotels are nearby to each other, espeically nagoya/jodoh area. Plenty of hotels to choose from. Rates from 100k onwards.
