Now, back to something important. I read in another forum that some people were HIV tested on coming back from Batam recently.

Can any brothers here confirm that this has happened and is true?

This is a very serious situation obviously and I saw on TV that some people have proposed it at the immigration points but never knew that it has been implemented.

Comments and latest information?

I like to be tested but on my own time and with full anonymity as I have done before, not at the behest of some government official and without anonymity.

Thanks to all those who are providing the latest on the rumour.

While its good to be tested - anonymously, it should be at our own time in our own privacy.

We should all refuse to be tested if asked unless they can produce a written law somewhere that can prove that tests are compulsory in any way!

That's my take on this!

If enough people refuse, they will know of the difficulties of implementation of this shit!

Personally, I doubt that such a law will be passed. They cant 'enforce' the tests at Harbourfront entry only. It has to be at all entry points to S'pore.

A big IF, that is - if such a ruling is passed then relationships with our closest neighbours, M'sia & Indo, would be strained. It is as good as saying that STDs, especially HIV/AIDS, rates are quite rampant in their countries.

Our leaders are very mindful of maintaining cordial relationships with them.

I've been to Batam twice during the past week. Stayed at Formosa and really enjoyed the massage from King's Massage.

No hanky panky stuff but just pure solid massage. The masseuse is a middle aged lady. Her name is Yanni and number is 3.

It costs you - 2hrs at their premises 85k and 95k in your hotel room. You get 10% discount if you are a VIP card holder. I think it is slightly cheaper than what you pay at Massage parlours outside.

So if any bros looking for a pure massage after the workouts, be it at work or at batam, can try this masseuse.

PS - I am not sure of the others from King's but you are getting your money's worth from her.

Is the Tui Na at Tai Ji - Mandarin Hotel the same type of tui na like PRC/pai du mama in singapore? Prefer rubbing skin than the thai bone cracking..and the indo girls are not as good as compare to the thais

Ali Shan Ktv in Formosa hotel fourth level not bad. Room rate reasonable and morever got some discount. Sons collection wise has great varities to choose from.

I am a regular customer there. Been there since 99 till now. Can give a try.

Bro, charges are resonable for Ktv and that depend on the type of rooms you choose. I mean the sizes of the room. 25K for small and 30K for mdeium room.

Girl prices are at 230K. Not sure whether prices has change but few months back my friend book the girl are still at the same charges. If you just want girls to sit with you. It depend how much you want to pay them. Like Sg ktv but of course it is cheaper to pay tips there. keke If you don't to book girls there is alright.

Sun to Thur they only open in the evening. Fri and Sat open at 1300 hrs batam time.

The manager, Eddie is a chinese and a very nice guy.
