Yes.......been there done tat . Be it PRC, Btm, Thailand, etc....there will be girls who come out with all sort of patterns to go off before booking time ends. It is frustrating to meet such girls as they spoil the mood for the day(night). I believe, most chiongsters will have experienced at least once girls coming out with pattern to get out of the `contract'.
We learn our lessons and use that experience to have a better pick next time....but then again, there is no guarantee . Personally, I try not to allow such incidents spoil the whole trip as, like u say, it's part of the risk.

Owned by Amercian(s). 15 rooms. Quiet sanctuary. Each room has a different theme and is exotic. There's a golf course next to it. It's a good resort for *total* seclusion and relaxation. On the flip side - means there's nothing to see or do, except enjoy the room and eat local cuisine. There's no view but the golf course per se. Good for couples. Personally liked Treehouse room (albeit is small room), Timor Suite, and the Madura Suite. Bathrooms in the suites are spacious and the suites I mentioned have luxury jacuzzi. IF wanna host a gangbang, or pajama party - the Harem suite (8 pax) is excellent. Due to the seclusion - 3D2N is max I would suggest. I got bored just 1 hr after checking out the rooms and amenities - there really is nothing to do and the resort is far away from anywhere. The rates are broken down to STANDARD (small rooms), LUXURY (suites). Walk-in rates same as online rates.
Not too sure about Tempat Senang,but according to what i read,those who are there usually goes for their Spa Packages.In fact,it market itself as a Spa Hotel Resort. So at most time,there is at least a burn time of 3 hours just for the massage/Spa due. Great place for the honey moon type of outing,hehehe...

Not a sea food person,so i usually give the restaurant food a miss. Not a place you stay,but more of an open air massage place where there is a 2 person bath tub with water jet thing... enjoying the sun,the sand,the sea as well as the massage and a dip in their nice bath tub,hehehe....i feel like a naturalist (in nude,of course) for the 1st time.
However the Beach Front Cottage is smaller in room-size if you wish to stay by the beach ,you might have a lonely feel if you do not have neighbour staying around. My last trip there was on weekday,so it gives me a holiday-chalet-back-to-nature feel.Sunset view from the cottage was totally captivating,hehehe...just too bad i didnt wake up early enough to watch the sunrise...lol. Oh,wait...i can hear the sea waves in rhythm from where i stayed too.
*no mosquito issues tho,just watch out for some sand flies at the beach

I believe every sea side resort is not going to have very good furniture as it is near to sea side. The salt corrosion from the sea breeze eats away their furniture slowly,even the strongest stainless steel corrodes away over time.

As the name implies, it's all live seafood that u can choose your own.. Pricing is way cheaper than the touristy places like Wey Wey or A2 or Windsor...
Last Sunday ordered steamed garoupa, drunken prawns, mussels, gong-gong, veggies, homemade tofu, squid, satay and drinks for 6pax, less than 800k... Same dishes would have probably cost 1.2-1.5juta in harborbay...

Garuda is 'atas' nasi padang restaurant chain.. they have quite number of branches in major city and also have branches in singapore.. suntec city if i'm not mistaken..
the quality is definitely better.. and the price, of course no need to compare with sederhana.. sederhana, you still can tapao for $2 with beef rendang or chicken..
New Hotel Da Vienna looks good,3 stars hotel with brand new everything. One man's meat likely to be another man's poison. When i read your post,i went to do some study on it over its distance,location and rates,i shant comment much. Sad to say it isnt my kind of hotel as it doesnt have the type of rooms i need.

And having pin pointing them is not exactly a good idea either in case bros here do not wish to pay the so-call driver commission. So most time,i use Hotel name as land mark to pin the joint's location instead.

In case you didnt know,when you checked out from Formosa Hotel,you can still leave your belongings at the reception so you need not carry your bag around during shopping. Taxi outside formosa Hotel can be bargained to 40k subjectively.
I am glad you finally manage to find Ocean Massage as there was no way i can pin point the location via PM. 2 Girls massage you for 1.5 hr ,same 2 girls doing BM and HJ-ing you and at a cost of less than S$92.00,i think it is still well worth the cost in Sillypore term (except i always count indo term...lol).
